Hello everyone it's time for a new chapter. Last chapter was a boring chapter but anyway you guys met Caster who was willing to make a temporary contract with you then took a break.

POV: You

Part 1.

We walked up the mountain closer towards where Caster was leading us but needed to find a place to rest for a bit. We then found what looked like what used to be a school. But now it looked deserted. It looked like a good place to rest up, we wouldn't be out in the open.

"How about here?" I say as we stopped in front of the school.

"Not too bad for a commoner" Olga says with a slight blush on her face.

"Thanks" I say while rubbing the back of my neck.

"Let's rest up here for a half an hour then meet back at the school's entrance. Understood?" Olga says.

"Understood" We all say.

We all then walked into the school and started wandering and exploring the abandoned building. The rooms we all in a mess, chairs and desks were thrown all over the place, papers covering the floor, and text books all out of sorts. As I walked I found Mash on the 2nd floor look out a window looking up to the sky, Fou was on her left shoulder with her shield leaning against a wall.

Mash hears me walking towards me and turns towards me.

"Senpai?"

"Aren't you cold?" I ask her as I felt the cool air on my skin.

"No, I'm fine. It seems that this form isn't affected by temperature" She replies.

"I see" I say then a long pause "I'm sorry"

"Huh?"

"I'm sorry that I put such a burden on you. If I were a first rate mage, that burden wouldn't be so heavy" I say as I looked out the window.

Mash smiles "You really are a shining example of a human. I'm actually greatful, I couldn't be happier to of made a contract with you"

I then smile back to her.

"Do you think there used to be a blue sky here as well?" Mash asks.

"Yeah, at some point" I say.

"Hey guys" I her Clay say from behind us as he and Skyler walked up the staircase.

"Hey" I say.

"How are you guys doing?" He asks.

"Well, considering the situation were all in" I reply.

"Hey, if you mind me asking, what did you and Skyler do before coming to Chaldea?" I ask.

Clay and Skyler look at eachother and Skyler nods to him.

"We killed for a living" He says.

I was taken back by his reply and I say "You were killers..."

"Not in the way you think, we killed mythological beings for a living" He says then draws his daggers from the holsters on his lower back "These daggers were made from Fenrir's K9 teeth"

"No way" I say in awe as a looked at the blades.

I never really looked closely at his daggers but they looked really cool. The handles looked stone like with gold lines swirling around on it, the blades were long and thing with blue lines swirling around on the blade.

"Wait, do you mean the famed wolf of norse mythology that had the teeth that could kill a god" Mash exclaims.

"Correct" Clay replies.

"How were you able to go up against a legendary beast like that?" Mash questions.

"Skill" He simply replies.

"How is the teeth in daggers?" I ask him.

"The teeth are infused in the blade and are also the handles. Skyler forged them for me with his magic, all I had to do was needed was the teeth and a very strong metal that isn't worth mentioning due the the grind I did to get it" He explains.

"I see" I say.

"It's been a half an hour. Let's get back to the entrance of the school" Skyler says.

Part 2.

After meeting up with Olga and Caster at the school's entrance we continued our way up the mountain. We had to walk through a dense forest to get to the place we had to get to where the corrupted greater grail. After our long walk we were met with a cave entrance that lead into the mountain.

"We'll find the greater grail inside" Caster says.

"It appears to be a natural cave. Has it always been here or was it forged by other means?" Mash questions.

"It's half natural and half artificial. It must of taken years for some mage to create this underground workshop" Olga says.

Fou then starts growling while looking behind us. We turn around and Mash readies her shield.

"Well, speak of the devil looks like the disciple is here" Caster says.

Then a man with white hair appears on a cliff edge in front of us. He had a black outfit on with a torn coat on his waist with red marks going up his arms and face.

"This is the Archer servant?" Olga asks.

"Let me guess, your protecting the wielder of the holy sword as always" Caster says to Archer.

"I have no memory of becoming a disciple. I'm just here to do the mundane task of chasing away visitors" Archer says.

"In other words, a gatekeeper. I don't know what you think your protecting Saber from, but I say we end this here" Caster says.

Archer scuffs then holds arm out and a bow forms inside it while a sword forms in the other "I'm sorry but I just don't have that kind of free time. Begone" Archer says as he loads the sword into the bow and shoots it towards us.

Mash runs in front of me to protect me. The arrow Archer shot then gets engulfed in fire and disappears into the air. Caster and Archer then start to fight with each other.

"Get in the cave now. Saber's inside there" Caster tells us.

"Let's get moving" Olga tells us.

We then start running down the cave tunnel while leaving Caster behind to battle Archer. After a long run we finally get to the other side of the tunnel. It was a humongous cavern that had hill in the center of it with a purple glow illuminating inside. We came to a stop as we looked at the hill in the center.

"So is this the greater grail?" I question.

"It has to be" Olga says.

"My, my, You've got a interesting servant there" We hear a cold feminine voce say.

The five of us look up and we see a woman in black armor with a purple aura surrounding her. She had a sword in that was black with red engraving on it.

"Is that Saber?" I ask.

"What an incredible aura?" Olga says.

Mash then puts her sword in front of her.

"You have a shield, I'd advise you to ready it strange girl" Saber says. She then puts her sword in front of her ready to fight "With this sword I will determine whether your protection is genuine"

Saber then charges at Mash from the top of the hill and hit Mash's shield creating a orange shockwave and sparks. Saber then swings and hits Mash's shield again while also hitting the ground making rock fly everywhere. Olga puts down a barrier down to protect Me, Her, Clay, and Skyler from the rubble. Saber continued to bombard Mash with attacks.

"There has to be something I can do right now" I thought as I gripped the handle of my katana.

I then feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn and I see Skyler.

"I wouldn't I I were you, your not even close to strong enough to even take one attack from a servant" He says.

"Then what do you want me to do?" I question.

"Hold on for the time being" He says.

"What's wrong?" Saber asks Mash "Why won't you come forward?"

Saber then hits Mash's shield so hard that it threw her and her shield back throwing Mash to the ground.

"I need to go" I say and I was about to run to Mash but Olga stopped me.

"You won't save her. You will only be in the way, or maybe worse" She tells me.

"But she's getting hurt!" I tell Olga.

"Let her do her job" Olga says "Look I know how you feel, painfully so"

"Then let me help her" I shout.

"You are that girls master, and that girl is your sworn servant" She tells me.

I watch and she was struggling to get up. Mash then grabs her shield and pick it up. Saber walks close to Mash before swinging her sword and hitting the ground sending a large blast of dirt at Mash. Mash gets pushed back by the attack and when the dust clears Mash was on the ground again trying to get up. Mash picks up her shield again and holds it in front of her.

Saber's aura then starts to get stronger and stronger. Saber holds her sword above her head with both hands and her sword looks like it got bigger but it was just accumulating power.

"I'm going to her and no one is stopping me" I say before running towards Mash.

"(Y/n)!" Olga shouts as I ran towards Mash.

"EXCALIBUR MORGAN!!!" Saber shouts before bringing her sword down and the huge power in her sword shooting towards Mash.

The deep purple colored powershot towards Mash and hit her shield, a shockwave then blows past me carrying dust with it. The power was blasted around the shield after hitting it making many arcs over the shield. I watched Mash as I got closer and she looked like she was going to give up. I rushed over to her and somehow was able to get behind the shield and Mash. I then put my hand on top of her hand that was holding the shield Her eyes shoot open and look over at me.

"Senpai, Your here" Mash says.

I believe in you Mash" I say as I held her hand tighter.My hand then shined a bit before a small glow came off of Mash before going away. Mash looked determined now.

"Watch what I can do now master" Mash says while looking ahead.

The shield then starts to glow a light blue before a light blue phantom shield appears from her shield making it bigger. Then a phantom brick wall forms in front of the shield absolutely blocking Saber's attack. Then Saber's attack starts shooting back towards her and hitting her creating a explosion. The dust cleared and Saber looked hurt but not enough to take her out. Mash's phantom wall then starts to dissipate. I look over to Mash and she looked weak, she then almost fell over and I caught her. Saber then started powering up again to do the same attack but more powerful, He sword became a huge sword of power that will absolutely demolish us.

"EXCALIBUR!!!!"

"Mash won't be able to take another one of those attacks" I thought.

"MORGAN!!!!"

I closed my eyes and waited for our death by Saber's attack but it never came. I opened my eyes and I saw something incredible, Clay had his daggers out in front of him and was blocking Saber's attack from hitting us. The overflow of power flew in a spherical arcs around him and past me and Mash.

"No fucking way!" I shout.

"What the hell?!" Olga shouts "How is that even possible?! How is he able to block Saber's noble phantasm let alone go against take on a servants power?!"

"Me and Clay weren't called the most powerful mages in the association for no reason" Skyler laughs "You should of known that Director, Didn't anyone from the association tell you?"

"No!, No one told me that!" Olga shouts.

"Now you know" Skyler says.

"Finally, someone strong to fight, it's been a while" Clay says with a smirk on his face.

"You dare challenge the King of Knights!" Saber shouts.

Then it looks like more power starts flowing through her attack making Clay not even move a inch. Then Saber's attack starts to die down until it was all gone. Saber held her sword exhausted before standing up straight as if she was suddenly filled with energy. I then see Clay's daggers ger engulfed in the same power that Saber attacked us with as he flipped his daggers in his hand so they pointed upwards.

"Take this King of Knights!" Clay shouts before swiping his daggers down in a (X) pattern.

The power from his daggers then shoots towards Saber in a condensed (X) shaped attack. It hits Saber and creates a huge explosion, bigger than the one Mash created when she shot Saber's attack back at her. After a few moments the dust clears and Saber looked very weak.

"My magical power is now down to nothing" Saber says before standing strait up and walking towards Clay "I have become very curious of you now, The one who challenged the King of Knights and actually won" Saber then stops infront of Clay and takes out a dark piece of metal out from her armor and gives it to Clay "This is your reward"

"It was a honor to fight you" Clay says.

"It was a honor for me as well" Saber says while she started to fade away with the faintest of smiles on her face.

"Ultimately no matter how fate may change, what have it the outcome. The fact that I face it alone remains.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I ask

"The Grand Order, The battle to obtain the holy grail has just begun" Saber says before fully fading away, leaving a golden crystal behind.

"So, uhh, what just happened between Saber and Clay?" I ask as I helped Mash over to Olga and Skyler.

"Saber gave Clay a reward for winning you idiot, wasn't that obvious?" Olga tells me.

I look over at Clay and he puts the piece of armor in his pocket and walked back over to us like he was perfectly fine. My wristband then starts to beep, I answer it and I hear Dr. Roman's voice.

"Well done you guys, excellent work. I'm just sorry that I'm not getting a visual on this end. I can only imagine how happy you guys must be. Director, It seems we can finally breathe a sigh of relief"

"The Grand Order, How could that servant known of that name?" Olga questions.

"Are you okay?" I ask Olga.

"I'm fine, well done (Y/n), Mash, Clay, and Skyler" Olga says then turned to Mash "Your experience didn't matter, nor did being a temp servant, the shield opened up to you. Even if it got the true name you didn't have the slightest intention in becoming that heroic spirit. I'm sure that's why the noble phantasm responded to you. Hmm, being able to use the noble phantasm without a true name is sorta problem" She says then stopped to think then says "Ah ha, How about 'Lord Chaldeas', The name Chaldea has meaning for you doesn't it?"

"It does. Thank you very much Director. Lord Chaldeas it is" Mash says.

We all smiled before hearing the sound of someone clapping echo through the cavern.

"My, I didn't expect you would make it this far. This is an unforeseen element that goes way beyond what I am able to tolerate" We all hear a familiar voice say.

We look and we see a man standing on top of the hill that the greater grail is in.

"Is that Professor Leff?" I question

"Professor Leff" Mash says happily.

"Did you say Professor Leff?" Dr. Roman says.

"I fucking knew he was the cause of this" Clay says.

Olga then starts running towards Professor Leff.

"Thank god you're alive Leff" Olga shouts.

"It seems nothing is going according to plan" Leff says "I planted a bomb right under your feet Olga yet here you are"

When Olga heard that she stopped in her tracks.

"This isn't good"

I ran to Olga and grabbed her hand "Olga we need to get away from him" I shout.

"No, tell me it's not true. Tell me your lying" Olga cries out.

"I am not" Leff says.

"No......" Marie says.

Leff snaps and the crystal that Saber dropped after fading away flew up to him. Then what looks like a portal opens up revealing a close up of Chaldeas.

"Since you have so selflessly dedicated your live Chaldea, the least I can do to show my gratitude is give you a glimpse of what's going on. So take a real good look scion of the Animusphere family, what your seeing is the fate of you families idiocy" Leff says psychotically

Olga then starts to hover upwards and towards Chaldeas. Then a black glowing rope gets wrapped around waist and it lead behind me. I look behind me and I see Skyler holding the rope preventing Olga from going any further.

"(Y/n) take the line, Me and Clay will deal with Leff" Skyler tells me and hands me the line

I pulled on the line trying get Olga back to the ground.

"That's impossible. Something that has more power than me" Leff says.

"Being strong mages that's all" Skyler says.

Clay took out his bow and pulled back the sting. Skyler stood next to him while chanting a spell from his tome. Then what looks like a bright spear of light forms inside the bow.

"Shoot it now!" Skyler shouts.

Clay releases the bow string and the spear of light shoots towards Leff. Leff tries to stop the spear with barrier after barrier but it doesn't stop. He then tries to dodge it but it takes off his right arm. With that He lost concentration and the portal to Chaldeas closed. I was able to then safely pull Olga back to the ground. Once here feet touches the ground she hugs for dear life.

"It's going to be okay Olga, I'm here for you" I tell her while hugging her back.

"Thank you for saving me" She says while putting her head into my chest.

"You mortals! I will kill you next time" Leff says before vanishing into thin air.

"Ahh, another day at work" Clay says while stretching his arms and walking towards us.

"Thank you Clay, Skyler, For helping me so much" I say.

"It's no problem, That's what friends are for, to help each other out" Clay says with a smile and Skyler nods.

"Now that we have completed the mission, let's head back" Mash says.

"Your hear that Dr. Roman, Take us home" I say.

"Alright" He says "Ray shifting back in 3.2.1-"

"And with that we were out of the hell hole which was Singularity F, And since Clay was right he doesn't have to leave since he was right so that's good. I wonder what new people I will meet and what new adventures we will go on"
