Hello everyone it's time for a new chapter. Last chapter you arrived at Chaldea and met a few new people then disaster strikes in the central command room taking many lives and You,Mash, Clay, and Skylar are trapped inside.

POV: You

Part 1.
I was asleep I think and I didn't feel hot or feel any rumbling. Something was licking my face as I could feel someone shaking me and someone called my name.

"(Y/n) wake up we need to get out of here. Com'n (Y/n) wake up" I heard a guy's voice say as the person shook me.

I started to open my eyes and I saw Skyler shaking me to wake up and Fou liking my face. Both of them then stopped as I sat up from the ground I was on.

"Thank god your up (Y/n), were not in the best predicament at the moment" Skyler says.

"Fou Fou" Fou squeaks.

I look around and I see that Skyler had his magic book that he had when we were in Chaldea during the disaster. It was open and he was carrying it with one hand. I looked behind Skyler to see Clay with a set of duel wield blades in his hands.

They can merge into a double handed sword.

I looked at our surroundings to see that we were in a intersection of a abandoned looking city. The tall buildings looked destroyed and damaged, the sky was grey and black, the streets were empty and the electricity looked out, roads were broken and uneven while abandoned cars and debris were everywhere. The city sounded eerily silent. I stood up and saw that Clay had his back towards me with his swords out and ready to fight. He was facing down the long street where the sky was orange.

"I have a bad feeling about this, someone is watching us" Clay says.

I look upwards and see what looked like an orange arrow coming towards us from the direction of the orange lit sky. Then the arrows turned into more arrows and was coming towards us. We all put our hands in front of us and got down waiting for the arrows to come at us but they didn't. We heard the arrows hitting a piece of metal and looked up to see Mash with a cross shaped shield in a black armored outfit without her glasses. Her shield was preventing the arrows from hitting me, Clay, or Skyler.

"Mash what are you" I say and she cuts me off.

"I will explain everything later, but for the time being everyone please stay down" She says.

The barrage of arrows stops then after a few moments another one begins. I look behind me and I see Clay open up some sort of small portal and put his swords inside then put his hand inside of the portal and took out a bow from the portal.

As the barrage of arrows continued he pulled his bow and aimed it over the shielf towards where he saw the first arrow come from. He then pulled the bow back with nothing loaded in it. Then a black arrow with a green tip and green metal fletching appeared in the bow. He started saying something under his breath and black magic started to swirl around the tip of the arrow. When the barrage of arrows stopped Clay released the arrow. The arrow went towards the top of a building then exploded with a flash of green and pink.

"Looks like someone else was trying to hit the same target that Clay was trying to hit" Skyler says as he observed the smoke at the top of the building.

"What do you mean Skyler?" I asked.

"That explosion wasn't supposed to have pink inside it" Clay states.

"I see" I reply.

"It looks like he retreated" Mash states.

I look at what she was wearing and I was confused on what she was wearing and why she was wearing it, her voice even changed a bit also with more tone in it.

"Umm why are you wearing that?" I ask her.

Mash looks down at what she's wearing "um you mean this?" She questions while pointing at her outfit.

We then heard a high pitch scream come from the street to the right of us before I could reply. Mash then looks at me.

"Master what are your orders" she says and I looked at her with a confused expression "I know this is a odd situation but we will get through this together along with Clay and Skyler"

I look over at my right hand and I saw 3 red markings. From what I was told when I was becoming a candidate for Chaldea that when someone becomes a master they get 3 command seals, it stays that way no matter how many servants a master has. And also even if I all my command seals are used my servants will still be mine and command seals regenerate every 8 hours until I have 3 again.

"Let's head over towards that scream" I tell Mash.

"Hold on a minute before we go" Skyler says to me.

"What is it?" I ask him.

"Is there any type of weapons you know how to use?" He asks me bluntly.

I was taken back by it "why the hell are you asking me that in a dire situation like this?" I question with confusion.

"So I can make you a weapon to help protect yourself, even if a master has a servant or has servants, they can't be your only way of protection" Skyler tells me.

"And the most important reason is that a true master fights along side their servants" Clay adds with a determined expression on his face.

"Those reasons make sense. Okay so I guess a sword, I used to be in kendo before I had to come here" I explain to them.

Skyler nods then starts drawing a very intricate magic circle on the ground in front of us very quickly while muttering words under his breath. I can he was done drawing the circle it glowed red and he looked over at me.

"Give me your hand" Skyler states with his hand out and I gave him my left hand "Clay, give me one of your daggers" he says and Clay gives him one of his white daggers.

Skyler takes the dagger and cuts open my palm letting blood drip on to the magic circle. He then gives Clay back his dagger and heals my palm up.
He then starts doing a incantation, as he speaks a handle of a katana emerges from the ground. Once he finished the incantation all of the katana emerged from the ground and was floating vertically.

"Take it, it's your blade to wield" he tells me while motioning to it.

I hesitantly took the katana then looked at it and unsheathed it a bit looking at its blade. The katana's handle was red and the sheath was black. The blade was red and black like some of those special hand made katana's I've seen. Mash was looking at the blade with a surprised expression.

Your Katana

"I should of expected such a thing from one of Chaldea's most powerful master candidate in the magic category " Mash says with a surprised tone.

"(Y/n), this sword is yours and forever will be yours. Only you and your servants can use this sword. Only someone with your mana can use this sword" Skyler says to me.

"Thanks Skyler, I owe you a lot" I say while bowing.

He puts his free hand in front of him "You don't owe me anything (Y/n), it's what's friends do" he says with a small smile.

We then hear another scream from the street.

"We better get to who ever that is and help them" I say.

Mash, Clay, and Skyler nod. Clay then pulls out his duel wield swords. Mash picks up her shield and we all start running in the direction of the scream.

{Time Skip}

After running down the street for a couple minutes we saw the director being followed by a horde of skeletons. I saw a skeleton jump of a lamp pole to get to the director and she missed her magic shot.

"Mash protect the director" I tell her.

"Yes Senpai" She replies then zooms over to the director and blocks the skeleton from getting to the director.

The director stared at Mash as she took out the skeleton and reeked havoc on the skeletons that was near the the director.

"We will take care of some of the skeletons to help out Mash, you should help us out so you can be the director's hero" Clay says then gives me a wink.

Clay and Skyler then run past the director towards the horde of skeletons. I unsheathed my katana and put the sheath on my waist. A skeleton comes running at the director from the opposite direction that Mash was facing and I chopped it's skull off and it disappeared. The director watched as I took out skeleton after skeleton. After not even 2 minutes of arriving at the scene Me, Mash, Clay, and Skyler took out the entire horde of skeletons that was following the director. I sheathed my katana and walk up to the director with Fou on my shoulder.

"How you holding up beautiful?" I say with a small wave.

She got up with a small blush on her face and ran up to me and started hugging me with her head in my chest.

"Thank you thank you thank you for saving me number 50" She says with her eyes closed and burying her head in my chest.

Me, Mash, Clay, Skyler, and even Fou looked at each other with question marks over our heads not understanding what's happening. I had no clue how to handle this situation.

"Your welcome director, I guess" I say.

She then looks up at me then realizes something and punches me in the face, pushing me away from her while shouting "Get away from me you commoner"

I fell onto my ass and held my left cheek where she punched me. "What the hell was that for?" I shout at the director.

"That's what you get for touching me without permission" Olga states.

"You ran up to me and hugged me" I told her.

"That's besides the point" she says then turns to Mash.

"Director, I'm glad we found you. Are you injured?"Mash says as she runs in front of the Olga and puts her shield down.

"What's the meaning of this?" Olga questions.

"This is Singularity F, Fuyuki 2004. I know it's probably hard for you to believe this but-" Mash explains then Olga cuts her off.

"Your a Demi-Servant aren't you. I can tell just by looking at you. But what I wasn't to know is after so many attempts why did it work this time?" Olga says while putting her hands on her hips.

"I feel that you know that Chalea prepared a servant before hand, this was done for the specific purpose of resolving the investigation of Singularity F. Right before I died, he appeared before me and offered me the contract. In exchange for giving me the abilities of a heroic spirit and a noble phantasm, he wanted me to eliminate the cause of the singularity. It was in that moment that I merged with a servant and became a demi-servant" Mash explains.

Olga then looks at me "then what this commoner became your master" Olga says in a tsundere like tone.

"Yup, I guess that's how it turned out" I replied while scratching the back of my neck.

"I'm sure Mash picked (Y/n) as her master after becoming a demi-servant for a logical reason" Skyler says as he and Clay sat on a piece of uneven road.

"Mash probably likes him" Clay says making Mash's cheeks pink.

Then a ringing tone came from my wrist watch that was given to me. I tapped it and a hologram appeared in front of me. The hologram was of Dr. Roman in a chair.

"Yes I finally got through, are you reading me? Can you hear me?" Dr. Roman says.

"Now way it's Dr. Roman" I say ads I looked at the hologram.

"(Y/n), Mash, Clay, and Skyler, as expected you guys were caught up in the ray shift, I'm suptised you guys stayed concious without being in a coffin" Dr. Roman says.

Olga then moves me out of the so she could 'talk' to Dr. Roman.

"Why have you taken control Romani?" Olga asks with her arms crossed in a annoyed tone

"Ahhhh" Dr. Roman says freaking out "how are you still alive?" He asks.

"What is that supposed to mean?" She asks leaning ford a bit "why is the head of the medical section in the commanders chair? What happened to Leff" Olga questions while pointing at him.

"Uh, Professor Leff was caught up in that explosion, it's unlikely thst he survived" Dr. Roman says with his head down.

"Oh no" Olga says while shaking

"Good that he's dead, I felt a dark aura coming off him" Clay states getting Olga's attention.

"What did you just say?" Olga questions.

"I said that it's good that he's dead, I felt a evil and dark aura coming off of him" Clay says.

"Why would you disrespect someone like him who did so many things to make sure that the human race doesn't go extinct" Olga shouts at him.

"How do YOU know that what he was doing was to make sure that the human race doesn't go extinct? How do you know that the Professor Leff we all knew wasn't just all facade because I could feel the evil radiating off of him and aura isn't something you can cover up" Clay says sternly trying not to explode with anger.

I was holding Olga back by her waist from going after Clay. "Director he has had a point" I say as I stuggled to hold her back.

"How would you know who he truly was? You have only been around him for not even a week and I've been around him for years" Olga shouts.

"Because as I said, Aura isn't something you can fake" Clay said and stood up from where he was sitting "He's probably the one that caused this disaster to happen. No, I'm sure he caused this to happen"

"No he wouldn't of, he wouldn't do such a thing" Olga says with a tear going down her face as she tried even harder to get out of my grasp

"I bet on my life as a mage that Professor Leff us the cause of the disaster. If I'm right I'm right, if I'm wrong then I will never cast another spell again and never touch my weapons again" Clay states.

"You wouldn't" Skyler says not believing him.

"I will and I'm serious. If I'm wrong then once we get out of this I will walk strait out the front door of Chaldea" Clay says.

"Fine then, I don't care if you leave, that will be one less life I need to worry about" Olga says.

"If that's how you truly feel then. I'm going to go take a breather" Clay says then walks a behind a large pile of rubble.

"I'm going go talk to him" Skyler says then walks behind the pile of rubble that Clay walked behind.

"Are you okay Director?" I ask her.

"Yeah, hold me like this for a little bit longer would you please" Olga says as I was practically hugging her from behind with my arms around her waist.

"As you wish Olga" I say and I see a small smile grow on her face.

"Ahem. I'm still here you know" Dr. Roman says and me and Olga look at the hologram of Dr. Roman.

Olga realizes then pushes me away from her and I fall on my ass again.

"Please continue" Olga says.

"The reason I have been entrusted with operational command is because there isn't anyone else that out ranked me" Dr. Roman explains.

"Then what happened to the master candidates? What happened to the 47 people who were in coffins" Olga asks.

"Everyone of them are in critical condition" Dr. Roman says.

"Stop messing around. Transfer them to Cyropreservstion at once. Our top priority is keeping them alive" Olga orders Dr. Roman.

"Director...." Mash says.

"As long as they don't die this can all be justified later. 47 lives are at stake. I refuse to have their blood on my hands" Olga says.

"Umm director... I think that you should give what Clay said some thinking" I tell her not expecting a good response.

"Why should I listen to anything that boy says?" Olga tells me.

I stay composed and responded "it seems that Clay knows what he's saying. He put his pride as a mage on the line. It seems that he has more experience with chaotic unexpected situations and Magic more than anyone in Chaldea. I would say Skylar is the same way. You may know more about magic but for all we know he could of experience so much with magic that none of us would understand" I explain.

"Fine then I will give it some thought. But for one minute if your expecting me to take what he said lightly then I'll throw you out the doors of Chaldea" She states.

"I-I understand director" I say hestitently as I was getting on her bad side.

"Call me Marie or Olga, Olga will be more proper in public" Olga says.

"I-I understand Olga" I say.
