Ruler had left, and everyone was still in the guild hall. All except Natsu, because he was in the infirmary. Even with Wendy and Chelia's healing, Natsu still wasn't back to his normal self. Lucy was waiting in the infirmary, sitting right next to Natsu's bed. Meanwhile, everyone else was in the main area, starting to pack up so they could head out for the abandoned guild hall.

Since Ruler left, Asuka's legs were still shaking, even though she was sitting on a bench. Ruler was way more scary than she thought he would be. She was thankful that he didn't realize Mordred was there, however she was now scared of what a person like Ruler would do if he saw a servant who wasn't supposed to be there. The thought scared her, making her want to cry.

Assassin: "Mommy, are you okay?"

Assassin appeared next to Asuka and sat down with her.

Asuka: "I-I've never been more scared in my life"

Assassin hugged Asuka's arm.

Assassin: "As long as I'm your servant, I'll protect Mommy with my life"

Asuka rubbed Assassin's head a bit, making Assassin snuggle up closer with her. Erza walked over to them, along with Mavis.

Erza: "Asuka, we need to discuss the relationship between Saber and Mordred"

Asuka: "You guys already know what happened based on what Mordred said. And in Arthurian legend, King Arthur was the one who killed Mordred. So we can't really stop them from fighting"

Mavis: "I am considering having command seals used on them, to keep them from killing each other"

Erza: "However it's mainly Mordred with that bloodlust, so she may need to be the one who gets the command seal"

Asuka: "No, I'm not going to force her to work with the person who killed her, that's just cruel"

Erza: "They're not alive anymore, what happened in the past is still in the past"

Asuka stood up, scowling at Erza.

Asuka: "How dare you say they're not alive anymore!! They may have been summoned through magic, but they're just as human as you or me!!"

Erza: "They don't even belong in this time period, and they were summoned to help us win this war. Saber herself told me that if the servants die, they will simply be called back by the Grail, and summoned again in another grail war"

Asuka: "What does that matter?! You saw how crushed Natsu was when he thought Berserker was dead. They're not just our servants, they're our friends. And if we're going to win this war, we have to work together as equals, not master and servant!!"

Mavis: "Please try to understand what we're saying"

Asuka: "Oh I know what you're saying, but I won't do it!!"

Mavis turned around.

Mavis: "We should transfer your curse seals to someone like Laxus or Mirajane. Picking you for this may have been a mistake"

Those were the last words out of Mavis before she floated away. Those words shot through Asuka like arrows. All she wanted was Mavis to trust her, and now she regretted ever letting her be a master. Asuka grabbed her scythe and ran out of the guild hall, with Assassin not far behind her. Asuka kept running and running until she reached the entrance to Magnolia.

Assassin: "Mommy, I know you're upset, but they're right. We're nothing but mana and the soul of the spirit we once were"

Asuka: "Didn't you hear what she said. She was going to take these seals away, and that would mean you and Mordred would disappear. I'm not letting that happen"

Mordred suddenly formed in front of them, in her full armor.

Mordred: "Going somewhere?"

Asuka: "Yeah, we're taking the battle to the Black Faction"

Mordred: "Alone?"

Asuka: "W-We'll be fine. We have the worlds best assassin and the rightful King of Camelot"

Both Assassin and Mordred blushed a tiny bit at Asuka's compliments.

Mordred: "Alright, Master, let's head out"

Hey everyone! I know this was a shorter chapter compared to most, however I think this part needs that cliffhanger at the end. Need to leave you all in suspense. :p
