Asuka: "What?! Why is Ruler here!?"

Erza: "Whatever the reason my be, Mordred should hide"

Mordred: "Fine, but Ruler can sense spirits"

Saber: "Then we may have to pretend Mordred is an enemy servant, if Ruler hasn't already met with the enemy"

Mordred: "Oh you'd like that wouldn't you!!"

Berserker formed behind Mordred and had to hold her back.

Asuka: "Mordred, calm down! Just go into your astral form and wait until Ruler leaves"

Mordred: "Fine, but I'd gladly pretend to be an enemy servant just to kick father's ass!!"

Mordred disappeared as she went into her astral form. Everyone else made their way down to the main entrance. The doors opened by themselves as Ruler walked inside.

Natsu: "Wait... that's Ruler?!"

Ruler was tall with short blonde hair. His eyes were blood red. He was wearing a white shirt with a black jacket over it. He had long black pants on as well. He had a very condescending but confident grin on his face, however it could've also been pity.

Ruler: "Greetings, mongrels. I am Ruler of this Great Holy Grail War"

Natsu: "Who the hell are you calling a mongrel?!"

Ruler gave Natsu a very nasty look.

Ruler: "You filth, do you have any idea who I am?"

Natsu: "How the hell should I know, we just met"

Ruler grinned.

Ruler: "Forgive me, I haven't given you my true name. Normally, I wouldn't even bother. But I can sense all of you are powerful. So you're worthy of at least that"

Ruler's clothes changed into a golf armor with a little blue. His blonde hair grew spiky as well.

Ruler: "My name is Gilgamesh, the top heroic spirit and the greatest king to ever exist"

Mavis flew over to Ruler, landing on the ground right in front of him. Seeing the short Mavis look up at the tall Ruler almost made Asuka chuckle.

Mavis: "Greetings Ruler, the red faction welcomes you"

Ruler: "I see you have quite the selection of servants. I see Hercules, Chiron, oh, and even King Arthur herself. A fine collection of heroes indeed"

Wendy: "H-How did you know their names?!"

Ruler: "Ruler's have the ability to see the true identity of a servant. On another note, you're a little young for a master. You look weak"

Chelia stood in front of Wendy with an angry look on her face.

Chelia: "Say that again, I dare you"

Wendy had to hold Chelia back from attacking Ruler.

Mavis did her best to try and change the subject.

Mavis: "Excuse me for asking, but why have you come to see us?"

Ruler: "Just to make sure the red faction is abiding by the rules of the Grail War is all. Mongrels need to be checked on"

Natsu: "I said stop calling us that!! You're really pissing me off!!"

Ruler turned to Natsu, who had his fist engulfed in flames.

Ruler: "It is unwise to start a fight with me, mongrel"

Natsu: "You don't look so tough!! I bet I could take you down easily!"

Erza: "Natsu! Stop this instant!"

Ruler: "Cocky bastard, huh. Then I guess I have no choice. It's been a while since I've been able to fight someone. Fine, let's take this outside. But I'll beat you without lifting a finger"

Natsu: "I'd like to see you try!!"

Gray: "Dumbass... he's going to get his ass kicked"

They all made their way outside, in front of the guild hall. Ruler turned to Caster.

Ruler: "Put up an illusion spell will you? We don't want others seeing"

Caster looked at Chelia for permission.

Chelia: "Go ahead"

Caster put up the illusion spell, as well as a barrier to keep the battle from getting out of hand.

Ruler: "I'm feeling extra generous today, so I'll allow you to use Berserker as well"

Berserker formed next to Natsu, wielding his giant cleaver.

Natsu: "Ready Berserker?"

Berserker nodded his head and grunted with a grin on his face.

Ruler: "Let me see what the mages of the era can do"

Berserker disappear from everyone's line of sight, which even caught Natsu off guard. Suddenly, from above, Berserker slashed his cleaver at Ruler. However as he was about to hit Ruler, a yellow circle appeared right next to Ruler.

A spear then shot out of it at high speeds, hitting Berserker in the head. Berserker fell dead to the ground. Everyone was frozen from fear. Ruler had just taken out their most durable servant in one hit. And they were sure Berserker was dead.

Natsu: "BERSERKER!!!!"

Nastu dashed towards Ruler with his body engulfed in flames.

Natsu: "Fire Dragon Sword Horn!!!"

As Natsu went for his attack, a mace shot out of the yellow ring again, hitting him in the stomach with immense speed and sending him flying back into the magic barrier. The force was so great that the impact broke the barrier.

Lucy: "NATSU!!!!"

Lucy and Wendy ran to Natsu, hoping to help him. The ring around Ruler disappeared as he started laughing.

Ruler: "That was it? The mighty Hercules taken down in one hit, and your so called ace has now been taken down too. You're all pathetic"

Erza wanted to form her sword and try to attack Ruler, but she realized it would be pointless.

Wendy managed to heal Natsu, as he slowly regained consciousness. Natsu looked like he was ready to kill Ruler.

Natsu: "You killed Berserker!!"

Ruler walked passed Berserker's dead body and stood in front of Natsu.

Ruler: "He was weak, so he died. I showed you mercy, you should be thankful of that fact, mongrel"

Ruler's eye grew wide as he felt a strong magical presence from behind him. He turned to see Berserker slowly start to stand up, even though he had a spear in his head.

Ruler: "W-What the hell?!"

Berserker's body started to glow red as he pulled the spear out of his head. The wound steamed until it was fully healed.

Ruler got his composure back, realizing what this ability was. He turned to Berserker with a cocky grin.

Ruler: "God Hand: The Twelve Labors. That's your Noble Phantasm. In life, you were given twelve impossible tasks, however after completing them, you gained an extra life for each. You can die up to twelve times before being put down for good. Fitting for a Berserker"

Berserker appeared in front of Ruler and slammed the side of his cleaver into Ruler. Ruler got sent flying into the sky. However Berserker jumped into the air and caught Ruler by his jacket. He tossed Ruler back to the ground, only himself landing a few feet away.

Ruler, with a pissed off expression, held his hand out, as his arm started to glow.

Ruler: "By order of command seal, I command you to stop attacking me!"

Berserker suddenly stopped in his tracks. It looked like he was struggling, however he wasn't moving. Ruler stood up and brushed some dust off of his shoulder.

Ruler: "Since I'm supposed to stay neutral in this war, I won't kill anyone. But know this. If you ever try to take me down, I'll kill all of you and everyone in this pathetic town. I will kill you all, mongrels"

For all you Fate fans, I bet this was a shock, huh? Definitely a different spin on the Ruler class. No offense to the original Ruler, Joan of Arc, but Gilgamesh is a bit more powerful XD
