'Rick! Isa!' Felicia's voice echoed in the back of Rick's head.

Rick tightly hugged Isabella as he and the others got surrounded by Ardeth's shadows.

' Rick! Isa!' Seeing Felicia holding her hand out to Rick while tears fell from her emerald green eyes broke his heart.

Rick closed his blue eyes, held his breath, and bite his lips since he felt his whole body get tighter since Ardeth had his shadows teleport them out of the ruins of Hamunaptra.

' Rick! Isa!' Felicia's heartbreaking voice caused tears to fall from Rick's closed eyes.

Rick felt his whole body get lighter and back to normal, causing him to open his blue eyes. He lets go of Isabella, and he steps away, looking at his surroundings. He blinks when he sees that the ruins of Hamunaptra are gone.

" No," Rick mouths out when he realizes that there is nothing in front of him.

Remembering Felicia's frightened face and Beni's grinning smile as they disappeared in front of Rick made him tremble in anger.

" No!" Rick furiously shouts, and he runs towards the spot that was once the ruins of Hamunaptra.

" Ricardo!" Isabella cried out when she saw Rick running. Her heart then ached when she saw her younger brother on his knees, and he started digging the desert sand.

" No! No! No! They can't simply vanish!" Rick shouted while throwing the desert sand behind him.

Isabella lets go of Ardeth, and she begins to run towards Rick.

" Rick! Ricardo!" Isabella called out to Rick, but he ignored her.

" Felix!" Rick shouted while furiously digging a hole in front of him.

" Felix! Come back! Come back..." Rick started to cry. Images of Felicia crying and holding her hand out to him got vivid each time he thought about his younger sister.

Isabella stops running, and she stands behind Rick. Her dark brown eyes saddened when she saw her younger brother's body shaking severely.

Rick's blue eyes then narrowed when he remembered Beni widely grinning at him. He knew Beni was mocking him, thinking that Rick would die while he survives with Death's incarnate by his side.

" I am so going to kill him when I see him," Rick bitterly mumbled.

Isabella kneels behind Rick, and she hugs him.

Rick's blue eyes blinked, and he turned his head back, seeing Isabella hugging him.

" We-We need to save her," Isabella mumbled while hiding her face against Rick's shoulder and her hands tightly grasping his shirt.

Rick gently placed his hands on top of Isabella's, and he lightly grasped them.

While the two siblings were comforting each other, the others were trying to comprehend what had happened.

Ardeth stood there with his glowing violet eyes, intently staring at Isabella and Rick since he still could not believe that Imhotep roughly took Felicia away from her loved ones.

Jonathan and Bernie are speechless while staring at one another in disbelief.

Meanwhile, Evelyn is trying to figure out how an Ancient entity like Imhotep, who was known as an infamous figure in Ancient Egypt, came into existence in modern times.

Evelyn's Hazel-colored eyes widened in realization when she remembered that Felicia was the last person holding the key that could open any locks in Hamunaptra.

" I cannot believe it!" Evelyn shouted, grabbing Jonathan and Bernie's attention.

" What's wrong, Evie?" Jonathan asked, looking and sounding concerned.

" I finally know the reason why Imhotep took Felicia!" Evelyn exclaimed, causing Rick and Isabella to turn their gaze at her.

" You know that bastard's name?" Rick asked with a raised eyebrow.

Evelyn opened her mouth to say something, but Isabella cuts her off.

" That friend of yours, Gabor, said his name remember," Isabella reminds Rick.

" Ugh! Beni Gabor is not my friend," Rick bitterly responded.

" And what is your reason?" Ardeth asked Evelyn with his eyes still glowing vibrant purple color while intently staring at Isabella.

" Felicia was the last person to hold the key that can open all locks in Hamunaptra. She must have been the one that awakened that madman! Why else would he take her of all people?" Evelyn explained.

Rick's blue eyes narrowed when he saw and heard that Evelyn was blaming Felicia for what had happened. He gently removes Isabella's hands from him, and he stands up.

Ardeth hummed when he saw Rick walking past him to get to Evelyn. He then looked away and walked towards Isabella, still kneeling on the sandy ground.

Isabella silently and worriedly stared at Rick. Her dark brown eyes blinked when she saw a hand in front of her. She slowly lifts her head, and she blushes when she sees that the hand belongs to Ardeth.

" Thank you," Isabella whispers while taking Ardeth's hand and standing up.

Isabella's dark brown eyes blinked when she noticed that Ardeth's eyes were still glowing and violet-colored. She opened her mouth to say something but stopped when she heard Rick shouting.

" I cannot believe you will blame my sister for what just happened!" Rick snapped at Evelyn.

Evelyn's hazel-colored eyes blinked, looking confused when she saw Rick staring at her furiously.

" I am only stating the facts, Rick. I gave the key to Felicia, and for him to get awakened, she must have unlocked his sarcophagus," Evelyn explains to Rick.

" We do not know if Felicia awakened him or not! Warden Hassan was with her. He must have taken the key from her grasp. That greedy bastard would do anything to get filthy rich," Rick bitterly speaks.

" Then why would he take Felicia if you say Wardan Hassan unlocked the sarcophagus?" Evelyn asked.

Rick angrily shakes, and he stares at her furiously.

" He kept calling Felix, Bahiti. I don't know who is Bahiti, but that bastard seems intent on believing that my sister and this Bahiti are the same people," Rick mumbled.

Evelyn opened her mouth to say something, but Isabella cuts her off.

" Evelyn, please, stop. Felicia saved your life. It would be best if you remembered that," Isabella speaks to Evelyn while sadly and angrily staring at her.

Evelyn stood there, looking and feeling conflicted.

" You know if Serena was here, she could have thought of a way to help us get Felicia back," Jonathan tells Evelyn.

" Serena was sick, remember!" Evelyn snapped at Jonathan, causing the older male to stare at her with a conflicting gaze.

" Why are you being defensive? Who is Serena?" Bernie asked since he didn't like how Evelyn snapped at Jonathan since he noticed the other male twitched.

" Serena is my younger sister and Evelyn's younger twin," Jonathan explained.

" We are fraternal. There is nothing identical about us. And besides, I told you, Jon. She didn't want to go because she felt sick," Evelyn responded.

" The last time I spoke with Serena through the phone, she sounded fine to me," Jonathan retorts. " I still don't know why you asked me to assist you on this expedition when I was living in London at the time. You and Serena both live in Cairo. She would have been the better option to go with you and keep you safe," He intently stares at Evelyn.

Tears begin to well up in Evelyn's Hazel-colored eyes, and she stares at Jonathan with a furious gaze.

" It is always Serena this and Serena that. She was never sick! I didn't want her to get recognition if we discovered something amazing. For once, I want to get the attention and show the Curators of the Museum that I am the better fit to work for them and not her!" Evelyn shouts while tears start to fall from her Hazel-colored eyes.

Jonathan stared at Evelyn in disbelief.

" I don't know who Serena is, but if she had so much experience in this field than Jonathan, no offense," Rick glanced at Jonathan, who shrugged. " She could have been so much help for us if you pushed your jealousy to the side. Felicia's life could have gotten saved," Rick sternly speaks to Evelyn.

Evelyn opened her mouth to say something, but she stopped when she heard a thumping sound and Isabella screaming in concern.

" Ardeth! ¡Mi amor!" Isabella shouts when she sees Ardeth faint, fall to the ground, and pant heavily. [AN: My Love in Spanish.]

Everyone turned their gaze to Ardeth, looking and feeling a mixture of emotions.

" Didn't he faint when he teleported all of you to Felicia and me the first time?" Rick asked, looking and sounding concerned.

Isabella nods her head in response while gently putting her hands on Ardeth's forehead and neck.

" His forehead is getting hot and sweaty, and he seems to be breathing heavily," Isabella tells everyone, looking and sounding concerned.

" We need to head back to civilization," Rick firmly speaks.

" But how?! There is nothing around us to take us back to civilization?" Jonathan asked.

Soon a bright light shined upon them, causing everyone to lift their heads, and they see a medium-sized airplane circling them.

" And there is the answer to your question," Rick widely smiled, wondering if Lady Luck is by his side.
