The dark-lit hallway got silent due to everyone in the room staring at Imhotep with mixed emotions.

Tears welled up in David's dark brown eyes when he saw the Scarabs eat the delicate flesh of Henderson's wrinkled body, and his best friend disappeared right in front of him.

David's right hand tightly grasped the gun he was holding. He slowly lifted his head and stared at Imhotep with a furious gaze.

" You monster!" David shouted with tears falling from his dark brown eyes while aiming his gun at Imhotep, and he started to shoot his best friend's murderer.

Imhotep calmly stared at David when he saw the other male start to shoot him. He felt the bullets hit him on the chest, which caused him to step back a little. He walked backward, allowing the other male to use up all of his ammo.

Imhotep winced a little when he felt one bullet, and another kept hitting him on his chest, causing blood to start dripping out of his wound.

' I now understand how Bahiti felt when she was lying on the ground and staring at me helplessly and scared,' Imhotep tells himself while remembering Felicia's watery emerald green eyes intently staring at him.

David's watery dark brown eyes intently stared at Imhotep's light brown eyes. His eyes blinked when he heard his gun make a clicking sound, letting him and the others know that he was out of bullets.

Imhotep firmly stood on the sandy ground as he began to make a coughing/choking sound, which grabbed everyone's attention.

" Did David finally defeat him?" Beni softly asked Demir in Modern Arabic.

Demir briefly glanced at Beni, and he then stared at Imhotep's back.

" Something tells me David is going to die a much painful death than Henderson had," Demir softly responded in Modern Arabic.

David opened his mouth to say something, but he stopped when he saw the wound on Imhotep's chest start to heal despite seeing some blood dripping onto the sandy ground from the injury.

' How?!' David mentally shouted in English, thinking he had killed Imhotep by shooting at his chest multiple times.

Imhotep widely smirked as he leaned his head back, and he started to spit the bullets out of his system towards David's direction, which created a gunshot effect.

David did not have any time to dodge or react when he felt a bullet after a bullet hit him at specific parts of his body.

Beni and Demir's eyes widened in horror as they watched David get shot multiple times. They noticed that the bullets hit the other male on the legs, arms, stomach region, and chest near the heart.

Tears started to fall from David's dark brown eyes when he felt unbearable pain all over his body. He felt himself get heavier as he began to fall to the sandy ground.

Imhotep, Beni, and Demir silently watched David fall to the sandy ground. Beni and Demir immediately noticed that the Scarabs started to create a pathway for Imhotep when they saw the scary-looking male begin to walk towards David's dying body.

David's vision begins to get heavy due to him crying while in pain when he sees Imhotep walking towards him.

Imhotep stopped walking as he stood beside David, and he stared down at him.

David's watery, scared dark brown eyes intently stared at Imhotep's light brown eyes.

Imhotep roughly puts his right sandal on David's bleeding chest, causing the other male to cough and blood to drip out of his mouth.

" Please Have Mercy," David heavily breathes in English while looking at Imhotep with a scared gaze.

" Have Mercy?" Imhotep asked in English while raising an eyebrow.

" Did you show any mercy when you use that deadly weapon against a defenseless woman?" Imhotep speaks in English while motioning to the gun near David.

David stared at Imhotep with pain and conflicting gaze.

" She must have asked you for mercy? But, you left her to die instead!" Imhotep furiously shouts while his right arm starts to transform into a solid sandy sword.

Beni and Demir paled when they saw Imhotep holding his sword-like arm, and in a swift motion, the other male cuts David's head off of his body.

David's head rolled to the side, and before he died, he stared at Imhotep with teary eyes.

Imhotep blankly stared at David's head, seeing a blue orb float out of the male's body.

Before the blue orb could escape, Imhotep grabbed it with his right hand, placed it in his mouth, and he ate David's soul, feeling himself get much more robust and energized.

Imhotep slowly turns around as he snaps his finger, and the Scarabs start to devour David's dead body and head.

Beni and Demir stood there as they began to realize that Imhotep's attention was now on them since they were the only ones left in the hallway with the deadly male.

Imhotep begins to walk towards Beni and Demir like a predator ready to attack and eat its prey.

Tears welled up in Beni's blue eyes, and he began to pray out loud.

"May the good Lord protect and watch over me, as a shepherd watches over his flock!" Beni prayed when he saw Imhotep walking in his and Demir's direction.

Demir glanced at Beni, thinking that the other male was an idiot and that they would die a quick death for spouting nonsense.

" There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet!" Beni shouted in Modern Arabic.

Demir looks back at Imhotep, and he notices that the other male is staring at Beni with a confused and furious gaze.

" I beg the Buddha protect me. I beg not!" Beni shouted in Chinese.

Demir began to panic when he noticed that Imhotep looked annoyed and ready to kill him and Beni.

" Do not hide your face from me. Oh, Imhotep! Do not deny me of your protection!" Beni shouted in Hebrew.

Demir and Imhotep immediately recognized the words that Beni was saying.

' That bastard knew what he was doing! He just blurted out the Prayer of Slavery,' Demir tells himself, and he has decided to do the same thing.

" Do not hide your face from me. Oh, Imhotep! Do not deny me of your protection!" Demir shouted in Hebrew.

Imhotep stops walking, and he stares at Demir and Beni from head to toe.

' This is the first that I have slaves,' Imhotep tells himself while eyeing Demir and Beni.

' Then again, I need help to watch over my Bahiti while I continue to slaughter those that have hurt my Desert Flower,' Imhotep firmly tells himself.

" You two!" Imhotep firmly speaks in Modern Arabic.

Demir and Beni immediately get stiffed when they hear Imhotep speaking to them.

" What are your names?" Imhotep asked in Modern Arabic.

" My name is Demir Sezin," Demir formally introduced himself to Imhotep in Modern Arabic.

" And-And my name is Beni Gabor," Beni nervously introduced himself to Imhotep in Modern Arabic.

Imhotep nods his head in response.

" My name is Imhotep. And you two will be serving my Queen and me from now on," Imhotep firmly speaks to Demir and Beni in Modern Arabic.

Demir and Beni briefly stared at one another before nodding their heads in response.

" Come with me. I shall take you to my Queen," Imhotep puts his hands on Demir and Beni's shoulders, and the three males disappeared in a gust of sand.

However, once Imhotep and his servants arrived, they were greeted with an empty sarcophagus.
