The O'Connell siblings, Carnahan siblings, Ardeth, and Bernard silently and cautiously looked at their surroundings as they walked through the dark-lit hallways of Hamunaptra.

Evelyn was in the front of the group with Rick since she was holding the map, and Rick was holding a torch so that Evelyn could see the contents of the map correctly.

Behind the first couple are Isabella and Ardeth. Isabella was pretending to be scared so that she can have an excuse to hug Ardeth's arm, wanting to take advantage of the situation. On the other hand, Ardeth did not seem to mind, internally enjoying their closeness since the hallway has gotten narrow.

Behind the second couple are Jonathan and Bernard. Jonathan nervously stared at his surroundings, hearing strange sounds and believing that the walls are getting closer to them and that they were about to get squish to death. Meanwhile, Bernard reassured Jonathan that the walls were only getting smaller as they continue walking this hallway.

Behind the third couple is Felicia, looking at her surroundings with a conflicting gaze. She did not know why, but something is telling her that they were heading to a dead-end. She soon stops walking, and she noticed that the others were continuing walking down the hallway.

" You guys!" Felicia calls out, causing Jonathan and Bernard to stop walking since they were the closes, and they turned around to stare at her.

" What's wrong, Felicia?" Jonathan calls out, causing the others to stop walking, and they turn to stare at them.

" What's the holdup?" Rick shouts from behind everyone.

" I think we are heading to a dead-end! The walls are getting smaller and smaller!" Felicia shouts in response.

Evelyn looks down at her map and begins to wonder if she was holding the map wrong. She turns the map upside down, and she carefully studies the contents.

Felicia looks away, and she turns her gaze to the right. Her emerald green eyes blinked when she sees a hieroglyphic of Anubis on the wall.

' This hieroglyphic, it is of Anubis. The Egyptian god of mummification and the afterlife. Not only that, but he is also the patron god of lost souls and the helpless,' Felicia tells herself.

Ardeth hummed when he also noticed a hieroglyphic of his godly father. He wonders if his father is unknowingly giving him and the others a sign that they were heading to a dead-end since they are currently lost and helpless.

Felicia didn't know why, but she felt her body move on its own. Her right arm slowly moved towards the hieroglyphic of Anubis. She then touched the imagery with the palm of her hand.

Felicia held her breath when she felt a shock of electricity all over her body. Soon the ground beneath her feet started to shake.

" What is going on?" Evelyn asked, lifting her head, and her Hazel eyes blinked when she sees Felicia touching the hieroglyphic of Anubis.

" What did you do?!" Evelyn shouts, causing Felicia to pull her hand away immediately.

" I-I," Felicia stuttered, looking and feeling confused since she doesn't even know what came of her to do what she did.

" Did-Did Felicia unknowingly triggered a booby trap?" Isabella asked, for once looking and genuinely scared for her younger sister's life.

As a response to Isabella's question, Felicia felt the ground beneath her feet get lighter and lighter. Soon a hole appeared, and she started to fall.

Everyone's eyes widened in horror when they start to realize that Felicia is probably falling to her death. Rick slowly gives the torch to Evelyn.

" Felix!!!/Felicia!!!" Rick and Isabella cried out in unison, and Rick started to run towards Felicia, with Isabella following behind him.

A tear escaped from Felicia's emerald green eyes, believing that she is going to die. She felt her whole body weight going down due to the pressure of the hole beneath her.

" Rick!!! Isa!!!" A scream escaped Felicia's lips, and she held her hand out to Rick since he was closed to her vicinity.

Rick held his hand out to Felicia, their fingers barely touched, and their eyes widened in horror as they watched one another disappeared into the darkness.

" FELICIA!!!" Rick cried out. He felt his body about to lean forward, looking ready to jump into the hole and save Felicia.

" RICARDO!!" Isabella cried out, seeing Rick about to fall. She ran up to him, and her hand tightly grasp the back of his shirt as she tries to use all of her strength to pull them back to safety.

Ardeth's dark eyes turned into a violet-purple color as he held his hand out to them, using his shadows to pull the two siblings to safety. He then used his darknesses to cushion their fall as the two siblings now sat on the sandy ground.

Isabella tightly hugged Rick while tears fell from her chocolate brown eyes. Her hands shakily grasped her younger brother's shirt.

Rick silently stared at the black hole with a neutral gaze. He cannot help but blame himself that what happened to Felicia was his fault.

Ardeth walks up to the black hole, and he silently stares into the darkness. His violet-purple eyes glowed when he sees Felicia unconscious but breathing. He can see her clearly due to being the son of Anubis.

" Felicia," Ardeth whispers, causing the two siblings to turn their gaze to him. " She still breathing," He turns around to stare at them.

Isabella's chocolate brown eyes intently stared at Ardeth's violet-purple eyes.

" How are you so sure she is alive?!" Rick asked with a snap, momentarily forgetting that Ardeth is a demigod.

Isabella turns her gaze to Rick.

" I believe him," Isabella whispers, causing Rick to turn his gaze to look at her.

Rick's blue eyes intently stared at Isabella's chocolate brown eyes.

" How-How do we get to Felix?" Rick asked, for the first time, feeling scared.

Evelyn walks up to Rick and Isabella, and she kneels beside them.

" Rick. We can use a rope to rappel down into the tunnels to get to Felicia," Evelyn gently placed her hands on Rick's face, causing him to look at her.

Jonathan warily stared at the dark hole with Bernard holding the back of his shirt, not wanting to risk the other male falling to his death.

" It will take us hours or even days to get to Felicia! This hole looks too deep," Jonathan mumbled, looking and sounding concerned.

" I don't care how long it will take us to climb down that hole, Jon! Felix is my baby sister, and we are going to save her," Rick snapped as he closed his blue eyes, allowing Evelyn to comfort him.

Jonathan blushed, looking and feeling embarrassed. Bernard silently comforts the other male as he glanced at the black hole.

' Please. Would you please not go to the light to my Mom? I cannot risk losing you too!' Bernard silently tells himself as he begins to pray to his mother, Diana Burns, to motivate his dear friend to return to life if Felicia ever plans to die.
