Fall to Ruin

A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.

Groaning from hitting the tiled floor hard, (f/n) was thankful she fell on her bottom and not her head. Her tailbone felt a little sore, but she imagined that the pain wouldn't last long since it didn't hurt too badly. Frankly, she was more concerned about the weight on top of her. Tristan's head was pressed into her midsection while the rest of him was spread out among her lower half. Luckily, the towel she just had put up on the pole for him had fallen as well and landed on top of him, which spared her from seeing anything she didn't want to view.

There remained the fact, though, that the piece of garbage was still lying on top of her, practically naked. She tried not to think about what was touching her left leg, and she somehow managed to keep herself from vomiting. A little bile rose in her mouth, and she forced herself to swallow it back down. "... W-What happened?" she asked, a slight stutter from containing her rage.

A groan left him, and he picked himself up. She instantly averted her eyes and tried to ignore how his hands now rested on either side of her hips. It was so tempting to knee him in the chin in that moment. "Sorry, (f/n). I slipped." Even if he managed to make his voice sound sincere, she knew that he had slipped on purpose. The timing was too perfect.

"Right ... Well, can you please get off of me?" she asked, still keeping her eyes off of him. Tristan blinked and instantly apologized before he sat up more and wrapped the towel around his waist.

"Sorry!" he apologized again, though, sounding more embarrassed that time. "You can look now." Truthfully, he wanted her to glance at him nude. Hesitantly, her eyes met his.

"I thought that you were going to keep your trunks on?" She raised a brow. "What happened?"

"Well, I figured I might clean my whole self off if you weren't going to join me. I was just going to keep them on to be respectful." (F/n) hummed in response and sighed. Tristan picked himself up to his feet and held a hand out to her. Reluctantly, she took it. Once she was standing, he kept his hand around hers. "Anyway, I should get ready, then, if they're closing the place soon."

"Yeah." She went to pull her hand away, but he continued to hold onto it.

"Really, I'm sorry about that. You're still willing to meet up with me again, right?" Tristan looked hopeful but also scared. Not that she cared; she knew that it was an act. If anything, he probably was pissed that nothing else happened when he had landed on her naked.

"I ... Yeah, it was an accident." She somehow mustered a smile, and he returned the gesture. His thumb brushed over the back of her hand, and she really wished that it was Lee's hand rather than his. Lee was comforting; Tristan was revolting.

"Thank you." He squeezed her hand. "I'll be ready soon." She nodded and went to pull away only to feel him tug her towards him. Once more, she found his lips pressed against hers. After this, she really was going to need a shower. When she didn't kiss back, he ended the kiss after a brief time and appeared concerned. "Right. Too soon." No doubt he was waiting for some confirmation that she was fine with the kiss, but she wasn't.

"It ..." She trailed off and sighed. (F/n) summoned a smile and forced herself to hold both of his hands. "... Just get ready, will you?" After she gave his hands a light squeeze, she moved them back and stepped away from him before she turned to leave.

"(F/n)?" She glanced over her right shoulder. "Can we still meet for coffee next Thursday?"

Giving him an amused look, she responded, "Only if you promise not to fall on me."

Laughing lightly and looking relieved, he nodded. "Promise."

"Then, sure." She turned back around and left, nausea in her stomach. Hopefully, Lee had found some evidence while she had been away. Much to her relief, she didn't have to wait too long, and Tristan and she left the pool before the lights were turned off. The janitor hadn't even come back yet. Once they were out of the community center, she tried to tell Tristan that she'd be fine on her way back, but he insisted that he walk her to the café. Reluctantly, she let him.

Between them, there was some conversation. Tristan again apologized about the incident in the showers, and she reassured him that all was well. He brought up how he'd make up for it at the coffee shop the next week, and she simply mentioned she expected a cinnamon roll in payment. A light laugh parted from him, and he agreed to that. The whole time, they were holding hands, and she imagined that he was quite happy about that.

Reaching the café, she couldn't be happier because she could get rid of him. When she felt him tug on her hand a little, she had a feeling about what he was planning. Swiftly, she lifted up her right hand and touched her fingers to his lips. A smirk touched her lips, and she shook her head. Confusion dominated his expression as did curiosity. "We have the date next Thursday, right?" Slowly, he nodded his head, and she removed her fingers. (F/n) winked. "Then, until then." She moved away from him and headed up to the door. Her eyes didn't glance back to him.

Soon enough, she had the door open and closed it behind her, which caused her to miss the amused smirk forming on Tristan's lips, but she didn't need to see it. She had a feeling that would keep him satisfied until next week, but it also meant that she essentially had promised him a kiss later. Her stomach turned horribly, but she bought herself some time. That was something, especially after what had happened at the pool.

Exhausted from everything, though, she released a drawn out sigh and slid down the door. Her legs spread out in front of her, and she leaned her head back against the wood. She needed a shower, but her current position did release some of her frustration from earlier. Hearing familiar creaking and a chair moving, she peered up and towards the dining room farther from the kitchen. (F/n) noticed her laptop on, and a smile hit her lips. Good, he had been searching.

Lee stepped into the entrance room and crouched in front of her. He handed her a note. How'd it go? Did he try anything? Are you doing okay? A smile touched her lips at his concern, but she shook her head shortly after. Becoming concerned, he seated himself down by her. Like her, he spread out his legs, and he leaned back against the door.

"I got to wear my shorts and jacket the whole time, but ..." She trailed off and closed her eyes for a bit in annoyance at the memory. Thankfully, it only was a memory now. (F/n) opened her eyes when she felt something rest on top of head. Lee had his left hand there, and she smiled. It was comforting. His hand soon lowered, and his fingers began to comb through her hair.

When she leaned against him, he continued the action. "Tristan decided to rinse off in the showers there. He invited me to join him." Lee tensed. "I declined." He relaxed a little. Sure, he had invaded her privacy and snuck into the bathroom when she had been taking a bath, but he had made a promise never to do that again unless she wanted him to. "But then, the pool was closing. I wanted to let him know so that the lights wouldn't get turned out on us since we had ten minutes before that and another ten to leave."

(F/n) turned her head a bit and rested the side of her face against his chest. Part of her wished that she could hear a heartbeat since that would soothe her mind more, but she was grateful that he was there regardless. "So, I went to warn him. He asked for a towel. I got it. He proceeded to slip after I placed it on the shower curtain rod." An annoyed and disgusted groan left him. "He fell on top of me. Thankfully, the towel covered him some. I think his ... Well, I think that it touched my leg." She shivered in revulsion.

Fingers pausing, they moved from her hair before they rested on her waist and pulled her snug against him. The action was so quick that it was caught her off guard, and a note soon was placed in front of her. I don't want him touching you, especially with that. As (F/n) composed herself, she smiled at his concern before she continued to read. He didn't do anything else, did he?

"He kissed me again after he got up from the fall." She didn't sound pleased in the slightest, and Lee couldn't help but clench his fists a little. "He tried before I came in too. I managed to stop him, but now he's expecting one at the coffee shop next week." Before she could say another word, he took her right hand in his left and led her upstairs, and a small smile touched her lips.
