{ SYNOPSIS }

FORBIDDEN LOVE CAN LEAD TO FATAL DESIRES. Rebecca Flint wants what every introverted overachiever in high school wants...to be perfect, at everything she attempts and puts her heart and soul into. So, when she and her grandparents move to Forks, Washington away from the sunny beaches of California, that doesn't change. But, instead, the new environment changes her.

Things in Forks are different. It's a small town, to the point where sometimes it even feels like everyone knows everyone else's name. Rebecca experiences this first hand at school where news about her and other new girl, Bella Swan, spreads like a wild fire. She isn't too thrilled about it but goes along with it anyway.

But just when Rebecca feels like she's finally fitting in and comfortable with her new life, Edward Cullen walks in. She's attracted to him at first because, heck, he's the hottest and most handsome boy she's ever seen. She doesn't let herself fantasize about him for long though. After all, apparently no girl at Forks High is good enough for him.

Despite this, Rebecca becomes astounded after a once cold Edward starts to approach her whenever he can. He acts a bit strange though, and after he displays some amazing feats, Rebecca is sure he is hiding something. She does some digging which eventually leads her to discovering that Edward is a vampire, and she makes the terrifying realization that the reason Edward wants to hang around her all the time may be because he wants her blood. Now Rebecca has a new problem, how does she protect herself from a super hot vampire who seems to have singled her out from everyone else?

Hey, guys, just to let you guys know, Rebecca is completely different from Bella. She's not just going to replace Bella in every scene and do the exact same things as she did. She has a different backstory, hidden secrets, and is a totally different human being from Bella. Plus, she isn't going to become obsessed with Edward or becoming a vampire at the end of the story. That part annoyed me at the end of the Twilight book, so I wasn't going to let Rebecca be as reckless or obsessive as Bella.
