This is an image of Philip, I realized I never gave a description of him.

Philip Livingston POV

No one could've prepared for the monster that was Lord Voldemort. My group, the newly established Order of the Phoenix, was en route to the upper British Isles. There, we would confront our destiny as the ones to bring Lord Voldemort down.

"Be on guard," I told my mages as we raised our wands. I was glad to have taken my father's advice on keeping my magical abilities a secret. The family used to think that my father Victor Livingston was a crazy old fool for predicting things, but I knew he was telling the truth. Father had woken up in the middle of the night the day after (y/n)'s magic awoke and he told me to keep mine hidden.

In the future, you will have your chance. You must practice in secret, otherwise the future will be destroyed. I will send you to Ilvermorny in the United States and replace your mother's memory that you were a squib. This is the only way to protect you.

As a child, I was so frightened by the things my father showed me, especially that my own mother and sister would take the dark lord's side. When I first met Tom in the orphanage, I knew that he was the one in Father's visions that would become the biggest threat to the world and that's when my father presented me with something.

This is the most powerful wand in the world. My father, your grandfather Lucerys Livingston, knew that you and I would be crucial to stopping the war before she is ready. Lucerys passed the wand down in secret to me, my own brother Silas Livingston does not know the Elder Wand actually exists. You must use this wand to defeat Lord Voldemort. Someone in our bloodline will someday wield this very wand and stop the Dark Lord once and for all.

I looked over at my wife, Euphemia Potter. We were married in secret and she recently had our son, James Lucerys Potter. Like my father and grandfather, I too inherited the Livingston family curse for being able to predict the future. I knew the son of my son would be the one to bring down Lord Voldemort. I had desperately wished that my sister wasn't caught in this mess, but alas she was. "Euphemia."

My wife looked over at me, probably reading my mind. "Yes, Philip?"

"If we don't make it out of here, you must try to rescue my sister," I said. "She has been manipulated. If I fall, take this wand and return her memories. Lord Voldemort will try to kill you, but he stands no chance against this wand. You must ensure it reaches Albus Dumbledore. He will know what to do next."

She gave me a sad stare. "But Philip, she is gone. She blames you for the loss of her son and she will report me to her husband. We cannot trust her! I know she is your sister."

"That's exactly why you must capture her. She must be told the truth! Even if it hurts."

Septimus Weasley looked at me with sympathy. "You know he will never let her go. Despite all his misdeeds one cannot deny that the dark lord loves his wife."

"It will not be an easy task getting her on our side," His wife Cedrella Weasley shook her head. "And my birth family the House of Black will not give her up easily. My brother tells me that they will all be slaughtered if (y/n) goes missing. Even he doesn't know we're part of the order. He assumes we're uninterested."

"We all have a lot on the line," I said. "Septimus, your son Arthur will be safe. That is why we all sent our children far away to the care of the Prewetts. No one suspects that they are part of our order. If we should fall, our bloodlines will be continued and our children will avenge us. But it is crucial that we weaken Lord Voldemort as he is unsuspecting."

Dawn arrived and we stopped at the port closest to the Malfoy and Gingham Manors. We all gathered our wits together and I bade Euphemia goodbye as she took her family's invisibility cloak to hide herself. While the rest of us distracted the death eaters, she would be the one to retrieve (y/n) and her children.

"Onward!" We all apparated to the Malfoy Manor and blasted the doors open. Instantly we were attacked and I saw Tom at the corner of my eye slinking away, most likely to ensure my sister's safety.

"Coward! Get back here!" I was about to follow him when I was grabbed and thrown against the wall. "Cygnus!"

My mother looked at me with hatred, an ugly smile on her face. "That scar my son-in-law gave you not enough?"

I knew this was the right moment to finally show her just how much she underestimated me. I pulled out the wand and hexed her, but she easily deflected.

"How...?" She stared at me with shock. "How do you have magic?! You were born a squib! You and your father!"

"No," I stood up and towered above her. "That's what we had you think. Grandfather, Father, and I all knew what would happen. This is the end for you, Mother."

"Do not call me that, you disrespectful little nothing!" She aimed her wand at me. "Crucio!"

I easily blocked the spell. "I don't want to fight you, Cygnus. You have been so wronged. Let me give you your memories back."

"Never! You just want to distort my memories! You are disowned, leave me and my family alone!"

Our fight was terrible, sparks flying and blood coming from both of us. I knew my father warned me that my mother was one of the strongest witches, but ultimately I overpowered her because I had the elder wand. "Give in! I don't want to kill you, Cygnus!"

"That's where you're weak. Lord Voldemort has no problem killing those that threaten his family, our family. You turned your back on us, Philip! You betrayed us and sent your people to attack (y/n)!"

"No, I didn't! I didn't want her being hurt any longer. You know as well as I do that he's been twisting his memories. What's to say he wouldn't do the same to you?!" I leaned down and held my hand out to my mother who was bleeding faster. "Come with me, Cygnus. Help me."

She shook her head and I almost saw sadness in her eyes. "It is far too late for me, Philip. We are loyal to the dark lord."

"It's not too late for you!" I insisted, watching as my people were successfully holding back death eaters and capturing as many as they could. "Take my hand, Mum. This isn't the woman who raised (nickname) and I to be the strongest witch and wizard of the era. We come from high bloodlines, the same bloodline you come from. You must fight!"

However, I was grabbed and suddenly I was no longer in the Malfoy Manor. Instead, we were in the forest, a river slowly trickling. Lord Voldemort helped my mother up and together they raised their two wands against me.

"Ah, I see that it truly does exist." Lord Voldemort looked at me with disgust. "A shame that someone like you has it. So tell me, how are you any different than I? Far as anyone knew, you had no magic and were a disgrace to the name of magic. At least your father was a noble man."

Before I could say anything, Lord Voldemort aimed spell after spell. True he did not have the elder wand, but he was still a formidable opponent. I was able to block most of his spells, but the few that slipped through were almost fatal.

"I've had enough of you! Cygnus, now!"

But my mother did not move. She was staring at something and I turned my head and saw it; my father's patronus, a hippogriff. "Victor...He's alive!"

"CYGNUS! If you do not kill him, I will kill you in his place then kill him!"

"Never!" She raised her wand against him and aimed attack after attack. "You are a monster! You destroyed my family! I can't believe I ever believed you!"

"So be it!" Lord Voldemort looked at her with anger all over his face, his normally brown eyes glowing a deep red. "Avada Kedavra!"

My mother quickly moved to my side, pushing me behind her. She turned her head and looked at me with the warmth she used to when I was a child, a thousand words in her gaze. "You must go, Philip. NOW!"

Before I could say something, she pushed me away and took the full hit of the spell, her body instantly dropping into the river and blood flowing from her wounds into the water.

"NO!" I was about to aim an attack at Lord Voldemort when he lowered his wand.

"You possess what I want the most aside from my wife," he said. "Hand it over and I will not kill you. I will welcome you to my ranks. Had I known that you were not a failure, I would've welcomed you. Your mother was a traitor to our kind, but you. You and your sister are the twins from the prophecy Lucerys Livingston predicted, are you not? The twins of light and dark, destined to become the most powerful and drive mankind into a revolution. Side with me and you will be forgiven for all your misdeeds towards magic."

I looked at my mother's dead body, reaching into my pocket for the resurrection stone that the Weasley family had in their possession but gave to me. "How do you know about the prophecy? Lucerys only told my father and I."

"Things have a way of slipping out." He shrugged. "Your family made you endure a lifetime of rejection and disappointment for making you conceal your magic. Join me and we will show the entire world just how powerful you are, the twins descended from Merlin himself. Hand the wand over, Philip."

"Never. As we speak right now, your wife and sons have been rescued by my people. This ends today. Your abuse, your lies. You don't love my sister, you love power." I disarmed him. "You do not deserve her or the life you've lived so far, you are the biggest danger to her life. But that ends now. Your followers are running like cowards and it will take you ages to rebuild. They will be thrown into Azkaban and you? You will also join them."

Before he could do anything, I let the Patronus of my father (the same one I shared) go, and apparated out. Euphemia and I reunited with our group at the Weasley household, hugging each other tightly.

"She's in the guest room," Septimus said. "And so are the boys. Her youngest son...he's named after your father." I followed him up. "Your sister's memories have been returned, she is to be handled with caution as she also pregnant. We also told her that you're magical. She's taking it fairly well."

Jeez, that man just won't leave my sister alone. I know she wanted a big family, but damn.

"(nickname)?" I gently knocked on the door and entered her room, her staring at the wall. "It's me, Philip."

"Philip." She stared at me with a blank expression. "You saved me from him."

"You don't sound so happy," I said with caution and sat down on a chair near the bed.

"Would you be happy if you found out your husband has been removing memories from
you for over twenty years? That your entire family has been lying to you?"

"I wanted to tell you, but it wasn't the right time. Now is the time, (nickname). I could spend forever apologizing, and I will if that's what you want."

She didn't even listen. "Where's our mother?"

"Dead. She saved me at the last moment," I said. "She too was under his spell, only a little though. I showed her the patronus of Dad, and the rest clicked into place. Voldemort tried to kill me, she saved my life. In the end, she showed she still had some humanity left in her despite everything."

"I still can't understand how you are magical," she looked down. "If it's true that we're the twins of the prophecy, then-"

"Ignore it. Right now I want you to focus on getting yourself ready for your children, I know they are due at any moment."

"But Tom. He won't ever let me go," she said with worry on her face. "What will he do to you? What will he do to me?"

I held out my wand, smiling when she recognized it. "I don't think he will be attacking anytime soon. Now come, I want you to meet your nephew James Lucerys Potter."

Eager to take her mind off everything, (y/n) was happy to see the children of my friends come through the floo network, her immediate recognizing James since he was an exact copy of my wife.

My vision flashed and I saw James dead on the ground, his wife screaming in pain, and his son Harry being the only one to survive the killing curse. I saw Harry face Lord Voldemort and (y/n) standing by his side with the true elder wand to defeat him once and for all. In this timeline, she would survive.

This is the future. Things can always change, but this is the course set so far.

I knew in the future I would die and my sister would finally gain the strength to face her husband once and for all. I wanted to cherish these last moments with my family as I knew Death was knocking at my door and I would give the resurrection stone to Septimus who would pass it to Dumbledore who would pass it to my grandson Harry in the far future.  However, no one knew of the contraption I had finally been successful in creating.

The final result of decades of research. A time turner.

The one that was already in production allowed the user to go back in time to the one where they existed, but the one I made? It allowed the user to go back to a time, even long before them, and even into the future. I had already seen (y/n) be killed hundreds of times, but this time...this was the time that I would be successful in saving her. By saving her from the dark lord before he truly surrendered to the dark magic. The vision I just had confirmed it, I had changed the future.

This is how it is meant to be. This is how it was always going to go. One cannot ever escape Death and one cannot escape their destiny.

To clarify, Philip is the chosen one in the prophecy and no one knows about it because the Livingston bloodline has a secret curse only passed down to one in each generation and they must keep their power a secret otherwise they will be exploited. So yes, Philip is the grandfather of Harry Potter through his wife and son. But he and Reader are also the great uncle/aunt of Draco Malfoy.
