Raging Storm
That lap looks very empty, don't mind if I do😏
Voldemort POV
When I arrived back at the Gingham Estate, I immediately saw it. Gone was my family, all four of them, or six if you counted the twins in her womb who were due at any moment. In a fit of rage, I grabbed the nearest death eater and killed her on the spot.
"You all had your tasks, and you failed me! How dare you!" I stopped when I got to Walburga Black, the witch shaking in fear. "You. Find her."
"We know where she is," Orion jumped to his wife's defense immediately. "She's at the Weasley home. We cannot enter."
Damn that Philip! Of course someone like him has the elder wand. I didn't even care that my followers were shaking in terror, they should be. But what will (y/n) do? They must've restored her memories by now and she knows the truth.
I didn't particularly care that she knew, but it made my life a lot more difficult. "Moony...my wife. I want her back, Orion."
"I know."
"I want my children back."
"We will get them back."
I nodded and grabbed Walburga, placing the cruciatus curse on her. "You will. See to it that your sons are exposed. Otherwise you will all meet the same fate as Cygnus Malfoy-Livingston." I ignored Walburga's screams and continued my destruction of the house, trying to forget the pain. Having (y/n) away from me was like having my heart broken and smashed, something I wouldn't even wish on my worst enemy. She was the only weakness I had, her and my family. They were the only reason why I chose to spare women and children, so long as they did not anger me too much. Except the mud-bloods.
"I want her back right now. I want to hold her in my arms-"
"My lord!" Abraxas entered my bedroom and dragged me to the library where the family tapestry was. My eyes widened when I saw that there were two new additions to my family tree, Daphne and Caelum Riddle.
"So she's had them." I clenched my fist. "I want to be near her, Abraxas." I cast my magic out to where (y/n) was as she still wore the Gaunt family ring, listening to her.
"Congratulations," I heard none other than William Titus. "You must be tired, hm? Rest, you did so well."
In that very moment I wanted to kill someone. Why was HE of all people right near her?! I was her husband, not him! He had no right to be next to her after she had given birth, who knows what he might've done. But what (y/n) said surprised me, especially since she knew the entire truth once more.
"Will, is it wrong that I love him still? After all he's done? I wanted him to be here, he's always been here with me whenever I've gone into labor. I...I really miss him. I want to be in his arms."
My rage quelled and I dropped down onto my knees, grabbing my hair and tearing some out. My darling, I will always be here for you. I will tear his head off and make it up to you. I wish desperately that I could be with you right now, holding you close and kissing your face. I wish I could see them.
"He's evil," Will said with a stern voice. HOW DARE YOU TALK TO MY WIFE LIKE THAT! GET YOUR HANDS OFF HER! "He abused you for years, (nickname). You are safe now."
At her silence, my heart lurched. Normally whenever someone told her who I was and what I did, she'd always jump to my defense. I wasn't abusing her, I was saving her from heartbreak. But the only thing keeping me calm was the fact that my arm was glowing, meaning the unbreakable vow was still intact. Meaning she still loved me despite everything.
I will fix this again, Moony. I promise you. And I will kill William Titus and your brother slowly and painfully.
"We need to plan to avenge our people," Abraxas pulled me out of my thoughts. "We can get her back, that will be easy. But a lot of our forces are in Azkaban."
"That is a huge problem, yes." I stood up and let out a laugh. "But nothing we cannot solve. Round up the most loyal, we will be breaking the rest out tonight."
"You will not be disappointed, my lord. We will get them out and spill ten times the amount of blood. They killed my wife, I will be more than honored to die for your cause," Abraxas followed me. "I want to see Skyrin again, but I also must ensure Lucius is raised properly, not how some pure-bloods are raising their own to be tolerant of mud-bloods."
"Thank you. Your efforts to the cause will not be forgotten," I patted his shoulder. "When the time is right, I will step down as the dark lord. I want to rekindle with my wife, you will take power after me."
"What do you mean?"
I looked around and placed a silencing charm on the room. "You understand me correctly, Abraxas. You are my most faithful and as a father, you understand the need to protect the ones you love most. My family is my entire world, they are the reason why I do what I do. But it is not worth it if their lives are always at stake."
"So you're really giving it all up?"
"I will. I will continue to support our cause, but it is you who is next in line. Either my son Pollux or your son Lucius will take over after. They are both strong and faithful to our cause. This is a great honor, Abraxas."
He stood up more proudly. "Thank you, my lord. I will succeed you most faithfully. But please...take care of yourselves. We are brothers."
"We are." I gave him a fond smile, remembering our youth back at school. "You are one of the few I consider family. Now, let's go avenge your wife."
In truth, I did want to make up with my wife. But if she refused, well I didn't mind chaining her to me. She knew too much about me. If she would not join our cause, I didn't want to kill her, I would simply restrain her forever. I didn't care what I had to do at this point, I was already immune to killing and our children had to grow up in a society not tainted by blood-traitors and mud-bloods.
I'm going to kill you right in front of my family, William Titus and Philip Livingston. Slowly, painfully. I will teach my sons how to be proper men and how to protect those they care about. You're not half the wizard my sons Pollux, Castor, or Victor are. My newborns Daphne and Caelum will soon overpower you as well.
I knew I was succumbing to the darkness and the little humanity I had left was also slipping away and I was grasping onto it tightly for her sake.
For if she dies, I will burn the entire world in her name. If my children die, I will curse those who killed any of them and their entire bloodline. Nothing is inhumane to someone who looses their very humanity. The best part will be the smile on my face when I murder every single one of our enemies.
