*9:30 AM*
The day of the show was here, Takeover Chicago had come and it was filled with great matches top to bottom, but for Kyle it was even more special, as he was getting his first singles match in a PPV

But none of that really mattered now as he was still deeply asleep when he heard some banging on the hotel room door

Kyle: What the fuck is going on? - he asked, still sleepy

Tegan: *giggles* You were still asleep?

Kyle: *sighs* Yeah. Can I get some sleep or what?

Tegan: You want to have breakfast? Because you'll end up missing it of you don't wake the fuck up! - she couldn't help but Giggle, having a bit of fun at his expense

Kyle: Give me 2 minutes! - he got out of bed and into the bathroom

Tegan: I'll be counting! - she then leaned on the door with her arms crossed and started counting. After a minute Kyle opened the door and Tegan fell on his arms

Kyle: Woah! - he rushed to catch her

Tegan: *giggles* Just as planned - they shared a quick kiss - hi love

Kyle: *giggles* Hi little wizard, how was your night?

Tegan: Lovely, but I'm starving now

Kyle: Is that why you woke me up? - he glared at her

Tegan: Yep, I didn't want to have breakfast alone - a cute sheepish smile showed on her face - will you join me?

Kyle: Awwww. Sure, let's get going - he put his arm around her as they entered the elevator

They then got to the dinning room and each one served themselves their own breakfast. They were about to start eating when they heard two voices behind them

Johnny: Mind if we join you?

Tegan/Kyle: Not at all - their unintentional sync made Candice giggle a bit

Candice: So Kyle how are you feeling? First singles Takeover match, got to feel a little butterflies at least

Johnny: Candice don't get him nervous! You'll be fine dude

Tegan: Huh, I was pretty sure this is usually the other way around - she wondered

Kyle: Well that's true, but don't worry Johnny, I already do that to myself - he shrugged

Tegan: Aww luv don't worry about the match now, you'll be incredible no matter what - before Kyle could answer they all heard a voice behind them

Dakota: Yeah dude, listen to your girlfriend - she then greeted everyone in the table

Kyle: Wait hold up, are you on the show too and I didn't get the memo?

Dakota: *giggles* I wish but no. I'm on the Pre-show tonight, but at least I get to travel with my friends so that's cool! - she put her arm tight around Tegan's neck

Tegan: Fuck off Dakotski - she playfully shoved her arm off as everyone kept on eating until Kyle's phone rang

Mom: We're here!

Tegan: Hey! No phones in the table! - she jokingly told him off

Candice: *giggles* Poor Kyle. Give him a break

Johnny: Everything good bud? - he noticed Kyle being surprised by whatever was in his phone

Kyle: Yeah yeah, just my mom texted me. Apparently her and my little sister are in town as well, I guess they're coming to the show as well

Candice/Dakota: Awwww

Dakota: Hey Tegs you're meeting your mom in law! - she teased

Tegan: Shut your mouth Dakotski! - she then took a deep breath, seemingly nervous

Kyle: Hey, it's all going to be more than fine. Just be yourself and I promise everyone will love you - he rubbed her back to comfort her as she  leaned her head on his shoulder

Tegan: I hope so

Kyle: I know they will - he kissed the top of her head while placing his arm around her shoulders and hugging her

*6:30 PM*
Kyle and Tegan were already in the arena, as the show was set to start in an hour and a half for the show and they were relaxing backstage before the madness began

Tegan: How are you feeling luv?

Kyle: Right now? Not as nervous as I will in an hour or so. Ask me later I'm probably a big ball of nerves

Tegan: Awwww poor little boy - she mocked and started massaging his back - Everything is going to be perfect, just end the match not turned into soup you got me?

Kyle: Okay fine I will try my best. Don't you have to go be in the crowd tonight tho?

Tegan: Yeah. I won't be here to nurse you after your match - she jokingly pouted

Kyle: *Giggles* Awww don't worry. You'll have me after the show. Just go there and have fun. They'll be hot it'll be fun

Tegan: Yeah, I'm a bloody plant fan, good thing is I'm in the front row so that's neat

Kyle: Yeah. Shouldn't you get going? I mean pre show is about to start

Tegan: Tosh you're right. I gotta go see Dakota get her ass kicked around, see you late mate - Kyle kissed her forehead

Kyle: Late mate - he couldn't hold back a smile as he watched Tegan go

Kyle: *whispering* I love you

*A few minutes later*
Tegan took a seat on the spot they had reserved for her, as she was going to be announced as a new signing in the crowd like many had been before her. As the stands were filling up she saw a woman with her 10 year old daughter sat next to her

Woman: Excuse me, are you Tegan by any chance?

Tegan: Yep! That's me

Woman: Hi! I'm Allie, Kyle's mom, and this is Amy - the short dirty blonde girl waved - nice to meet you

Tegan's mind: Holy fuck

Tegan: Oh! Nice to meet you too - she shook hands with her mother in law

Allie: Kyle talks a lot about you - she then saw Tegan blush - Relax! It's been all nice things

Tegan: *giggles* Sorry, just that when you said that an alarm went off in my head for some reason

Allie: *Giggles* It's all good, I'd be the same in your spot. But don't mind about that we came to support Kyle, right Amy?

Amy: Yes! Go Bro! - she stood up and cheered

Tegan: Awwww. You watch wrestling Amy?

Amy: Yes! Ever since I was....... I don't know but since I was little *Giggles*

Allie: But one wrestler is more than enough in the family Ames.....

Amy: It's not fair! - she pouted

Tegan: *Giggles* Trust me, you don't want to go through the stuff your brother does

Tegan's mind: I hope he doesn't take it too far. Please don't

*An hour and a half later*
After the kickoff show, featuring Dakota Kai vs Aliyah, Keith Lee vs Killian Dain and Tyler Bate and Trent Seven vs Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake, was done, it was now time for the start of the show and the Street Fight between Kyle and Dream was opening the night

Kyle was finishing warming up on his locker room, already in his gear when he heard a knock on his door

Kyle: What's up?

Dakota: Dude you're up next! Get your ass to the Gorilla - Kyle then opened the door

Kyle: Shit! Thanks Kota. By the way you killed it out there

Dakota: Thanks! Oh by the way you look great

Kyle: Thank you! I thought of going for something different for Takeover and this came out - he shrugged and a cheeky goofy smile showed on his face

Dakota: *giggles* As you should. Now go kick ass!

Kyle: Aye aye captain! - he saluted the Kiwi and left for the Gorilla

*In the ring*

Kyle came out to a wa reception from the crowd in Chicago that night, as they were making him know he was their favorite in the match early on as he had to stop himself from high fiving the fans

Kyle's mind: Stay in character stay in character, it's just this time

He entered the ring and saw the fans cheering for him, including a few signs as well, and couldn't help but smile when he saw his mom and sister sitting next to Tegan in the crowd

Kyle's happy trance came to an end as he saw Dream make his entrance. Not only that, but his gear was also Welsh flag themed, trying to get inside Kyle's head

Kyle's mind: Son of a bitch he's dead

The crowd heckled Dream as he made his entrance, and Tegan and Kyle's family were no exceptions

Tegan: BOOOOOO - she gave him two thumbs down

Amy: Yeah! BOOOOOO - she imitated Tegan, making the Welsh giggle a bit

Tegan: You're one of mine - she high fived the girl - Go love!

*Beginning of the match*
Kyle and Dream wasted no time with lockups and instead went straight to clobbering each other to start things off. Kyle managed to corner Dream and punched him until his opponent was down. Kyle then backed off and tried to hit a splash in the corner, but Dream tripped him and Kyle ended up eating the middle turnbuckle as a result. Dream then rolled out of the ring and got the first weapons of the match as he started throwing chairs and kendo sticks into the ring. Dream then threw a trash can in and Kyle got it and threw it as hard as he could on Dream's back

Kyle: Are you freaking dumb?! Don't give your opponent weapons!

*Highlights of the match*
- Kyle hit a Frankensteiner onto the steel steps on Dream
- Kyle swung at Dream with a chair a couple of times but missed
- Kyle hit a Missile Dropkick onto the ring post
- Kyle tried to hit a Poisonrana on a chair but ended up countered into a Electric chair on a Trash Can
- Dream buckle bombed Kyle on the ring post before hitting a Superkick
- Kyle countered a toss into the post by pushing Dream there and hit an Angle Slam on the barricade
- Kyle brought out a table and put Dream through it with a Moonsault off the ring post

*12 Minutes into the match*
Kyle was still in control of things as he had put Dream through the table not long ago, he got Dream back in the ring but when he went to continue his offense he got hit by a steel chair in the gut. Dream planted Kyle with a DDT on the chair. Dream then dragged Kyle to the outside, put together a bunch of open chairs and tried to Superplex Kyle on them but the so called President of Kick Country managed to  avoid it and Superkick Dream to sitting on one of the Chairs

Kyle: Watch this - he kicked Dream in the face again and went back into the ring only to dive back into his opponent but Dream moved out of the way just in time, causing Kyle to land on the open chairs

Kyle: FUCK! - He cringed in pain and crawled to the barricade where he started to get up when he felt a hand holding his

Tegan: Are you okay love? - she asked with a worried expression on her face. Kyle nodded and kissed her hand

Tegan: Now go beat his arse!

*More highlights*
- Dream tied Kyle on the ropes and hit his body several times with a kendo stick
- Dream tried to hit a Dream Valley Driver but Kyle got down and hit an Enzuguri
- Kyle hit a Mule Kick
- Kyle hit a Shotgun dropkick + Springboard Shooting Star Press combo for a 2 count
- Kyle tried to hit a Good Night Kiss but got Countered into a Dream Valley Driver
- Dream went for a Purple Rainmaker but got trapped in an Armbar
- Kyle hit a double foot stomp to Dreams chest
- Kyle hit a Sitout Alabama Slam on a stack of chairs
- Dream countered a Kick to Sleep with a Tornado DDT
- Dream brought in a Crack Barrel

*20 Minutes into the match*
Dream was in control now and had Kyle where he wanted him, as he hit punched him and mocked

Dream: Get out of here Kyle! Give up!

Dream then tried to knee Matthews in but got blocked and hit with a Bicycle Knee himself. They then started trading blows as the crowd reacted

Crowd: YEAH! BOO! YEAH! BOO! YEAH! BOO! YEAH! BOO! - they kept going until Dream hit an uppercut that turned Kyle around and left him apparently lifeless but Matthews pumped his fist up, threw a chair at Dream and hit a Pele Kick reinforced with it. He then got a hold of the chair and the crowd erupted as he started unleashing shot after shot after shot on Dream's back until the chair broke.  Matthews then put Dream on his knees and screamed on his face

Kyle: YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE

Kylefornia Spike through the Crack Barrel!

Kyle just sat there with an unconscious Dream in front of him. He thought about going for the pin but instead he got two chairs and tied them to his feet and got up in the corner

Kyle: GET UP YOU SON OF A BITCH

He started motioning for Dream to get up until he did, only to end up eating a Good Night Kiss reinforced by the chairs!

But Kyle ended up spraining his ankle on the landing, having to crawl over in pain for the pin

The crowd erupted as Kyle limped his way back up and celebrated with the fans before going to the back

*Two hours later*
*After the show*
Kyle was still in the trainer's room. Getting his right ankle checked as it had swollen a lot after cooling off, when Tegan came in

Kyle: *sighs* I know I know, I'm sorry

Tegan: First of all, you're a Wazzock - she playfully punched his arm - second, how are you feeling?

Kyle: It fucking hurts, and it's 99% sure sprained, don't know if I need a walking boot yet

Tegan: You're an idiot. I love you and you're my idiot, but you're an idiot - she teased

Kyle: *Giggles* Okay I know, on the bright side I'm done with Dream and people were impressed tonight

Tegan: Neat! - she gave him a big hug

Kyle: Would you be so kind to help your injured panda up? Pretty please?

Tegan: *Giggles* Okay, just because I have a soft spot for your adorable side - she pecked his cheeks and helped him up and out the door

Tegan: Oh before I forget there's people who want to see you - right after that Kyle's sister came running and jumped onto her big brother

Amy: Big bro! - she wrapped herself around him like a little koala as Kyle picked her up - I missed you!

Kyle: Awww I missed you too! - he kissed his sister's forehead - you liked my match?

Amy: Yeah, but it was a bit scary at times tho

Tegan: She speaks for me too

Allie: And me as well - Kyle's mom showed up from behind and hugged her son - how dare you scare your mother like that? - she glared at him

Tegan: And your girlfriend too! - she tried to look angry but couldn't help laughing

Kyle: *giggles* I'm sorry, I just got too excited out there. Everything hurts

Amy: You got way too bumpy out there *yawns*

Allie: Ames you're tired? - the kid nodded - i guess we will get going to the hotel, good night!

Amy: Good night! - she waved to Kyle and Tegan as they were left alone

Kyle: I see that you already met - he joked

Tegan: Yep. They're lovely people - she smiled

Kyle: You could say it runs in the family?

Tegan: *Giggles* You could say so. We were all Absolutely invested out there

Kyle: Means I did my job well

Tegan: And a job well done deserves a reward - she teasingly put her hand on his pec

Tegan: But I get you're probably not on condition so would you take a loving hug for now? - a cute smile showed in her face as Kyle hugged her back

Kyle: I'd love it - Tegan tightened her hug and Kyle kissed her face a few times

Kyle: I'm sorry, but your face is just too kissable for me to stop - he teased

Tegan: Then don't stop - she kept on hugging him and Kyle showered her in kisses as they left the arena
