*Continuation of last chapter*
Tegan and Kyle's family presented themselves to the other and, after they got in touch for a bit, they went to the cab stop right outside and Kyle couldn't help but notice a big smile on Tegan's face

Kyle: My gut tells me someone is chuffed am I right? - he joked and got a tight hug as a response

Tegan: Thank you so so so much! This is all I could have asked for

Kyle: And it's only going to get better tomorrow - he noticed how Tegan started tearing up again

Kyle: Awwww don't cry baby wizard! - he kissed the top of her head before Tegan felt how something got wrapped around her leg

Noah: Don't be sad Auntie Tegan, please?

Tegan: *giggles* I'm not sad buddy - she held her nephew in her arms - I'm just so happy I can spend Christmas with my favorite short stuff! - she stirred the kid's hair

Kyle: And when I do that to her she gets angry

Tegan: That's not true! - she scoffed

Kyle: Are you sure about that?

Tegan: Noah defend me! - she shielded herself with her nephew

Noah: Don't touch Auntie Tegan! - he frowned at Kyle before Tegan put him down

Tegan: Tell him shorty! - she played along

Kyle: *Giggles* I'd never. Well, actually yes, but just for things like this - he pulled her close between his arms and kissed her forehead - is that okay mate?

Noah: A-Okay! - he gave them a thumbs up

Tegan: Great to hear that, because it means I can do this - she stood up on her tippy toes and planted a kiss on his lips while Noah covered his eyes with his little hand

Kyle: *giggles* Why are you covering your eyes buddy?

Noah: Mum told me I'm too young to see this - his innocent comment made both Tegan and Kyle laugh bit in endearment

Allie: Sorry to cut the fun but shouldn't we get going? I don't want to speak for everyone but Kyle your dad is exhausted from the flight

Daniel: *snoozes* She's not lying, would you mind taking us to the hotel?

Kyle: Sure, Tegs you mind taking a cab or two for your family? They're at the Four Seasons in the downtown, already made the reservations - Tegan was a bit surprised by those last words and it reflected on her voice

Tegan: Really? Woah luv that's amazing you didn't have to!

Kyle: *giggles* No big deal, it was surprisingly cheaper than I expected but hey, it was fancy and I wanted my in laws to feel comfortable while her

Tegan: Aww that's so sweet! See you at home then?

Kyle: I was thinking in coming by to your family's hotel since I have to go by there to get back home so I can pick you up and maybe pay a little visit?

Tegan: That sounds lovely. See you late mate? - she said with a pretty adorable grin on her face

Kyle: Late mate - he kissed her forehead before they went their separate ways with their families

Tegan then got in a cab along with her parents, as her sister, nephew and brother in law were on a second one, and Tegan couldn't erase a smile from her face

Tegan: And? How was the flight?

Christine: Lovely, but we're completely knackered right now

David: As lovely as you can expect from British airlines, but I second the being near dust part - he said and Tegan couldn't help but giggle a bit

Tegan: *giggles* Sorry, it's just that I am so chuffed you're here! - she proceeded to give her mum and dad hugs

Christine: Awww hun! We're so happy to see you too!

Tegan: It's just, I missed you so much part of me thinks this is all a good dream and I'll wake up in my bed in the morning and you'll be back home - she held her dad's hand tight

David: Don't worry sweetie, I can reassure you all of this is real. At least the tiredness of the flight feels very real

Tegan: *giggles* It's just that I've wondered about it like "oh it'd be so nice if mum and dad and everyone could be here but it won't happen" and now...... now it just feels so bloody amazing! - she sunk on the seat

Christine: Well thank your boyfriend then, he was the one who offered us to come in the first place

David: I really like that lad, looks like a keeper and you two look so lovely together

Tegan: Awww thanks dada! And you're right mum, he has a big big big thank you owed for later - she smiled in happiness as she could only think of how she was going to pay him back

*Half an hour later*
Tegan and her family arrived to the hotel and Almost immediately after Kyle showed up as well

Tegan: Hi luv! What are you doing here?

Kyle: I think you need a ride home of I'm not mistaken, plus I helped with the reservations, want to see they get the right rooms - his comment didn't go unheard by Tegan's mom, who properly replied

Christine: Thanks but you didn't need to, everything good here

Kyle: Sure? Okay fine then. Oh I also came to inform you're invited for dinner tonight, we'll have a big Christmas Eve dinner at home and we'd love if you could come

Christine: Yeah sure! Thank you so much for the invitation

Kyle: No problem ma'am

Christine: Kyle......

Kyle: Sorry, mum - he blushed a bit

Tegan: *giggles* Awww that was so sweet!

Kyle: You're loving this aren't ya? - he glared at her

Tegan: Every second of it - she booped his nose while giggling at her own silly antics

Kyle: Oh! Before I forget nobody has a problem with dogs or anything like that? Because we have two at home so if someone feels uncomfortable around them tell me and we'll sort it out

Christine: Good for us

Tegan: I'm 99% sure nobody does, but let me ask Noah - she then went to look for her nephew

Tegan: Noah?

Noah: What Auntie Tegan?

Tegan: You like puppies right?

Noah: Yup! But why? - he tilted his head as Kyle joined them

Kyle: Because we have two doggos at home and you're going to meet them tonight.....

Noah: Yay Pupperritos! - his adorable response made both Kyle and Tegan smile

Kyle: Awwww! You'll meet them at night. Everything under control here?

Christine: Yes darling, you can go if you want to

Kyle: Okay, see everybody at night!

Tegan: Bye mum bye dad bye everyone! - they were about to leave when Tegan felt something clinging to the keg of her pants

Noah: Auntie Tegan! I didn't get a goodbye hug! - the toddler adorably pouted

Tegan: Aww how could I forget! - she hugged her nephew - there you go short stuff

Kyle: No hug for me? - he pretended to be jealous before Noah wrapped his leg in a hug

Tegan: *giggles* Awww! Please let me take a photo of this - she snapped a picture of it before her nephew let Kyle go

Noah: Better mate? - he innocently asked

Kyle: *giggles* Miles better. Thanks mate! - he high fived the kid - goodbye everyone! - he said before Tegan and him left

Once outside Kyle noticed Tegan was glaring at him with a grin on her face, tho he didn't understand exactly why so he asked

Kyle: Why are you looking at me like that? - now he tilted his head

Tegan: Because a) You and Noah are so adorable my heart can't take it!

Kyle: You think? He seems as adorable as his auntie - he teased

Tegan: Perhaps - she adorably posed - but second, I was never asked about hosting a Christmas Eve dinner? - she crossed her arms and glared at him

Kyle: Surprise! - he joked but didn't get Tegan to laugh

Kyle: Okay fine, I forgot to tell you this before but I talked it with my parents and they were so chuffed I couldn't say no, plus it'll be a nice family reunion for Christmas, pretty neat, innit?

Tegan: *giggles* Well that does explain why I saw more and more food this past few days

Kyle: Wait, you saw everything and didn't think it was for something like this? - he asked in amusement

Tegan: Yup - a sheepish smile showed in her face

Kyle: *giggles* And I'm the silly one here - he pecked her cheeks and kissed her

*8 PM*
Kyle and Tegan were back at home and, while they waited for the Turkey to be done, they heard the doorbell ring

Kyle: Who is it?

David: Your in laws! - Tegan then rushed to open the door and was naturally accompanied by Huff and Puff

Tegan: Hye! - she saluted as the dogs started jumping to everyone they met, scaring off Noah a little, which Kyle saw and decided to help

Kyle: Hey hey, it's okay. C'mon buddies, lay off - and just like that, the dogs stopped jumping and laid tummy up, asking to be petted

Kyle: Now look - he started petting Huff as he indicated Noah to pet Puff as well and soon afterwards the kid was playing with both dogs like nothing

Kyle then went to serve the drinks when he was caught off guard by a surprise hug from Tegan

Tegan: Thank you - she nuzzled her head on his shoulder

Kyle: Awww! Let me hear why my little ego wants it - he joked

Tegan: For everything, you just made my holidays and you didn't have to, you're the best boyfriend I could ever dream of - she tightened her hug

Kyle: And you're the best girl I could even imagine ending up with. You deserve the world and I'm making sure you get it - he hugged back as Tegan got on her tippy toes and they kissed

*Next Morning*
*9 AM*
Tegan woke up in her bed with a small grin on her face, seemingly having had a good dream, and while she was still sleepy and with her eyes shut, she reached for the other side of the bed, thinking Kyle would be there but to her surprise nobody was

Tegan's mind: Awww, where are you? - she didn't have to wait much for an answer, as Kyle came in from behind and dove into the bed

Tegan: *giggles* Woah!

Kyle: Hi baby wiz - he then wrapped her in his arms and wallowed in the bed for a bit until she ended up snuggled a ball on his chest

Tegan: Hi Kyliepuff - she said in a sweet, tho still sleepy, tone

Kyle: Did you sleep well? - Tegan nodded - great to hear, now get up! - he jokingly demanded

Tegan: But I don't want to get up! - she childishly pouted

Kyle: Okay then I guess someone doesn't want her breakfast and presents.... - he teased

Tegan: Give me a moment I'm so comfy here

Kyle: Did I mention we're meeting with our families at a country house at noon? - he raised his eyebrow

Tegan: Ugh, okay I'll get up but please send help over here, the bed monster got me - she held arms out while still laying there

Kyle: *chuckles* Don't worry I'll save you! - he joked and picked Tegan up and put her on the floor

Kyle: Now do you want to see your presents? - a bright smile in Tegan's face told him everything he needed to know - okay let's get going

They then went to the living room and saw all the presents under the Christmas tree

Kyle: C'mon, what are you waiting for? Open them - he started recording her, knowing what would ensue

Tegan: Aight let's see what we got here..... - she started opening the first gift

Kyle's mind: She's going to love this so much

Tegan kept scratching the paper until she saw a bunch of Captain Marvel themed gears in the box

Tegan: OH MY GOSH! - She squealed in a mix of shock and excitement - luv this is so amazing thank you so much! 

Kyle: I told you I was giving you the most special Christmas I could think of, and knowing how much Captain Marvel means to you I can't think of a better present, safe to say you like it, innit?

Tegan: *giggles* Yup! But now I have to think a way of repaying you - she pinched her chin, thinking about it

Kyle: And how do you plan on doing so?

Tegan: Ummm, hopefully like this - she jumped into his arms and showered him in kisses

*1:30 PM*
Tegan, Kyle and their families were at the country house, chilling in the pool, and they were chilling on two of the beach chairs while contemplating everything

Kyle: And? Are you satisfied with all of this?

Tegan: Better than I could dream of

Kyle: In a scale of 1-10, how would you qualify your experience?

Tegan: 10 out of 10, would very much like doing it again

Kyle: We'll take your opinion into consideration, thanks very much - he joked

Tegan: *giggles* Dummy - she pinched his cheek

Kyle: The one you know and love - he made a silly face, making Tegan laugh again

Tegan: My point exactly..... - before she could say anything else, Noah came running in his floaters with a water gun and put his index on his mouth asking her to be quiet, only to cause her to giggle again

Kyle: What's so funny now? - before Tegan said anything he got sprayed by Noah

Kyle: Gah! I'm going to get you! - He started chasing the toddler while Tegan just laughed at the situation until he caught him a few seconds later

Noah: *giggling* No no, please mercy, pweeze?

Kyle's mind: Awwww does being adorable run in the family?

Kyle: Okay I'll let you go, under one condition. Do we have another water gun? - Noah nodded and a smirk showed in Kyle's face

Kyle: Neat! Now hear me out - he whispered something in his ear before they entered the house

A few minutes later, Tegan was still in her chair, getting a tan, when Kyle and Noah started to sneak back to where she was, now both carrying water guns

Kyle: Target identified, shoot! - this alerted Tegan, but it was too late

Tegan: What the..... - she then got sprayed by her boyfriend and nephew

Tegan: You're both dead! - she got up but not before the boys took off running

Kyle: Oh no, enemy is preparing to fire back, run! - they cannonballed into the pool and were surprisingly followed by Tegan

Tegan: Cannonball! - she shouted before jumping in herself

Kyle: Oh no! She got us!

Tegan: *giggles* You're lucky I can't be mad at either of you - she stirred her nephew's hair

Noah: *giggles* That was so much fun, thanks auntie Tegan, thanks Uncle Kyle - he then got out of the pool, leaving Kyle and Tegan alone again

Kyle's mind: Awww he just called me uncle - his heart warmed a bit because of it

Tegan: Awww he called you uncle! That kid loves you i can tell right now

Kyle: Yay I'm a funcle! - he joked - but for real it felt so sweet, I can't believe I'm actually that kid's uncle

Tegan: And maybe one day you'll get called dad, and I'll be mum in case you wonder, but not for now

Kyle: Yeah, let's just focus on the present. Merry Christmas love - he said before they kissed
