*Next Monday*
Kyle woke up to the sound of his alarm going off at 7 in the morning and unlike most other days he got out of bed real fast. It was his first day as an official WWE NXT signee and the mere thought of that had him ecstatic. He got up, fed both of his pups and got to the kitchen to make himself an omelette. As he was eating the anxiety got bigger and bigger the more he thought about his first day

Kyle: *deep breath* Relax, it's just like every other first day...... Who am I kidding? Fuck, why can't it be time already?

He decided to do a light workout to get his head out of the subject and it kinda worked, as he Forgot about it, but just for a moment, because when he was done working out his phone rang

*Kyle's phone*
Johnny Wrestling: I'm coming by in 5, you ready?
Kyle: Yep!
Johnny Wrestling: Great
Kyle: Thanks for this
Kyle: I really need to get a car

A few minutes later Johnny texted Kyle again to tell him he was waiting in front of his house. Kyle then quickly rushed out and hopped into the car along with Johnny and Candice

Kyle: Hi!

Candice/Johnny: Hi!

Kyle: Thanks so much for this

Candice: Aww no problem! How are you feeling?

Johnny: The first day nerves kicked in yet?

Candice: Johnny! - she told her husband

Kyle: *chuckles* Yeah - he took a deep breath - it still doesn't feel real

Johnny: Don't worry you'll get used to it. At least you know some people, like us for example

Kyle: Good point - he nodded

Candice: Oh before I forget we're going out at night with a bunch of people, wanna come?

Kyle: Perhaps - he played hard to get, jokingly, - who's going?

Johnny: Tomasso, Adam, Roddy, Drew,  O'Reilly, Bobby, Shayna, Ember, Dakota and Tegan - Kyle suddenly blushed when he heard the Welsh girl's name

Kyle: Oh! Ummm yeah sure count me in

Candice: May I ask what is it between you and Tegan? I mean I saw you together in the PC last week and you just looked so cute together!

Kyle: *chuckles* Pump the brakes there. Nothing happened, I just went to buy her a sandwich.....

Johnny: Sounds like something to me - he teased

Kyle: Because we bumped into each other and I ruined the one she bought for herself and I felt bad for it

Johnny: Ohhhh, that makes sense, but how do you explain entering together then?

Kyle: Well.... - he blushed a bright red - we may or may not have stayed there for lunch and ended up chatting for a while, she seemed really cool

Candice: Awwww! Did you feel something at that moment? Like butterflies in your stomach?

Kyle: I don't know how I felt. I mean she seems like a cool person and all but I don't know what I feel, it's been one time for God's sake! - he threw his arms up

Candice: Oh don't worry, she's great

Kyle: This probably doesn't mean shit but she started following me on social media....

Johnny: Wait what? For real?

Kyle: Yep

Johnny: Then talk to her! You don't lose anything by trying. Besides it's not like you are going to ask her out right away.... I think

Kyle: *laughs* Nah man, learnt my lesson, not doing that again.... I think

*At the Performance Center*
Kyle and Johnny got changed up and started to warm up as they felt a hand in both of their shoulders. It was none other than Adam Cole

Adam: What's up ladies? - he joked

Kyle: Should be asking you that question - he smugly fired back at his former PWG co-worker and friend

Johnny: *chuckles* Shit!

Adam: Shut up Gargano, Anyone up to spar a bit?

Kyle: I'm in! - he entered the ring and started going at it with Adam

Johnny: This kid sometimes.... - he shook his head

*15 minutes later*
Kyle and Adam decided to give it a break for the time being and they both leaned on the ropes

Adam: *deep breath* You haven't missed a step

Kyle: *panting* Thanks, I wish I could say the same about you - he teased

Adam: Don't get too smart, I can still Superkick you into next week - he smirked

Kyle: You're really challenging the President of Kick Country to a kick duel?

Adam: Come on! - he shoved Kyle lightly - they gave you that shitty nickname in PWG and you're still using it? - he joked

Kyle: Yep! And better get used to it, again, because I'm planning on using it on TV again - a wide, cheesy smile showed in his face right after

Adam: Oh my.....

*Meanwhile*
Tegan was finishing her session of rehab with one of the coaches who was giving her the instructions for her last exercise

Sara: Okay Tegan we're almost done how are you feeling?

Tegan: It hurts but I can take it

Sara: You sure?

Tegan: Absolutely

Sara: Okay, just run a few laps around the ring and you're done for today

Tegan: Got it - the coach left and the Welsh started running around the squared circle for a few seconds before her knee buckled

Tegan: FUCK! - the cry in pain was enough to alert everyone near her, including Cole, Johnny and Kyle

Kyle: I'll be back! - He said to Adam and Johnny and quickly got out of the ring to check on the seemingly hurt Tegan as the same coach of before came back as well

Kyle: What happened?

Tegan: My Goddamn knee buckled! - she was trying not to cry

Kyle: Crap - he muttered to himself - let's go to the trainer room - he helped Tegan up and put her arm around his shoulders as the coach did the same

Kyle: Hey it's going to be fine - he tried to comfort her as they entered the room and they put Tegan on a stretcher

Tegan: *sobbing* Not again please - Kyle's heart sunk after hearing that. He immediately thought of giving her a hug, but thought it was too much and instead just offered his hand to Tegan, who proceeded to hold it tight and squeeze it

Tegan: Thank you - she said in tears

Kyle: No problem, it's gonna be okay, at least you have me as an emotional support human of you need it

Tegan: *giggles* Yeah thank you - she stopped crying and took a deep breath

Kyle: I'll be outside, good luck! - he saluted and Tegan squeezed his hand one last time before he left the room. As soon as he opened the door he ran into Dakota

Dakota: Woah!

Kyle: Watch yo step - he smiled and shrugged

Dakota: *giggles* Is everything fine? Candice told me Tegan is in there

Kyle: Yeah, apparently her knee buckled while running around the ring, I heard a shout, saw her on the ground and helped to to the trainer

Dakota: Oh my! Is she okay?

Kyle: I hope so, you might want to go in - Dakota entered the room

*In the trainer's room*

Dakota saw her friend on the stretcher and couldn't help but crack a joke

Dakota: You've had better days don't ya?

Tegan: *chuckles* Yeah, at least I'm fine, but I can't with this fucking knee

Dakota: You'll get through this, you'll be fine. Did someone help you here? - she asked knowing the answer

Tegan: Yeah, Kyle helped me here, he stayed for a bit too as emotional support - she then saw her Kiwi friend glancing at her - what?

Dakota: You couldn't stop glancing at him last week, you went out for lunch AND he stayed with you as your support? I may or may not have reasons to think you two at least like each other

Tegan: Oh cut the shite! We're cool that's it

Dakota: You like him?

Tegan: He seems like a good lad and he's kinda cute but I don't know Kota, we just met, I don't know how I feel in THAT way

Dakota: If you say so.... - she scoffed

*Fast forward to the night*
Kyle was getting ready to go to the Garganos place for the night when he remembered what happened with Tegan earlier before

Kyle's mind: I wonder how she's doing - he opened instagram and sent her a PM

*Kyle's phone*
Kyle: 🙋‍♂️
Tegan: Sup?
Kyle: How are you doing?
Tegan: Better
Tegan: Knee is still a pain in the ass
Kyle: You kneed yourself in the ass?😝
Tegan: 😂😂😂
Kyle: But for real you're doing better
Tegan: Yep
Kyle: Gr8
Kyle: You going tonight?
Tegan's We're already here
Tegan: Kota and I
Kyle: Oh
Kyle: Wait what? Thought it was in an hour
Tegan: It is, but Candice invited us earlier
Kyle: I'm offended 😡😡😡😡(imagine this is a pout)
Tegan:🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The last part made Tegan giggle, and that didn't go unnoticed by neither Dakota or the Garganos

Candice: What's so funny?

Tegan: Uhhh.... Nothing - she blushed

Dakota: You talking to someone?

Tegan: No.... Johnny you got some pudding?

Johnny: Don't touch my pudding!

Candice: Come on what was going on?

Tegan: I was texting....

Johnny: Would have never guessed - he sarcastically cut her off

Dakota: With?

Tegan: *sighs* With Kyle

Dakota: Awwww Tegan has a crush! - she mocked her friend

Tegan: I don't have a crush! - she then realized she had shouted - I.... I just don't know how I feel

Candice: Oh don't worry you'll find out sooner or later. I'm convinced you two are a great match but it's up to you

*Midnight*
Everyone was in the Garganos place, but since they had tapings to do next day the party was already fizzling out. As everyone was starting to leave Kyle approached the hosts.

Kyle: Thanks for the party guys had a great time

Candice: Oh don't say it, thanks for coming!

Johnny: How are you getting back home? Need a ride?

Kyle: *giggles* No thanks, I don't want to bother, I'll get a cab home - at that point Tegan walked by and heard the conversation

Tegan: You need a ride? We can take you

Kyle: Really?

Tegan: Sure! Let me ask Dakota, she's driving. DAKOTA! - the Kiwi came running

Dakota: What's up everyone fine?

Tegan: *giggles* Yeah, Kyle here needs a ride to his apartment, can we?

Dakota: Sure! - Just let me go get the car - she winked an eye and left giggling as they went out of the door

Kyle: What was that?

Tegan: Don't pay attention, she may be like that sometimes. Shite it's cold here - she started shivering

Kyle: Let me help - he took off his sweatshirt and gave it to her

Tegan: Awww thanks! You don't have to

Kyle: You don't want to get sick, plus it's the least I can do after you're taking me home. Huh, it's usually the other way around but I'll take it

Tegan: *giggles* Fine - she put on the 3 sizes too big sweatshirt - I look like a Bayley buddy - she threw her arms up in the air

Tegan: WOOOO!!! - they both ended up laughing as Dakota got there with the car and honked

Dakota: Get in ya two!

*15 minutes later*
They got to Kyle's apartment and Dakota parked

Kyle: Here we are, thanks again!

Dakota: No problem! Actually we live pretty close, just a few blocks so you can come hang around if you feel like it

Kyle: Cool! See you tomorrow! - he saluted and entered his building. As soon as he made it to his apartment he was received by Huff and Puff both asking to be petted and fed

Kyle: Come here you adorable bastards - he filled the puppies bowls and the two dog breeds started eating as Kyle turned on the TV and put on Cobra Kai for a while before starting to fall asleep in the couch
