*4 AM*
Tegan and Kyle were sleeping in their bed, but while Kyle was deeply and peacefully asleep, Tegan couldn't say the same, as she constantly moved in her dream and suddenly woke up while sweating

Tegan: Ah!!! - she instinctively shouted, being rudely woken up by her nightmare and waking up her boyfriend in the process

Kyle: What happened, had a nightmare? - he asked, still half asleep but concerned

Tegan: Yeah. Thank goodness it was just a nightmare

Kyle: What happened in your dream that was so bad? - he caressed her cheek

Tegan: Y-you got shot - her voice cracked a bit as she got choked up by tears starting to form in her eyes

Kyle: Don't worry love, it was just a dream, nothing happened

Tegan: I know, but it scared me - she fought back the tears

Kyle: Aww come here - he wrapped her in a tight protective hug while sliding his hand down her hair in order to comfort her

Tegan: Thank you - she hugged back

Kyle: You're welcome wizard girl. Now let's go back to sleep shall we?

Tegan: Sure, but can it be like this? I sort of need it

Kyle: Of course, make yourself comfortable - he said with a smile on his face, being heartwarmed by his girlfriend

Tegan: Will do - she yawned and rested her head on his chest

Kyle: Sweet dreams Tegs. I love you - he kissed her forehead before they fell asleep

*10 AM*
Kyle had already gotten up and showered, and as he was about to go to the kitchen to start making breakfast when he noticed his girlfriend still sleeping on their bed

Kyle's mind: Guess someone is bound for a little wake up - he sneaked back into their bedroom and planted a kiss in Tegan's cheek

Kyle: Hye - Tegan then started to wake up

Tegan: *sleepy* Umm, what's happening? - she asked, still not having full grasp of things

Kyle: I'm waking you up. Wake up love - he kissed her again

Tegan: *giggles* Aww this is so sweet! But why can't I sleep longer? - she said with a pouty lip in her face

Kyle: Because you slept almost the entire morning. Now time to get your butt off the mattress

Tegan: Ugh but I don't want to, just let me sleep! - she moaned

Kyle: Best I can do is this - he proceeded to shower her in kisses

Tegan: *giggles* Okay okay I'll get up you win

Kyle: Neat! I'll make you something to drink just give me a sec - he then turned around but with the corner of his eye he saw Tegan still laying in bed but holding her arms out

Kyle: *giggles* What are you doing?

Tegan: I did say I was getting out of bed, never said how. Can you help me please? - she said with her eyes closed, a dreamy expression and reaching out for him with her arms while still laying

Kyle: *chuckles* Awww okay then - he picked her up by the sides and she immediately wrapped herself around him in a hug before being corresponded with another one from him

Kyle: Safe to say you like this don't ya? He said after seeing her smile

Tegan: Yup! This is much much better

Kyle: And why is that may I ask?

Tegan: Because I can do this - she booped his nose - and this - she planted a soft kiss on his lips

Kyle: *giggles* Awww why are you so adorable? It's only the morning and my heart just went liquid. It's your fault! - he joked and pecked her cheeks

Tegan: *giggles* Well, would a breakfast made by yours truly help it get back to it's normal form?

Kyle: That sounds wonderful - he put Tegan down but was surprised by her leaning on him

Kyle: *giggles* What now?

Tegan: My legs are a tad sleepy still so if you don't mind I could use a bit more help - she looked up to him with a sweet smile

Kyle: Always happy to help - he hugged back and they walked to the kitchen

*Fast forward to the afternoon*
*5 PM*

Kyle and Tegan were already in Full Sail, walking through the campus and about to enter the building when Tegan felt a poke in her shoulder before turning around to see Dakota

Tegan: Hye Kota!

Dakota: Afternoon guys! - she bro hugged Kyle and did her special handshake with Tegan

Kyle: That's a cool handshake - he said, slightly impressed

Tegan: You like it? We've been trying to come up with one for weeks - a proud, cheeky smile then appeared in her face

Dakota: Even when we come up with something cool you're still a dork - she teased

Tegan: Pfft! Speaking like you aren't a bit of a plank yourself, Cap - she scoffed

Dakota: That is a completely different topic - she defended herself - also that is no way of referring to your Captain - she played along

Tegan: *giggles* Ugh okay sorry, Cap - she said that last word in a teasing tone

Dakota: Better. You ready for today?

Kyle: Wait what's today? - he tilted his head in intrigue

Dakota: You didn't tell him?

Tegan: Well he never tells me - she glared at Kyle

Kyle: *giggles* Here I won't fight - he threw his arms up in defense - but really is it too top secret I can't know?

Tegan: Let's just say that's for you to figure Kyliepuff - she teased her boyfriend

Dakota: What kind of nickname is that? - she asked in amusement

Tegan: What? I thought it was cute, don't ya think luv?

Kyle: Umm I don't know.... - he decided to have a bit of fun at her expense and pretended to be thinking about it

Tegan: Aww I came up with it because I thought it was nice and it suited my big teddy boyfriend - she showed him a pouty lip

Kyle: *giggles* Awww, of course I'm joking. I like it, don't worry Tegs - he planted a kiss on her forehead

Tegan: *giggles* Neat!

Dakota: Well will you stop acting like a child now? - she glared at her best friend

Tegan: I'm not a toddler! - she joked and shielded herself behind his boyfriend

Kyle/Dakota: Tegs......

Tengan: Aight aight I'm done playing now, ya party poopers - she scoffed and got playfully nudged by Dakota in the arm

Dakota: Whatever ya dummy, shall we get going?

Tegan: Yup, but first I have to do something - she got in her tippy toes and gave Kyle a kiss before leaving

*An hour later*
*On TV*
NXT GM William Regal was in his office, seemingly attending some duties of the brand when he heard a knock on his door

Regal: Come in! - the door opened and none other than Tegan entered the room

Tegan: Hi Mr Regal! - she offered a handshake - Tegan Nox, pleasure to meet you sir

Regal: Pleasure is mine Ms Nox - he shook her hand - I've heard lots about you, all good by the way, what brings you here?

Tegan: Thanks! - she couldn't help but smile after being complimented - Umm I heard a women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team classic was announced last week....

Regal: Indeed it was

Tegan: And I was wondering if there were any openings left

Regal: Actually there is one, who is your partner Tegan?

Tegan: Oh I don't have one yet...... - before she could finish the sentence the door opened again and now Dakota Kai entered the room

Regal: Hello Dakota, is everything okay?

Dakota: Yes Mr Regal, I wanted to ask you something.... - before she could keep talking she was cut off by Tegan, who had her attention caught by this girl that had just entered the room and an idea came to her mind

Tegan: Oh! You're here for the Dusty Classic opening? Because I was looking for a partner. Hi I'm Tegan

Dakota: Dakota - they shook hands - sorry but no - the look on her face matched up with her words - I came here to ask Mr Regal for a match against Shayna Baszler....

Regal: Good that you say that Dakota, because I can make that match happen as soon as tonight - he announced and a look of doubt appeared in Dakota's face

Dakota: Oh! Uhh ummm..... - she then looked at Tegan for a second - yeah, make it official - she said with a taint of fear in her voice but trying to look convinced

Regal: I'll inform Shayna of this and the match is on then - he then left

Tegan: Good luck! - she noticed the fear in Dakota's eyes - what's wrong? It's just a match

Dakota: It's just....we have some history, Shayna and I

Tegan: Oh right I forgot, sorry

Dakota: Don't worry, you didn't have to know - she let out a little sigh before leaving, with a thinking Tegan machining an idea behind her as she left

*In the ring*

Dakota made her entrance to a choir of cheers from the crowd and, while she still had a bit of fear, as shown by her facial expression, she tried to remain as focused as possible

The NXT Woman's Champion showed up to a rain of boos as she smugly walked down the aisle accompanied by her two hench women Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir, looking down Dakota as her prey, as she entered the ring and tried to intimidate the Captain of Team Kick by getting in her face

*End of the match*
In a surprisingly contested match, Dakota was getting the best out of Shayna, as she surprised the champ with a series of kicks to the head and ran to the ropes but there she got tripped by Shayna's friends and set up in a silver platter for Shayna to hit a high knee to the jaw of Dakota

After that Shayna dragged Dakota to the center of the ring and trapped Dakota's hand under her foot. Shayna took her time to gloat with the crowd as they booed her but when she went for the stomp Dakota moved her arm out of the way and caught Shayna with a surprise roll-up!

Dakota had finally done it, she beat Shayna. But she didn't have time to celebrate as she tried to escape the ring but she was caught by the MMA Horsewomen and thrown bac to the ring where she was cornered by Shayna and her friends....

Just when all looked lost for Dakota, Tegan came sprinting from the back with a chair in hand and hit both Marina and Jess with it before threatening Shayna, but the women's champion left the ring, leaving Tegan and Dakota alone as the Welshwoman offered her hand to help the Kiwi up

Tegan: You good? - she helped Dakota up

Dakota: Yeah, thanks mate - she said glad and a tad surprised someone had her back

Tegan: Cool, now chins up you won! - she said in a happy tone, then raised Dakota's arm while they stared at Shayna and co down the ramp

*Backstage*
Tegan and Dakota came back and the former quickly put a shirt on and went to catering, where her boyfriend was watching the show with the Garganos, Tommaso and Keith Lee. Tegan sneaked behind Kyle and covered his eyes

Tegan: Who's it? - she said in a sweet voice

Kyle: Ummm, i have a hunch you're Dakota aren't you? - he said with a strong sarcasm in his voice

Dakota: Well I'm also here but nope - she suddenly entered catering and scared her best friend

Tegan: Tosh! - she got a bit scared, not expecting Dakota

Candice: Hi Kota! You two were amazing! Team Kick officially a thing on TV now?

Dakota: Ehh, we're getting there, but yeah that's the endgame

Tegan: I got a new fren! - she said in a cheerful tone and hugged Dakota

Candice: *giggles* I'm so happy for you too, and who knows? Maybe all three of us can be a group later on, on TV that is

Dakota: Sounds awesome to me

Tegan: Ditto - she then turned her attention to Kyle - what about you Kyliepuff? Anything worth noting?

Kyle: I think I'll let my good friend Keith here give you the news, Keith if you will

Keith: Sure, so Hunter wanted a second team of two singles stars for the Dusty Classic, so they decided to pair us two for the tournament

Tegan: Neat!

Candice: You got a team name already?

Keith: We were trying to come up with one but nothing yet

Kyle: I got an idea - he snapped his fingers - what about "Leegion of Boom"?

Keith: I like that, it's the perfect amount of cheesy I like that - they fist bumped

Kyle: Okay so Leegion of Boom it is, any objections speak now or remain silent forever - he joked and Tegan giggled

Kyle: What's so funny Miss Tegan? - he raised an eyebrow

Tegan: You're such a daft - she playfully shoved his arm - and I love you as such - she kissed his cheek and yawned

Kyle: Knackered baby wiz? - Tegan nodded and rested her head on his shoulder

Kyle: Alright then, let's get going. Bye everyone!

Tegan: Good night! - they then started walking towards the car when she leaned on him again

Kyle: *giggles* Again?

Tegan: Yep - she answered weakly - my little legs are tired, i need help again - she said in s cute voice with an equally cute pout on her face

Kyle: Awww say no more - he picked her up in his arms and Tegan wrapped him in a tight hug

Tegan: Love ya - she kissed him

Kyle: Love you too Tegs - he caressed her cheeks and kissed her in the lips as they left
