Kyle was back at home, watching Netflix and happily playing with his dogs when he heard his phone buzz

Kyle: The fuck now?

Two messages from Tegan
Tegan: Luv
Tegan: Are you doing anything right now?
Kyle: Does watching Netflix count?
Tegan: Ummm kinda
Kyle: Neat!
Tegan: But do you mind watching Netflix with me?🥺
Kyle: Is that code for "can I come over to your place please"?
Tegan: Well.... Yeah
Kyle:🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kyle: Fine come over. BTW you have two puppies waiting for you
Tegan: Wait for me!

Kyle couldn't help but chuckle at the adorable nature of his girlfriend and muttered
Kyle: You're really special love

*A few minutes later*
The doorbell rang and Kyle decided to tease a bit before opening

Kyle: Who is it?

Tegan: Delivery!

Kyle: And what are you bringing?

Tegan: Ummm...... A Netflix partner?

Kyle: Cool! Come in - he opened the door and Tegan came in

Tegan: Hi luv - she stood on her tippy toes for a kiss

Kyle: Just that? - he teased

Tegan: And what would be good enough for you luv? - she teased back

Kyle: Let me think...... Got it - he picked her up as Tegan wrapped herself around him

Tegan: *giggles* Better?

Kyle: Much much better. Thanks your majesty

Tegan: *giggles* You're welcome - she pecked his cheeks and kissed him before they went to the couch and were met by the dogs lying tummy up asking to be petted

Tegan: Awwww you cute furries! - she started rubbing their bellies - I missed you too Blue....

Kyle: *Giggles* Blue?

Tegan: Oh! It just slipped my bad. I was thinking about naming my dog Blue if I ever get one. Pretty neat name for a pup, innit?

Kyle: I dig it. Hey, completely out of context but when is your flatmate coming back?

Tegan: Dakotski is coming back tomorrow afternoon so I came here to enjoy my last night alone by..... Well not being alone? - a sheepish, cute smile showed on her face

Kyle: *giggles* I for one think it's a great idea - he planted a kiss on her forehead

Tegan: What were you watching?

Kyle: Have you watched Cobra Kai?

Tegan: Nope, I know Dakota was watching it but I never really picked it up myself

Kyle: Would you say she's Dacobra Kai? - he joked

Tegan: *giggles* Dacobra Kai, I got a new nickname for her, thanks love - she rested her head on his shoulder before Kyle pinched her nose

Kyle: Got your nose!

Tegan: Give me my nose! - she said in a cute voice and threw herself over him

Kyle: *giggles* Okay fine here's your nose - he "gave" her her nose back

Tegan: Thank you - she gave him a tight hug and let out a yawn

Kyle: Tired? - Tegan nodded

Tegan: I really want the MYC to be here already, but fuck me if the preparation for it doesn't turn me into dust pretty much. It sucks! - she pouted

Kyle: Awwwww. I'm sure you'll be amazing. I know it sucks but you're getting your second chance to shine, no pun intended, and I know for a fact you'll knock it out of the park. I believe in you - he put play to Netflix but got up just moments after

Tegan: Don't leave - she held her arms out trying to reach for him

Kyle: *giggles* Wait a sec I have something to show you! - he went to his bedroom and came back in a Harry Potter Hogwarts shirt and Pikachu pants

Kyle: Tada! - he did jazz hands as well, making Tegan laugh

Tegan: *chuckles* Awwww, come here ya oaf! - she pulled him down into the couch for a hug and showered him in kisses

Tegan: I love ya foe - she tightened her hug and kissed him in the cheek as they cuddled and started watching the series

*Next Morning*
*8:30 AM*
Tegan was still deeply asleep in the couch when she felt something on her hand

Tegan: *sleepy* Huh, what's up? - she then opened her eyes to see Huff giving her little kisses on her hand

Tegan: Hi buddy! - she picked up the puppy - what do you want huh?  What do you want? - she asked in a childish voice and gave the doggy a kiss before seeing the food plate in the floor

Tegan: Awww you're hungry pal? Love! - Kyle then went out of the bathroom - where is the dog food? We have a hungry pup situation

Kyle: Hold up I got this - he filled the bowls and the dogs went to eat

Kyle: You're hungry too little wiz?

Tegan: Yep. You have anything for breakfast?

Kyle: Actually I was looking for a good ol British breakfast recipe so I could bring you breakfast to bed..... Kinda

Tegan: Awww what a gent! - she pinched his cheek - but better for you I can help you if you need

Kyle: You cook?

Tegan: I mean define cook - she giggled and started to blush - like i can cook some simple stuff but I'm completely clueless when it comes to more advanced stuff *giggles*

Kyle: Well I'll probably screw up along the way so can I count on you to be my assistant chef?

Tegan: Sir yes sir! - she saluted and made Kyle laugh

*20 Minutes later*
Kyle and Tegan finished cooking their full breakfast and they sat to eat as she took the first bite

Kyle: And? Do we butcher it?

Tegan: *giggles* Nope, not at all, in fact it's bloody good! We did a great job chef! - she said in a cheerful tone

Kyle: Safe to say my assistant really helped me. Hey, what time is Dakota's flight arriving?

Tegan: I'm pretty sure 10 PM, why?

Kyle: Neat! We can watch NXT together of you want to

Tegan: Sounds like a lovely idea. You're in it?

Kyle: Yup! And something tells me you're going to like what you'll see - he said in a playful tone

Tegan: Plonker - she planted a kiss on his cheek - you're up for getting your ass kicked? - she pointed at the PS4

Kyle: Oh you want to try? Good luck love. You're going to need it - he turned on the PS and started going through the games

Tegan: Wait. I was thinking, what if we do cooperative for a change?

Kyle: Like it. What you have in mind?

Tegan: Umm... Left 4 Dead? Tho it'll be weird not to mop the floor with you for once - she smugly grinned

Kyle: How dare you? - he put his arm around her and kissed the top of her head a few times

Tegan: *Giggles* Goof - she rested on him

Kyle: What are you doing? - he couldn't help but smile after seeing his girlfriend's antics

Tegan: Going for the pin - she slapped the floor three times - one two three. I win! - Kyle then lifted her by her sides

Kyle: And the crowd goes crazy! Yeah! - he joked and made Tegan laugh

Tegan: *chuckles* I just want to wrestle for the cameras again *sighs*

Kyle: And you will. You have the chance of putting on a killer tournament showing so might as well run with it. You're going to be on TV sooner than later after that I'm sure

Tegan: Awww thanks! - she hugged him - now let's get to the important stuff! - she sat up and picked her controller before they started their gaming session

*8 PM*
Tegan and Kyle were now at her home, as Kyle came by to help her clean up the mess the house was before Dakota came back. Once they finished Kyle sat in front of the TV and Tegan jumped right next to him

Kyle: Jesus this was a mess! - he took a deep breath

Tegan: *Giggles* Don't Tell me, I was the one living with it

Kyle: Then why didn't you clean it before?

Tegan: I wanted to but I got so lazy! - she rested her head on his shoulder

Kyle: *Giggles* Don't fall asleep here comes my match!

*On TV*
It was the Second Round of the tournament to determine the new #1 contender for the North American Championship currently held by Adam Cole. Kyle was facing Kassius Ohno, who had beaten Danny Burch in the first round, and the winner of Matthews vs Ohno was advancing to the finals against the winner of Ricochet vs Keith Lee as shown in a tournament bracket

Kyle made his entrance first, energetic as always but also laser focused on his match against Kassius, knowing what happened last time they faced and determined to make it to the finals. He finished his usual entrance and waited for his opponent to show up

The Knockout Artist made his way down the aisle as Kyle waited for him in the ring and once KO finished his entrance they were both checked for weapons before the match started

*Beginning of the match*
KO and Kyle shook hands in a little show of sportsmanship before locking up. Ohno backed Kyle into the ropes but Kyle managed to turn around and put Kassius against the ropes. Kyle chopped him and got a few Woos from the crowd. The ref then broke them up and Kyle tried to go for a jumping knee but Ohno pulled down the ropes, making Kyle go flying over them and eat a nasty back bump on the apron, making Tegan cringe in the process

Tegan: Jesus! Are you okay love? - she instinctively hugged him

Kyle: *giggles* Yeah, just keep watching the match - he kissed her as she tightened her hug

*Highlights of the match*
- Kassius hit a spinning heel kick
- Kyle Countered a belly to back Suplex by landing on his feet, tho damaging his "injured" ankle and hitting a German Suplex himself
- Kyle hit an old School Tornado DDT
- Ohno put his knees up on a Moonsault attempt and caught Kyle with a Running Knee afterwards
- Kassius hit an Exploder Suplex
- Kassius tried to go for a Superplex but Kyle slid under and hit a Splash Mountain Powerbomb for a 2,5 count
- Kyle hit a Diamond Dust
- Kyle put Kassius on his shoulders, launched him into the middle turnbuckle and hit a Blue Thunderbomb after that
- Kyle hit a Sitout Alabama Slam for a 2,8 count
- Kassius countered a shotgun dropkick attempt with a Big Boot for a 2,5 count

*13 minutes into the match*
After more frenetic back and forth action, Ohno was back in control and looking to finish Kyle as the Knockout Artist went for a Discus Big Boot but got trapped in the same Kneebar Kyle used to win his first round match but Kassius made it to the ropes

Tegan: Yeah! - she then saw Ohno reach the ropes - For fucks sake!

Kyle: *chuckles* Awww someone is invested. Here look at this

Kyle then backed off and tried to hit the Old School Tornado DDT again, but this time KO countered with a Uranagi that made Kyle bounce on the mat and end center of the ring. Kassius then started to call for the discus Elbow

Tegan: No no please love move away - she held his hand tight, Completely invested in the match on the TV

Kyle: *giggles* I'm right here, but I like the support

Tegan: *giggles* You're welcome, now go win this!

*On the TV*
Kyle slowly started to get up as Ohno was charging up his finishing move. The so called President looked lost on his feet but he turned out to be playing possum as he caught Ohno when he spun around for the Discus Elbow and hit him with a German Suplex. Kyle then limped to the corner and it looked like he was going for a Good Night Kiss, but instead he surprised a kneeling Kassius with a Shining Wizard!

Kyle celebrated for a bit in the ring before helping Ohno up in a show of respect and leaving

*Back at Tegan's home*
Kyle: And? What do you think? Pretty neat right?

Tegan: Well you won so, neat! Also the finish seemed oddly familiar.... - she teased

Kyle: *Giggles* Okay okay you saw it - he threw his hands up in defense - Since you're the expert here, do you approve my Shining Wizard?

Tegan: *giggles* Well it's not the Shiniest but it's the next best thing, so yep!

Kyle: Would you say I'm the guy with the Shiniest Wizard then? - he teased

Tegan: Nope! There's only one Shiniest Wizard and that's me! - she said in a cute voice

Kyle: Awww okay fine, you're my Shiniest Wizard - he pecked her cheeks

Tegan: Well since you won I guess you have to get a prize - she teasingly walked her hand on his abs

Kyle: Ohhh and what would that be?

Tegan: Dunno, Maybe this! - she threw herself on him and showered him in kisses

Kyle: Now that is a good reward - he joked

Tegan: I love you Panda bear - they wrapped each other and cuddled

Kyle: I love you too
