Kyle woke up to the sound of his phone ringing in the light table. He put it in silence mode and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. He made himself some scrambled eggs and toast before going back to pick up his phone and seeing a bunch of texts from Tegan

Tegan: Can we talk?
Tegan: I'm bored and I miss you 🥺
Tegan: Imagine me with puppy eyes in that last message
Tegan: Can we FaceTime?
Tegan: Answer plz
Tegan: It's not funny 😡

Kyle's mind: You're one of a kind - he couldn't help but smile imagining how his girlfriend was acting while texting him

Kyle: Here I am!
Tegan: Hi!
Tegan: Why didn't you answer?

Tegan: But now you're awake so

Tegan wants to FaceTime

Kyle then picked up and saw Tegan in her PJs and the snapback she got from him after their first NXT tapings which made him smile

Tegan: Hi!

Kyle: How's my love doing?

Tegan: Pretty fine, just bored out of my mind

Kyle: I see you're rocking the snapback you stole me

Tegan: Yep! Oh I still have your hoodie from when we went to the Garganos place

Kyle: Can I get that back or you're going to steal my wardrobe? - he teased

Tegan: Yeah, umm...... - she blushed a bit

Kyle: *giggles* What's up

Dakota: She sleeps with it! - she shouted from the distance

Tegan: Hey!

Kyle: *chuckles* Really?

Tegan: Well it's the closest I have to sleeping with you - a sheepish smile showed on her face

Kyle: I feel attacked - he jokingly pouted

Dakota: Yeah, you're a bad girlfriend Tegan - she used the occasion to tease her and give her best friend a wet Willie

Tegan: Fuck off! *Chuckles*

Kyle: Thanks King!

Dakota: A pleasure - Tegan then shoved her out of the frame

Tegan: You're not going to defend me? - she looked at him with a cute pout

Kyle: I was going to say something about how you kinda deserve it, which you do, but Awwww you look so adorable!

Tegan: *giggles* Ya, people tell me that, see you at the PC?

Kyle: I guess you will - Tegan blew a kiss before the call ended

*An hour later*
After quite a bike ride, Kyle made it to the PC and met none other than Adam Cole I'm the parking lot

Kyle: Adam Cole! - they bro hugged

Adam: Adam Cole BAY-BAY. You can't say Adam Cole without saying Bay-Bay afterwards

Adam: You're legally obligated to say it now

Adam: See that ring in there? We're gonna go in there and I'm going to kick your ass - they then entered the gym and it took just seconds before Tegan ran behind her boyfriend and covered his eyes with her hands

Adam: Saved by the girl, I'm waiting for you! - he joked as he went to change, leaving the couple alone

Kyle: Uh....... Candice? - he said with a strong sarcasm in his voice before Tegan uncovered his eyes and poked his shoulder

Tegan: Hi luv - she said with her hands behind her back and on her tippy toes waiting for a kiss

Kyle: Hi you - he pecked her cheeks and kissed her

Kyle: I had that overdue from the face time in the morning, you were just so adorable!

Tegan: What, this? - she jokingly pouted

Kyle: Stop being so adorable! - he planted a kiss on her forehead before goiny to change and meeting up with the Undisputed Era and Roderick Strong in the ring

Adam: So you're official now?

Kyle: We're indeed - he couldn't help but blush a bit

KOR: Awww Matthews has a girlfriend

Roddy: Yeah, more than you can say

KOR: Ouch.

Roddy: Wait hold up a minute, who are we talking about here?

Bobby: Tegan Nox right Kyle?

KOR: Why you asking me? - Adam slapped him in the back of the head

Kyle: *chuckles* Yeah, we got together last week

He then left and saw Ricochet practicing some flips in another ring

Kyle: Mind if I join?

Ricochet: Not at all - they shook hands 

Kyle: What were you doing?

Ricochet: Nothing special, just doing some flips to keep them fresh in my memory, wanna try some?

Kyle: Sure! I could use some high flying myself

*3 hours later*
Kyle laid exhausted on the mat as Ricochet started to stretch next to him

Ricochet: Not that easy huh?

Kyle: *Panting* Never said it was - he tried to catch his breath

Ricochet: *chuckles* Good point. Need some help? - he offered his hand to help Kyle up

Kyle: Nah thanks, I'm good *giggles*

Meanwhile Tegan was talking with Candice as they made a stop in their own session

Candice: How does the knee feel?

Tegan: Much better! Doc said I could be cleared in a few weeks! - she smiled in happiness

Candice: That's awesome! On other subject, how's the couple life going?

Tegan: Very good. You're just so happy you can say that aren't you?

Candice: Well yeah.... But you ain't going to deny you're happy as well!

Tegan: You got me there - she shrugged

Candice: You know what I was thinking?

Tegan: I mean I wish I could read minds.....

Candice: *giggles* Okay, but for real I was thinking.... What about a double date? You two, me and Johnny, just us going out and having fun as both friends AND couple

Tegan: Neat! I'm going to ask Kyle, the hell is he? - she started looking for him without much success

Candice: Found him - she pointed at the ring where Kyle was lying and noticed a mischievous grin on Tegan's face

Candice: What are you thinking about?

Tegan: Follow me - they entered the ring and saw Kyle still there, immobile

Tegan: Come on luv, up - she kicked him lightly in the butt a few times

Tegan: *giggles* I don't care, you're getting up lad

Kyle: Help - he reached his hand out to his girlfriend, who tried to help him up but it was a trap, as Kyle pulled her down with him

Kyle: Really? - he glared at her

Tegan: *giggles* Okay fine you're a bit funny - she pressed her index on his nose

Tegan: Oh Cand I almost forgot do you tell him?

Kyle: Tell me what?

Candice: We were thinking about having a double date, you two me and Johnny, what do you think?

Tegan: Please please please please?

Kyle: *giggles* I don't know why you're begging, I'd have said yes regardless - he sat up and Tegan hugged him as a response

Candice: Didn't know you were the spontaneous hugs type Tegs

Tegan: Well it happens this guy is just too cuddly to resist. I mean look at that face - she said in a joking tone as she pecked his cheeks and kissed him

*7 PM*
Tegan was finishing getting prepared for the date and apparently she was taking her sweet time in the bathroom, because Dakota let her know

Dakota: Tegan! Are you taking a shower again or what?!

Tegan: Hol up, almost done! - she came out of the bathroom wearing a tank top, jeans and a pair of Converses

Tegan: And? How I look?

Dakota: Look at you! You're so great!

Tegan: Well Candice said get casual so this is the best I could find

Dakota: And you look awesome! Hold up let me help you - she straightened Tegan's her with her fingers before the doorbell rang

Tegan: Well, that's for me, see ya! - she tried to leave but Dakota stopped her

Dakota: No wait! What are you doing? You never heard of making the wait worth it?

Tegan: Yeah but not in dates......

Dakota: Awwww you're such a baby - she mocked and pinched Tegan's cheek - I go open the door, you hide for a bit and then come out, got me?

Tegan: Gotcha, now go open the bloody door  *giggles* - Dakota opened and saw Kyle dressed up in a Ramones shirt, jeans and matching Jordans

Kyle: Hi lov..... - he then saw Dakota instead of Tegan

Dakota: Not who you were expecting right? *Giggles*

Kyle: What's up King? - they hugged - where's Tegan?

Dakota: Oh she'll be ready in a bit come take a sit - before he could do that Tegan blew her cover and showed up, making Kyle's jaw drop

Tegan: You were looking for me?

Dakota: Tegan! I told you to wait! - she told her best friend

Tegan: I guess it still worked, you can attach your jaw to the rest of your body now luv *Giggles*

Kyle: I'm sorry, but you look so beautiful!

Tegan: *blushes* Awwww thanks. Do we get going?

Kyle: I say we do, called an Uber and it must be here by now

Tegan: Bye Kota!

Kyle: Bye King!

Dakota: Bye! Behave you two!

Tegan: *giggles* Shut up!

*20 minutes later*
Tegan and Kyle made it to the restaurant and started looking for the Garganos until they both felt a hand placed on their shoulders

Johnny: Looking for something?

Tegan: SHIT! - she got scared and ended up jumping behind Kyle

Tegan: You scared me, not cool mate

Kyle: *chuckles* Hi Johnny - they bro hugged - where are you sitting?

Johnny: Over here, come on I'll guide you

*Two hours later*
Both couples exited the Restaurant after dinner and, after saying goodbye for the night, they went their separate ways

Kyle: Okay that was fun

Tegan: Yeah, do you really think Johnny was actually going to ask for pudding if Candice didn't stop him?

Kyle: I want to say no and I kinda believe he was just joking but at the same time this is Johnny so I don't know

Tegan: *giggles* Yeah, but Candice reaction was priceless

Kyle: What would you do if I did something like that in public?

Tegan: I'd probably be a blushing mess - they both ended up laughing

Kyle: Awww, what a cutie of a girl - he put his arm around her and kissed the top of her head. Then there was a silence for a few seconds

Tegan: Everything fine luv?

Kyle: Yeah, I was just wondering......

Tegan: About what? - she playfully answered

Kyle: Since you personally attacked me by saying we never sleep together, want to change that tonight?

Tegan: *giggles* I'd love to - she jumped up for a quick kiss

Half an hour later they made it to Kyle's apartment and Tegan immediately ran to the couch

Tegan: I call dibs on the couch!

Kyle: *chuckles* Tegs you don't need to, you can sleep in the bed I'll sleep here

Tegan: No no, It's good I can sleep here - she snuggled on the cushions

Kyle: *giggles* I have a better idea - he brought in the mattress and put it next to the couch - tadaa!

Tegan: *giggles* Okay fine, I'll sleep there

Kyle: No, this is mine now - he jokingly pouted

Tegan: Oh I see - she rolled off the couch and fell over him

Tegan: I guess we can share - she said in a cute voice

Kyle: Sounds good to me. Dakota knows you're here?

Tegan: Shite! I forgot to tell her, I'll be back!

Kyle: *giggles* Don't worry, I'll myself

Kyle: KING!
KING: Hi
KING: Is Tegan with you?
Kyle: Yep
Kyle: We're spending the night together
KING: 😈
Kyle: Not like that!
KING: I demand proof of her

Kyle and Tegan then took a selfie, with her planting a kiss on him

KING: 😍
KING: Good night

After that Kyle went back to the mattress and Tegan laid on him again
Kyle: You don't want to use your bed?

Tegan: I decided you're more comfortable *giggles*

Kyle: And I decided that I'm going to eat you alive! - he wrapped her in his arms and dropped many little kisses on her. Tegan then grabbed her phone and they took a selfie while cuddling
