One week later
Cardiff International Airport
1 AM

Kyle and Tegan had gotten to the airport and hour or so ago, as his flight back to Orlando was leaving in a few hours. After loading off the bags and getting his ticket they then went to a Starbucks in the airport and got two coffees. Tegan then started checking he had everything he needed to go

Tegan: Okay so let's check, you have your passport?

Kyle: In my carry on

Tegan: Ticket?

Kyle: Over here - he showed her the ticket in his hand

Tegan: Kiss from your girlfriend? - she  joked

Kyle: Oh shoot I don't have that one yet - he played along as Tegan got on her tippy toes and kissed him in the cheek

Kyle: Oh thanks! I thought I was leaving without one - his silly joke made Tegan giggle a bit

Tegan: Never! - she jokingly saluted - although I think you might be forgetting something else

Kyle: What? - he asked, slightly confused

Tegan: You don't think you should leave a kiss for your girlfriend before you leave? - she said in a playful tone and put her index on her cheek while also showing a cute smile

Kyle's mind: Awww why is she so cute?

Kyle: *giggles* Oh yeah how can I forget - he facepalmed before planting a barrage of kisses on her

Tegan: *giggles* That's better, kinda

Kyle: Huh? Why kinda?

Tegan: Because I'm going to miss this - she adorably pouted

Kyle: Awww I'm going to miss you too, but it's only what, 10 days until we see again? We've been apart for longer and it makes the reunion sweeter am I right? - he put two fingers on her chin

Tegan: True that. Plus we're moving together! Yay! - she did a little hop in excitement

Kyle: *chuckles* I'll admit, I'm going to miss this big ball of sunshine with me

Tegan: Not like you're losing it forever, am I right? - she teased

Kyle: Lucky me I'm not because I have no clue what I'd do if I were to lose you - he put his arm around her and Tegan cuddled into his arm

Tegan: Same goes for my Panda bear. You know how you're getting home from the airport?

Kyle: Yup, Johnny and Candice offered to come pick me up. I'm landing at 9:30 AM over there so I won't feel guilty about waking them up

Tegan: Neat! Tell them I said hi - they then heard the speaker calling for Kyle's flight

Kyle: I'm sorry but I really have to get going - he kissed her forehead but before be could go he felt Tegan clinging to his arm

Tegan: Just text me when you get back home, pretty please? - she put on her best puppy eyes

Kyle: Deal - he then caressed her cheek before they kissed

Kyle: I love you, but I have to go

Tegan: Love you too - she then watched him go through customs while they waved at each other and Tegan blew a kiss and Kyle grabbed it

Kyle's mind: Best girl I could ever get - he then went through the metal detector and lost sight of her

13 hours later
Orlando, Florida
10 AM

The plane landed in the Orlando airport and, after passing migrations and getting his bags, he made it to the arrivals gate where he started looking for the Garganos as they were supposed to come pick him up. He started looking for them but couldn't find neither Candice or Johnny so he decided to text him

Kyle: I'm at the arrivals gate, where r u?

Johnny: On the van, Candice is already there

Kyle then looked back up and noticed a tiny blonde woman jumping up and down to his right

Candice: Kyle! Over here! - she said in between jumps, making Kyle giggle slightly as he went to her

Kyle: Candice! - they embraced in a tight hug

Candice: Kyle! How are you? - she hugged back

Kyle: Knackered - he then pretended to fall asleep on his feet

Candice: *giggles* Plane rides aren't your best friend aren't they? - Kyle shook his head - poor you let's go to the van, Johnny is waiting in the parking lot

They then got to the car and met Johnny on the driver seat

Johnny: Kyle! What's up dude? - they shook hands 

Candice: Johnny! He's tired, have some consideration! - she told her husband

Johnny: Oh shit sorry Kyle - he quickly apologized

Kyle: *giggles* Don't worry you didn't know *yawns*

Candice: It's okay you can have a nap, but if you don't mind how was the UK?

Kyle: Oh it was great, both Cardiff and London were beautiful and I got to be with Tegan so neat!

Johnny: Great to hear, heard the news you're moving together, hooray for the couple!

Candice: Really? Yay! - she clapped in excitement - do we take you to the new apartment, wherever that is?

Kyle: Nah, I still have to get my stuff in the old one plus I have to go to the animal shelter to pick up Huff and Puff, they must have missed me

Candice: Awww you're going to meet your boys back? How sweet!

Johnny: Sorry to cut the topic but out of curiosity where are you moving with Tegan?

Kyle: We're actually switching places with Dakota. She's moving with Shayna, Mia and Jess so I come in and we're getting a king size bed for her room and turning the spare room into a game room

Johnny: Dude that's awesome! - a cheeky smile showed in Kyle's face

Kyle: Yeah, we talked about getting a game room as something she really wanted before and now it's happening... - he then paused, suddenly remembering something

Candice: Everything alright Kyle?

Kyle: Shoot I forgot to text Tegan I got here safe, want to say hi?

Johnny/Candice: Sure! - Kyle then started recording and audio for Tegan

Kyle: Hi sweets, just wanted to inform you I made it to Orlando safe, I'm a bit tired but nothing a kip won't help and I'm with Johnny and Candice now

Johnny: Hi Teg how's everything going?

Candice: We miss you! - she blew a kiss

Kyle: You heard her. Want to FaceTime later? Love you and miss you already, bye love - he then finished the audio. Tegan read it a few seconds later and replied

Tegan: 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘

Kyle: Those are lots of kisses

Tegan: Just a few of the ones I have saved for you

Tegan: Miss ya already

*A few hours later*
Kyle went to the animal shelter to pick up Huff and Puff and back to his home. He then turned on the TV when he got a notification

Tegan wants to FaceTime

Kyle then picked up the call and saw Tegan on her Cardiff apartment's bed

Tegan: Hi luv! - she waved to the camera

Kyle: Hi powerpuff girl! How's everything going?

Tegan: Mint, how bout you? Did you get some sleep in the plane?

Kyle: *Giggles* What did you just say? Mint? - He tilted his head in confusion

Tegan: Add it to the slang dictionary, it means cool

Kyle: Gotcha - before he could say anything else Huff and Puff came in running and jumped into the couch with him

Kyle: Aww hi buddies! I missed you too! - he hugged both dogs tight while Tegan looked at the scenes, Absolutely heartwarmed

Tegan: Awww you got your dogs back? I'm sure they missed you too

Kyle: And I missed them as well - he put his arms around each dog and gave both a kiss before they puppy kissed him back

Kyle: Woah! Thanks guys - he couldn't help but laugh a bit

Tegan: *giggles* That was do sweet! I want a hug like that when I come back there - she childishly folded her arms

Kyle: You'll get one each morning if that's what you want - he said with a smile on his face as he winked and stuck the tip of his tongue out by the side

Tegan: *Giggles* Daft - she rolled her eyes while still laughing at his endearing antics

Kyle: So what were you doing?

Tegan: I was planning on Netflix and chill. I just came back from rehab so u thought it was a neat celebration plan

Kyle: How's that knee going? Better?

Tegan: Oh yeah way better. Doc says I could be good to go in little over a month if things keep going smooth

Kyle: Neat! So you're celebrating with a series marathon?

Tegan: Okay you know me too much - A small smile showed on her face - but I want to do this with you! - her smile now changed to a pouty lip

Kyle: Ugh, why do you have to be so far away? I need to kiss that face right now - he joked

Tegan: Just wait one week then, it'll be worth it

Kyle: Believe me, I know. Doesn't take away from missing you

Tegan: Awww same for you luv! I have to go now but see ya late mate! - she saluted

Kyle: *chuckles* Late mate - he then hung up

2 PM

Kyle made it to the arrivals gate of the airport, as Tegan's flight was landing in a few minutes, so to tease her a bit he decided to send her a photo of where he was

Tegan: I'm going!

Tegan: Just wait for me I got short legs

Kyle: 😂😂

Tegan: PSA: You are going to receive the biggest hug in the world courtesy of yours truly

Tegan: So be prepared

Kyle: 😂 It's been two weeks

Tegan: So? I still missed you horrors🥺

Kyle: Aww it's okay

Kyle: Missed you too

Tegan:🤭

Tegan: Also remember 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Kyle: Got it. See ya soon 😘

He then locked his phone again and shook his head with a grin on his face

Kyle's mind: She's the sweetest girl on earth, she has to be - he didn't have much time to be alone with his thoughts because just a pair of minutes later he felt a voice calling for him

Tegan: Kyle! - she started running towards him

Kyle's mind: Brace for impact in 3, 2, 1 - Tegan then jumped into his arms, wrapping him in the biggest, tightest hug she could and Kyle spun with her before Tegan got down

Kyle: You didn't lie when you said I was getting the biggest hug in the world - he put his palms on her cheeks

Tegan: *giggles* Nope and I'm not done yet! - she jumped into his arms again and squeezed him in a hug - I missed you so much! - she nuzzled her head on his shoulder

Kyle: Awww! I missed you too! - he hugged back

Tegan: I think you're forgetting something you said you wanted before - she said in a playful tone

Kyle: Oh yeah, silly me - he played along before showering her in kisses

Tegan: *giggles* That's more like it - she then snoozed

Kyle: The trip got you tired love? - Tegan weakly nodded

Tegan: Yup - she rested her head on his shoulder

Kyle: Aww, come on let's get going - he carried her, as well as her bags, to the car and got in. Just when he was about to turn on the car he noticed Tegan about to take a photo

Tegan: Say cheese luv! - Kyle then planted a kiss on her cheek, making her smile as she snapped it
