It all began a few years ago when I read 'The Future of Us.' The novel was set in 1996 as Facebook was discovered on an AOL Disk. While it was an interesting concept, it was a disappointing read. How could the author screw up something like this? 

As time went by, I wanted to write a story involving time travel, but couldn't really ground it into any good ideas. 

One day an idea struck me. What if an iPhone was discovered in the late '90s. Bam! I knew I had something. After much planning, I realized my idea was very similar to The Future of Us. Of course, it also had strong ties to 'Back to the Future.' Instead of focusing on McFly, we focus on his parents when they were young.
