flashback .. I clearly recall the night before

freaks staying over were doing chemobrew

at first I thought it was pretty funny

when I saw everyone walking around

dazed like robots .. their bodies visibly trembling

even one of my brothers .. coon dog

was on that shit .. he looked walking dead

perspiration was dripping all over him

deeply concerned he'd die from dehydration

i'd to hold him steady for a few minutes

poured cool water all over his face and head

even a quart of water i'd to pour 

down his throat .. alline helped me

hold him still just long enough

then he took off walking like a robot again

it was one chaotic hell of a scene

there wasn't one freak there

who wasn't totally fucked up

on that homemade chemobrew

except for me and alline

seriously, if it wasn't for the sinsimilla

she and I wouldn't have fallen asleep

fast forward .. even to this very day

I can't blur the bloodcurdling screams

that had escaped .. her howling that day

everything was completely fucked up

trauma she'd unwittingly experienced

was like an open wound not healing

I did the best thing I knew how to do

put her on a bus .. sent her back to texas

her tears flowed whilst I kissed her goodbye

reassured her again .. i'd try to get to texas

to visit her as soon as I can

I wasn't surprised in the least

when a taxi pulled up .. steve got out

alline actually smiled .. showing relief

someone she knew would ride with her

nervously she confessed steve's her friend

I can't express the relief I felt as I hummed

one of alan parsons project's songs .. I robot
