I couldn't die though i'd tried hard to

alline had been asking around town

about my whereabouts .. my safety

she'd touched my heart in a way

only she and i could understand

reckon I was past the worst part

i'd no idea what was yet to come

frenchman and kilo moved back to winnie

we shared rent again on a nice, roomy place

wasn't there no time ..i'd completely changed

related to alline .. she and I are over

cried when she left .. slammed the door

I was searching for the meaning of life

next six months I prayed daily in my closet

before finally .. a spiritual voice was heard

i'd been having nervous breakdowns

thought i'd simply end my miserable life

i'd lost everyone I love .. everyone

the spiritual voice in my closet

assured me i'd made the right decision

to search the spiritual world

I became calm somehow

during the next two weeks

the Great Spirit cast out of me

evil spirits, satan and a legion of demons

I began to feel cleaner inside

than i'd ever felt before .. then I began

started seeing things i'd never understood

the Great Spirit showed visions to me

when I was a child .. demons had entered me

flashback .. when i'd stolen my church tithe

tremendous guilt had soon followed me

many, many lies i'd been told

everything in life i'd done bad

came to surface .. momentarily

when i'd blasphemed .. cursed God

over my broken silver pocket watch

i'd known when i'd cursed it wasn't me

something bad was growing inside me

i'd no idea i was demon possessed
