Ring ring ring...

I lower the volume on my headphones.

Am I hearing something?

Ring ring ring...

"Oh," I say aloud, realizing the noise is, in fact, my cell phone ringing.

Incoming Call: Josh Dun

I quickly remove my headphones before pressing answer. "Yo."

"Hey, t'sup?" I hear my drummer friend's familiar voice greet me.

I look around my Ohio home's studio. The sight of speakers, my desktop computer and multiple instruments surround the dimly lit space.

I swear I've been locked in here for days now.

"Just goin' over some songs. You?"

"Oh, sweet. I can't wait to hear 'em." Josh replies enthusiastically.

"Yeah, man. I can't wait for you to add the drums." I say, grinning.

"Me too. I just wanted to call and tell you the aftermath of Broken Castle's meeting with Fueled By Ramen."

Oh wow, I forgot all about that. I remember (Y/N), the twins and Victoria all having a meeting with FBR to discuss the drama lately surrounding their band.

They came back to Josh's house around 8 PM that night saying FBR scheduled another meeting with them the next day to "further discuss the matters of the band".

I was leaving Columbus the next morning so I didn't get the chance to be there when they returned from said meeting.

"What's up?" I question Josh, curious.

"Well, FBR wasn't too happy with the drama surrounding Grayson and (Y/N)'s "dating" rumors and Grayson's recent outbursts of rage-"

I guess that's understandable.

"But, Victoria tried to turn the situation around to FBR saying that all this drama was actually a good thing." Josh states.

"How so?"

"Victoria basically said that the more drama surrounding the band, more attention would get drawn to them. You know like the phrase all press is good press?"

I nod before realizing Josh can't actually see me.

"Ah, I see."

"Yeah, so FBR was kinda starting to understand yet they still didn't like all the negativity Broken Castle's been receiving lately."

That would be difficult to deal with, Twenty One Pilots has had their fair share of untrue rumors in the past, sometimes it can be tough to stay silent but...you just gotta bite your tongue so you don't even more attention to the subject.

"So is everything okay now?" I ask.

"They gave Broken Castle a choice." Josh simply says.

"Uh, what is it?"

"They said either Broken Castle makes another best selling single soon or they're done." Josh deeply sighs.

"Dang, that's pretty rough. I believe in them though, (Y/N) is a good songwriter."

"Me too, I just get worried about (Y/N), I know she goes through a lot of pressure to make her songs. As I'm sure you can understand." Josh lets out a slight chuckle.

I give a sly smile.

"Oh, hey! While I've got you here I've been meaning to ask you something." I start a new subject.

"What's up?" Josh replies.

"How do you feel about Iceland?"
