-Your P.O.V-

Visiting Josh again was a strange feeling.

Parking my car, I exit the vehicle and approach the door to the L.A. house. I knock hesitantly.

Tyler and Jenna invited me over for dinner, I was about to reject before realizing I need to start doing more positive things. I can't live just sitting around waiting for something to happen. I need to make things happen.

Tyler opens the door as my thoughts are brushed aside.

"Tyler, hey!" I greet him with a hug.

"Hey, how are you?" He hugs me, patting my back.

"I'm...okay. How are you?" I enter the house with Tyler trailing behind.

He places his hands in the pockets of his yellow hoodie. "I'm alright." Ty forces a smile.

I smile back as well but a bit worrisome over Tyler. Jenna walks in, brushing her hands off on her jeans.

"Hey there!" She hugs me also.

I give Jenna a gentle squeeze before noticing the food.

"Wow, it looks delicious, Jenna!"

We all sit down before Josh comes downstairs.

He notices me and stops about halfway.

"Uh..hey." He takes another step down.

"Hey, come join us." Tyler offers.

Josh shrugs. "Alright."

Josh joins us at dinner. During a few uneasy silences I'd notice Josh giving me a sort of glare.

Not in a rude way though, he seemed almost curious.

Like he was trying to remember me..

After we ate, Josh went back to his lonesome room though we suggested he stay down here and just hang with the rest of us.

"Is Josh doing okay?" I ask, looking at Tyler.

Tyler takes in a breath. "I-I don't know. I think he will be. We just need to give him some time."

Jenna rubs her husband's shoulder and shows me a look of sympathy.

I grin sympathetically back.

Man, I wonder what Josh could even be thinking right now.

-Josh's P.O.V-

Who was she? I know her from some where. She's so familiar to me, it's driving me wild.

I grab onto the loose ends of my hair and try to think.

A sudden thought walks it's way into my head of what the guy living with me told me last night.

-FLASHBACK-

"Don't worry about trying to remember. Just live your life in the moment, Josh. Plus..."

"We can always make new memories."

-FLASHBACK END-

I groan.

I can't even remember who I am let alone somebody who lives with me. I can't...take this anymore.

Maybe that guy was right.

Maybe I just have to make new memories.

-Your P.O.V-

Getting ready to leave Jenna and Tyler, I start to head out the door.

"Hey..." Tyler stops me in my tracks. I turn back around.

"Wh-Why don't you...say goodbye Josh?" Tyler looks at the stairs leading to where Josh was.

I gulp.

"I-I know, it's tough. I just don't want Josh to feel sort of left out..you know?" Tyler turns back around.

"I understand...sure." I nod, taking my hand off the doorknob and slowly move to the steps.

Placing a hand on the rail, I tilt my head upwards.

God, I hope this won't be awkward.

One foot behind the other, I go up the stairs.

Eventually, I find myself standing in front of Josh's room.

The door closed completely.

I let out a sigh and shakily bring my hand to the knob.

"Josh?" I call out before entering.

No answer.

"Jooosh?" I call his name again.

Confused, I push myself into the room and find Josh isn't in there.

I look around.

Huh, must be in the bathroom or something.

About to exit, something catches my attention from the corner of my eye.

Josh's suitcase is on his bed, his clothes sprawled out.

What's he got this out for?

Inching closer, I observe everything.

His clothes, his shoes, and his...

passport.

"What are you doing?"

Turning around quickly, I notice Josh standing at his door.

"Uh, h-hey." I clear my throat.

He moves in closer.

Should I ask?

Uh...yeah.

"What's all this?" I move my attention to the pile on Josh's head.

He rubs the back of his neck.

"Uh...n-nothing don't worry about it." Josh stands in front of me, blocking my view.

Okay, question time.

"What do you plan on doing? Why do you have your passport-"

"It's nothing, okay? Why do you care?" Josh shrugs, annoyed.

"Because I lo-"

Oh, shoot, stop!

My eyes widen.

Josh tilts his head, lost.

Crap, I have to be more careful with my words.

"Because I just-I just do, okay?" I spit out an excuse.

Josh just sighs. "I..." He turns away.

"I'm running away."
