fourteen
-Tyler's P.O.V-
I take in a deep inhale through my nose and out my lips. I can't stand this anymore.
"Josh." I call out his name again as I step towards the drummer.
He clears his throat. "Yeah?" He lets out.
"You're saying you have no idea what you were just playing?" Trying to make the question perfectly clear, I ask him about it.
Josh just shrugs. "I mean...maybe?" He blinks, looking from me to Jenna. Jenna turns towards me, slightly disappointed.
I bite my lip.
See? Josh isn't here anymore.
My breathing grows heavier. "That's...That's our-"
Jenna grabs my forearm, pulling us into the other room.
"What are you doing?" She simply asks me, crossing her arms.
"Jenna, I can't take this anymore. He's playing our songs without even realizing!" I spit, trying to stop myself from completely flipping out.
"He just needs...time." Jenna tries her best at being re-assuring but I can't even listen.
I lean against the wall, shaking but trying to calm down.
"The old Josh..he's gone-"
"Hey, hey..." Jenna caresses my cheeks, turning me towards her. I stare into her eyes.
Jenna starts to show a smirk.
I squint. "What?" I ask, she just grins wider.
"I have an idea..."
-Your P.O.V-
I haven't left the house in a few days. I decided to give Grayson some alone time to go seek help, I've been texting him every now and then though just to check up.
Tyler hasn't called or texted either.
Guess Josh still hasn't recalled anything recently. Damn.
My phone vibrates on the kitchen counter, I reach for it to see the caller I.D.
"Oh." Pushing the 'answer' button, I begin a conversation. "Hey Brendon."
"Hey...How ya been?" Brendon answers from the other side.
I bite my lip, letting out a sigh. "I've been okay. How about you?"
"Good! Good...but, I-I just wanted to apologize." B's voice lowers.
"What for?" I ask the Panic! member.
I hear him breathe deeply. "I-I'm really sorry about what happened Josh-"
"Brendon, what happened was most definitely not your fault, you know that right?" I try to re-assure.
"I know, I know I just...can't help but feel bad. Especially because Josh is such a good friend of mine." He replies, confessing his feelings.
"I'm sorry, B." I console my troubled friend.
"Eh, that's okay. Thanks, (Y/N)."
"No proble-" My phone vibrates in the middle of our conversation, I check the screen then get back to Brendon.
"Oh, hey Brendon, lemme call you back."
"Sure. Stay safe, (Y/N)." He requests.
I grin before answering the other call.
"What's up Tyler?" I say to the singer.
"Hey, (Y/N)! So we have...news." Tyler lets out.
My eyes widen. "Uhhh...news?" I question what this could mean.
There's a lot of possibilites...
"You should come over." Ty suggests.
"Okay, now I'm really nervous. Sure, be over soon." I hang up before taking in a deep breath.
I'm sure everything's fine...right?
Knowing my life, probably not.
-Tyler's P.O.V-
"So...you guys really think this will help?" (Y/N) asks Jenna and I, leaning back into the sofa.
"Honestly, we're not sure. But, we hope so!" Jenna gleams, trying to keep a positive attitude.
"We've got nothing to lose really. You down?" I nod towards (Y/N), waiting for a response.
(Y/N) looks at me then Jenna, sighing.
"Yeah!" She flails her arms. "Why the heck not?"
"Awesome!" I turn towards the staircase.
Well, time to tell the amensia ridden boy.
-Josh's P.O.V-
I'm sitting in my room. Again. Because there is literally nothing to do when you have no memory of what you like to do.
Though I think I'm getting the hang of remembering who lives here...
There's Tyler...he's got tattoos and brown hair.
And his uh...wife...her name's uh...
Jenna! Yeah, that's it.
Then there's that Sunshine girl that comes over sometimes. I actually haven't heard from her in a while.
Hearing a knock on my door, I stand to answer it.
Swinging open the bedroom entrance, I flinch a little at everyone standing so close to me.
"Uh...hello?" I greet the crowd questionably.
"Here ya go." Tyler hands me a piece of paper.
"What's this?" I take the page, examining it.
"A ticket to Columbus, Ohio." He answers.
I look up and stare, still lost. Tyler makes eye contact with me.
"We're going home."
