RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME
(that make sense, i hope)

i've been tagged for these types of thing and never really did it hehe. but i guess since my birthday is coming up i have an excuse of some sort to talk about myself (?) but anyway, i hope you enjoy and/or learn something :)

1. i don't believe in "better late than never."

why not? the whole thing already sounds like a sad excuse. i'd prefer it if you didn't come at all because that would mean certainty. there's this conclusion, a finality that brings our internal questions, doubts to end. whereas when something's been late, it's like there's this hesitation. there's a moment of "should i?" or not. like you care, just not enough. it's saddening, because if you love something, it's either you choose yes or no for it. 

2. i'm an old soul stuck in a fifteen year old body

yeah no, i'm not so much of a pessimist if you got that impression from no. 1. i'm seriously just a grandma who wants to adopt cuties like you guys because i'm lonely and i have all these thoughts lool (plus  i dig the 80s music vibe omg)

3. i  love people but i will forever be awkward

i've overcome some of my shyness because of all the great, wacky friends i've met in my life but i sometimes, i still feel like a loner. i have those moments when i look away because i can't hold eye contact for so long (even if he/she is a good friend of mine)

4. i've experienced so many cultures that discrimination is a concept forever unintelligible to me

though i'm a filipino, i spent most of my life in the middle east, so i've met a lot of awesome, golden people. race, faith, and appearance?? i never knew those were supposed boundaries. i was a kid with friends, and that was that. i am so blessed and happy to have met them and be part of life. 

5. my favorite meat is beef

so if you're wondering what i'd like to eat for a fancy date it's steak *hint hint

6. i love my dad's jokes and dad jokes in general

7. i have the dying seal laugh

if you don't know what that is, it goes like this: imagine the 'HA-HA-HA' noise in your head then imagine it backwards so it's 'AH-AH-AH.' then, extend it so it sounds like a backward wheeze, speed it up, and there you have it. 'UOH-UOH-UOH' fast. it's not a big deal, really, but most of the time it's the only thing people miss about me. like "heyy, i miss your laugh!" and they say it in that way that makes it sound like a not-good thing. 

8. i used to hate on the fandoms i'm currently in

ah yes, i am such a phony. my main fandoms used to be hunger games, harry potter, (then k-dramas oks) and i thought i was better than everyone else in other fandoms. i used to say super pretentious things like "these wannabe jedi look so stupid with that force hand thing ugh" or "game of thrones? ugh what is it with people and their beastly desires" or "stupid rick and morty how do people stand their voices?!"

i never hated on anime though, or thought that k-pop dudes looked the same. i was neutral for them since the start. hehe. (i'm sorry, but i still dislike lang leav poetry to date. i cannot rant enough on that matter. but to give you a glimpse, it's not how she writes, it's what. ok.)

9. i'm in a band thing

okay so this is here because you guys have to know our band name. it's genuis, i'm telling you. okay, here's a clue: it's a sciENcE pUN. are you ready? 

it's called HYDROGEN BAND AHAHAHAHH

honestly, we're a band of geeks. lovable geeks okay. i play guitar/keyboard (depends on the set) and i'm well, main vocals. we don't have our own songs yet, though. we do covers. but we play 2-3 times a year in school and we join battle of the bands, though it's more of a fund-raising thing and there's no winners. ahh, yay us! <3
