One day before the events of Lullaby

Right now Naoki and Adam were walking down a path that was leading them into the next town. Both of them were quiet because of an argument they had earlier.

Earlier

Adam was looking at the window of shops and other stores.

Naoki: Could you please stay focused.

Adam: But there are so many things I want to look at.

Naoki: Still we have to get going. You can do it in your free time.

Adam: Ok Mr. bossy pants.

Naoki: What did you call me?

Adam: So called you bossy pants. Want me to try a better insult? How about striped body weirdo.

Naoki: Do you really want to get in an argument with me?

Adam: Look I'm just curious so let me be in awe.

Naoki: *sigh* Look if we don't get there then tones of people could die and you don't want that happening.

Adam: I don't but I just want to look around, besides it's the morning so we got time to kill.

Naoki: But if we kill to much time we won't make.

Adam: Dude just chill.

Naoki: Your impossible to deal with. Fine I'm just going to go on by myself.

Adam: Wait you cant just leave me!

Naoki: Either Shut up and follow or be left behind.

Adam: Fine...

In present time

And that's what happened. Naoki and Adam haven't talked to each other since they left the town.

Naoki: It's been a few hours and Adam hasn't talked. Did I really make him that mad?

Adam: Naoki sure has been quite, I've been quite to, I forgive him but I don't know how to. Both of us haven't talked to each other since we left.

Adam/Naoki: Ha-

Adam: You go first.

Naoki: Hay I'm sorry that I yelled at you earlier.

Adam: It's fine, it's just that we're in a different world so I wanted to check out the stuff here, I usually get carried away with stuff like-

Adam pauses for a moment.

Naoki: Adam?

Adam: Huh, it's like cant remember some things from my world, I know simple things like Tv shows and all that but I don't know anything about my past. Oh god...

He put his hand on his head and had a scared look on his face.

Adam: I don't remember that much. No family, friends, nothing, it's like everyone and every important event is just gone!

Naoki: Hay Hay Hay! Calm down, I'm sure your memories will come back.

Adam: I hope your right.

Naoki: Just don't focus on it to much or you won't be helpful.

Adam: That last part didn't sound nice.

Naoki: I know it didn't.

Adam: Hahahaha. Let's get going.

Both of them kept on walking. Adam was still wondering about his past, but then he started to think what Naoki's past was.

Adam: Hay Naoki, what's your past like? How did you get those powers?

Naoki stopped walking. There was serious aura around him. Adam stepped back because he didn't want to poke the tiger since it was a serious question to him.

Adam: Naoki?

Naoki: My past is something you do not want to here and do not want learn.

Adam: Oh sorry, did bad happen.

Naoki: Let's just say a lot of bad things happen and regret a lot of things I've done back there.

To explain Naoki's past his world was turned into a wasteland after it went through something call the Conception. Tokyo was transformed into the Vortex World and Naoki has to make his way through. But during his time there he was manipulated by the demon lord Lucifer and plunged the world and their universe into darkness after destroying Kagutsuchi. Naoki also killed his friends and some others as well. He regrets all the decisions he's done ever since he was manipulated.

Naoki: I'll tell you about it in the future ok. Now just doesn't seem like the right time.

Adam: Hay, If it's bad I won't shame you for what you did, I bet your a good person, I just know it.

Adam gives a smile.

Naoki: Thanks.

Naoki held out his fist and Adam give him a fist bump.

Naoki: Thanks Adam, I didn't have a lot of friends back in my world. But I hope I can make a lot here.

Adam: Yeah, we will make tones of bonds that can't be broken with a lot people. Now let's go destroy this "Lullaby" thing.

Naoki: Right. If we keep walking we may make it there in day.

Adam: Well then let's jog.

Adam started to jog. Naoki took his example and started to jog with him.

Adam: If we jog we may make it there a little faster.

Naoki: Yeah let's not run and save our energy.

Adam: Naoki, whatever happened to you in the past is in the past, whatever you did won't effect you know since we're both in another world. Even though I don't know my past I won't dwell on it. I don't care if you did something really terrible, and I bet you wouldn't care if I did something terrible. Now... Let's go take down this thing!
