Vaas Montenegro X Daughter Reader | One Shot (Grown Up)
Quick YummyGhost (A-N)
This is my first 'X Daughter Reader' so I hope it turns out as well as I expected. I never thought I'd write a 'X Daughter Reader' story but this random idea came into my head which is what you're about to read now. Hope you enjoy. :)
As a very young baby, you didn't have a clue that your life would change so soon and so badly. It's impossible for a small baby to remember their life at its start, but it's not impossible for your parents to remember what happened on that massacred night.
"ALRIGHT YOU LAZY, FUCK WITS GET UP! THAT BASTARD OF A TOWN DOWN SOUTH HAS SOME LOVELY SHIT THAT WILL SOON BELONG TO US!" Vaas shouted at his men to get their attention. "And what town is that?" A random pirate asked while sharpening his machete. "Amanika town, YOU SHIT HEAD! NOW ALL OF YOU GET ON THAT COPTER!" Vaas pulled a gun into his hand and pointed at the helicopter.
In a matter of minutes, a group of Vaas' men grabbed their weapons and ran straight for their seats on the helicopter. Vaas then joined them and took the place as co-pilot as he knew how to get to the town quicker.
Over to Anamika Town.
"(Your Mother's Name) GET IN THE HUT WITH (Y-N)! VAAS AND HIS MEN ARE LANDING NEARBY!" Your father ran towards your mother who was walking around the town with you in her arms. "WHAT?! HOW?!" Your mum tensed up as her husband sprinted closer to her. "One of Vaas' helicopters is landing at the side of the town, we must hide, lets go!" Your dad grabbed your mother's arm and took her back home. "Ok, but how are we going to keep (Y-N) quite?" Your mother noticed your loud terrified cry as she worried about your life. "We'll find a way. Let's just get to safety." Your dad opened your hut door and locked it behind him after everyone was inside.
About half an hour after Vaas' attack it was practically game over for your parents. Two of Vaas' pirates had slit their throat and chucked a petrol bomb inside so your mum and dad burnt and bled to death. Luckily, your parents had hidden you in a draw that was open a tiny bit... But everything was not good for baby you though, you were gonna die too, but just from the flames.
"Anything from that last hut, BECAUSE IT DOESN'T FUCKIN' LOOK IT?!" Vaas asked his two men with a huge roar at the end. "Shit." Both of them said at the same time. "AHH, I'M SICK OF YOU TWO FORGETTING TO SEARCH HUTS!" Vaas clenched his firsts and shot both of the useless pirates in the head from frustration.
"Benjamin follow me." Vaas chucked his gun to the ground on top of the two dead men while entering the burning hut with a well know pirate of his. "Yes Vaas." Benjamin follwed his boss and put his guns to a side too. "AHH WHAT'S THAT AWFUL CRYING?!" Vaas cringed as he stepped inside. "Sounds like a baby, Vaas. The couple must have had a newborn." Benjamin figured out and found you instantly. "Eww, kill it. It's worthless." Vaas shivered and searched the chests before they caught fire. "Err, I left my weapons outside, Vaas." Benjamin picked you up and searched the draw that you were in. "YOU'VE GOT A MACHETE ATTACHED TO YOUR BELT, YOU TWAT!" Vaas sliced out Ben's machete and put it too his throat. "Maybe, but I can't kill an innocent baby, it's evil." Benjamin cringed his eyes with a freaked out look. "Then what do you suggest we do then, leave it to burn?" Vaas questioned his main man. "Or we could take her in?" Benjamin suggested and guessed your gender from the pink blanket around you. "I bet this hut will collapse in two to three minutes. If you come out alive with some decent stuff before it collapses we'll keep this... thing, but it'll be your responsibility." Vaas offered Benjamin and pointed out as he left the burning place. "Deal." Benjamin nodded and started quickly browsing around.
Moments later Benjamin came running out of the caving in hut with a bag full for stuff and you in his other arm. Vaas didn't look impressed either. He just wanted rid of you as he knew a literal crybaby would be staying at his territory for quit some time.
"Well, a deals a deal, boss." Benjamin shrugged and gave the bag of valuables to Vaas. "I KNOW WHAT A DEAL IS! Now get in the dam helicopter before I put a bullet through your head too." Vaas pointed to the helicopter before it set off back to the camp.
"So what's with the crying baby?" A pirate asked while cleaned his knives. "Killing a baby is cruel isn't it?" Ben quoted his question. "I guess." The same pirate replied. "And there is your answer." Ben told the knife cleaning pirate and looked down at you. "I see, so how long we keeping it for?" The same man quizzed. "Till it's dead, which will be a day if I don't get a decent nights sleep tonight." Vaas came out of the cockpit of the helicopter and joined in on the conversation. "I wouldn't worry, Vaas. She has stopped crying now." Benjamin noticed that you'd stopped winging but had a rather petrifyed expression from fully grown insane men watching you. "It's a she?" Vaas raised an eyebrow. "She's in a pink blanket, the bracelet around her wrist has (Y-N) on it which I guess is a girls name and she does look like a girl." Ben listed the easy signals. "Give it a few hours and she'll start again." Vaas shacked his head. "Relax, you're worrying too much, boss." The knife cleaning pirate shrugged knowing everything will be alright.
Time Skips 8 Hours.
And hours later Vaas was right. You had started crying again and Benjamin was nowhere to be seen. It was three in the morning and most of Vaas' pirates were either asleep or on night duty elsewhere, and Vaas himself was asleep before you woke him up.
"THAT'S IT! BEN!" Vaas got out of bed and went over to Benjamin's room that was in the building from across him. "If you're looking for Benjamin he's doing security night duty with Hoyt. He asked me to look after (Y-N) but I said no." Mike told Vaas as he was chilling out in a hammock. "He named her?!" Vaas widend his eyes. "No, we just call her (Y-N) because that's what it says on her bracket; so we presume it's her birth name." Mike explained to Vaas. "Well no one will be calling her anything when I put a bullet in her skull." Vaas pulled back the ejection port on his gun and went over the Benjamin's place. "Whatever suits you." Mike said and couldn't care less with a bottle of booze in his mouth.
"WOULD YOU SHUT UP!" Vaas burst Ben's door down and aimed his gun at you. All of a sudden you then shut up and stopped crying instantly. "Now you shut it." Vaas lower his gun and took a step closer to you. You just kept your tired eyes wide open because you now knew what fear was. "What? WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!" Vaas asked you and folded his arms. Obviously, you didn't answer since you couldn't speak, but you did move your hand as if you were reaching out to Vaas. "You just lonely?" Vaas snarled his question. All you did was blink your eyes that began tearing up again. "No, no, no. No, more crying otherwise we're gonna fall out,.. (Y-N)." Vaas quickly picked you up with a panic. Straight after that you could feel someones warm comfortable arms that made you feel a lot safer and relaxed... Even though the man who was holding you is a complete lunatic and physcopath. "I think I have a plan." Vaas thought out and started walking back to his place.
"I thought you was gonna kill her?" Mike turned his head towards Vaas. "No, I've got a clue on what to do." Vaas mentioned and didn't stop to talk anymore.
So Vaas' plan was to go back to bed but with you in the same room as him. But first he had to find somewhere for you to sleep and an empty chest at the end of his bed was the best option. So Vaas plopped you inside the chest with the lid open and got back in his own bed/mattress since he was exhausted.
Minutes later when Vaas started to drift off, he was suddenly snapped back into reality when you began crying again.
"Nope." Vaas got up and rapidly picked you up again. Funnily, enough though you stopped crying and just watched Vaas. "You're kidding me right?" Vaas sighed as he simply found out that he had to be holding you for you to shut up and not just his presence.
So now Vaas had to be holding you for both of you to sleep, but at this point he didn't care. He just wanted you sleeping an himself sleeping. Surprisingly, his plan worked too. Five minutes later you were fast asleep on Vaas' body and Vaas joined you with an arm around you not long after that.
Time Skips to The Morning.
"Vaas,.. Vaas. Wake up!" Hoyt nudged Vaas and then slapped him awake. "WOAH! Not cool, man." Vaas woke up and shacked his head. "But this is?" Hoyt pointed at you who was watching this Hoyt man. "She's not mine." Vaas looked at you in the corner of his eyes and then focused on Hoyt. "Ohh yeah? Then why did you have a baby sleeping on you when I walked in?" Hoyt raised an eyebrow. "For a start why are you in here? And to answer your question, Hoyt. Your 'new night security man' Benjamin found her and wouldn't leave her. So I made a bet with him, I lost and she wouldn't sleep last night, so the only way for her to sleep is if someone is holding her." Vaas cringed as he hated telling his boss the most childish thing ever. "So your Mike and Ben weren't bull shiting then?" Hoyt chuckled at the truth. "Now if you don't mind, I'm going to give her back to the person who is responsible for her." Vaas picked you up and left his room with Hoyt following behind him.
"BENJAMIN!" Vaas yelled at the top of his lungs. "Morning." Ben casully greeted Vaas. "Take this piece of shit back before I shoot the pair of you." Vaas took his gun out and put it to your head. "You said you were gonna do that last night." Mike butted in with a joint. "Stay out of this, other wise it'll be a triple kill." Vaas fired his gun and shot Mike in the foot. "Woah, woah, woah, Vaas calm down. You'll scare the baby." Hoyt held his gun knowing things were going to get messy. "You're not wrong there." Ben took his handgun out too and bravely aimed it at Vaas.
Then you started screaming and crying from the loud voices and gunfire that was going on, there was also a lot of pressure on you too since you were in the middle of three men aiming guns at each other.
"See Vaas, look at what you've done!" Hoyt raised his voice in anger a little. "Fuck this shit!" Vaas shot Ben in the knee that took care of one problem. That then made you cry even louder. "That's what you get for pulling a gun at me, motherfucker. Also, consider yourself lucky, because if you weren't important, then that bullet would have gone through your head, asshole." Vaas mentioned to Benjamin who held his knee in agony on the ground. "Vaas?" Hoyt told Vaas to turn around. "What?" Vaas turned around and faced Hoyt. "Calm down, and take the gun away from the baby's head." Hoyt pointed out with his gun locked on Vaas. "Don't you see, I don't have time for this?" Vaas questioned his boss that he couldn't really answer. "Maybe. But it's cruel to kill a baby. If you don't look after her, I'll shoot you dead where you stand then feed your body to the dogs. So drop that pretty little gun of yours." Hoyt gave Vaas a crazy smile and gave him clear instructions.
Vaas then dropped his gun to the ground with a load of embarrassment and hatred. Vaas couldn't stand being in this position which felt like he was being cornered by a baby that was only a few weeks old.
"Good, man. You should know that a baby may be a bit TOO far to kill, even though we both have killed multiple babies and children before, but you have to admit, this little girl here is pretty cute." Hoyt lowered his gun and walked over to Vaas while cooing over you a little bit. "You take care of her then." Vaas held you out to Hoyt. "I'm good thanks." Hoyt shacked his hands and then stepped away.
Time Skips to Age 2.
You're now two years old and fully capable of walking around and almost capable of having a conversation with people. You understood what Vaas, Hoyt and his pirates would be saying, you just struggled on replying to them. Surprisingly, you had grown on Vaas and he did treat you like his very own daughter, but you didn't stop him from being the crazy mentalist he was. He still shouted, injured and killed people, just not around you; that also meant that Vaas still did his usual job every day, he just got his men to look after you if he couldn't.
"Benjamin look after (Y-N). Micheal look after Benjamin. And random wild dog that attacks every fucker look after these two idiots." Vaas passed you to Benjamin who was like an uncle to you, then patted a rottweiler on his way out that was viciously barking at you. "Will do." Ben sat you on his lap and passed his cigarette over to Mike. "So you're looking after her again?" Mike questioned and started smoking what Ben gave him. "Yeah, I don't mind though. You get to watch T.V. and check up on the kid every now and then. Plus, (Y-N) is at that age where you can teach her funny stuff that annoys Vaas." Ben rubbed his hands together and had something in mind. "Ohh yeah, like what?" Mike thought to ask. "She now knows how to pick up a knife and stab something." Benjamin casually answered. "Nice, I bet not many two year olds can do that." Mike chuckled and seemed rather impressed. "Yeah, I'm thinking about teaching her how to shoot a pistol next." Ben thought out loud. "Or we could get high." Mike suggested and held a joint up. "Yeah, let's do that instead." Ben smiled and put you on the floor.
Then straight away you got up, and walked over to the barking doggy that was chained up at the other side of Ben's room. As you got closer to the rottweiler, it just started barking even louder and pushed himself closer to you. But you just laughed and clapped at the dog... That wasn't till the dog's chain snapped and almost bit your face. So in response you picked up a knife that was randomly lying on the floor and stabbed the dog in the front paw. The rottweiler let out a massive wimper and lied down on the floor in front of you with huge puppy eyes.
"Woah, was that the weed or did (Y-N) just get the guts to stab Sparkle?" Mike turned around behind him and noticed the knife in the dog's paw. "(Y-N) stabbed him." Benny inhaled some more weed and puffed it out. "She's got Vaas' insanity trait." Mike nodded at your work. "I know right, and they're not even related." Benjamin chuckled and had a look at you for himself. "Dare you to take the knife out." Mike dared his co-worker. "Get fucked. I'm looking after Vaas' 'kid' here. Come on (Y-N) let's get you away from the doggy." Ben put the term kid in air quotes with his fingers and attempted to pick you up,.. but something seemed to be stopping him.
For some reason the massive dog that was at least three times your size had gone protective over you. Even though you just stabbed it in the paw, Sparkle just growled with his white and yellow teeth together at Benjamin.
"I think I'll leave her where she is?" Benjamin easily nodded and back away. "Yeah, I would. Don't want your hand getting chewed off." Mike agreed with his friend and turned back around.
Time Skips 5 Hours.
"Benny, Micheal? Why does the dog have a knife though it's paw?" Vaas came up behind Ben and Mile who were on the edge of falling asleep. "(Y-N) did it." Ben looked behind himself again and answered Vaas. "Ok. Now, why did she have a knife?" Vaas quizzed that woke up his men a little. "Dunno... Guess it was just on the floor." Benny shrugged and tensed up from some wild shouting. "Ok. Last question. Why THE FUCK is (Y-N) asleep on that vicious beast?! It could have her dead in seconds!" Vaas yelled a fair bit and woke you up. "We tried to pick her up but we just got a pair of teeth growling at us." Benjamin put his point across with a clear answer.
So Vaas then had to prove his point by pulling the knife out of the dog's paw and getting you back in one piece. Vaas got the same attitude Benjamin got, but Vaas had less saintly than him so of course he was gonna say something if he got dog teeth in his face.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Vaas shouted at the pooch while holding the knife at his face and you in Vaas' free arm. "Yeah, shut the fuck up!" You copied Vaas and smiled cheerfully. "Err?.." Vaas cluelessly looked at you and dropped the weapon. "We didn't teach her that." Ben held his hands up as he was actually innocent this time. "Shut the fuck up." You said again and leaned comfortably on Vaas. "Brilliant." Mike chuckled and clapped a little. "Fancy saying that to Uncle Hoyt when he annoys the shit out of me tomorrow?" Vaas insanely smiled at you. "Shut the fuck up." You said again and covered Vaas' face with your tiny tobbler hands. "Ohh shit." Vaas sighed knowing what he'd got himself into.
Time Skips to Age 6.
Now that you're practically classed as a child that could walk, run, talk and defend yourself, you still had you life with Vaas and his pirates which was enjoyable to you. But you only saw your pretend dad late at night, you still loved spending time with him even though he was clearly insane, mental and inappropriate, but you just found it funny because you're a child and don't know any better. The things you did with Vaas made your life feel invincible. He taught you how to shoot all sort of guns, multiple stabbing techniques, how to tie up people and animals, how to throw a grenade with all sorts of other things, but Vaas did have rules. You were allowed to carry a knife with you at all times to protect yourself, but if you ever went out, Vaas or his men would be with you so they basically protected you. As for guns, you were only allowed to have one in your hands if you were being supervised.
"(Y-N)?!" Vaas called you as he came into your view. "Vaas. Are you still going to teach me how to throw petrol bombs like you promised?" You ran up to him and looked up at Vaas with an excited look. "Yep, come on let's go." Vaas grinned and picked you up. "Where are we going?" You asked as Vaas left the camp with you. "Just down onto the beach." Vaas pointed as there were a few huts on there that seemed like no one lived in them anymore. "Did these huts belong to people?" You questioned Vaas. "Yes, but they were bad people who were trying to fuck with daddy's and Uncle Hoyt's business." Vaas kind of honestly told you and put you on the ground. "Ohh ok, let's burn them." You shrugged and looked at the hunts from a distance. "That's my girl. So what you want to do is throw this like a grenade but quicker, because the glass bottle will get hot and if you drop it you're most likely going to burn alive." Vaas picked up a petrol bomb and showed you it at your hight. "Don't you need to light it?" You quizzed and pointed at the white bit popping out of the bottle. "Yep, a lighter or match will do and once it's lit, you throw it like a grenade." Vaas pulled out a lighter and demonstrated by chuckling the bomb at one of the huts. "Awesome." You picked up a bomb yourself. "Now just get a bit closer because you're a lot smaller than me and do what I just did." Vaas handed you his lighter and sat behind you.
So you confidently lit the petrol bomb and hurled it towards a hut, it hit where it was suppose to go, but just a little bit to the side.
"Try again on that other hut, just a little too far out that one." Vaas passed you another bomb and pointed at the hut that wasn't in flames yet. "Ok." You took the petrol bomb and tried again. "Vaas, Vaas. We have some assholes attacking the camp and they're after you!" One of Vaas' men came running up behind Vaas. "WAIT!.. I need to see this." Vaas held a hand out and kept his eyes on you.
On your second attempted you got the bomb straight though the door on the hut and Vaas gave out a crazy insane cheer.
"WOO, HOW MANY SIX YEAR OLDS CAN DO THAT, MOTHERFUCKER!?" Vaas clapped and walked up to the pirate who was behind him. "Do we have to go now?" You sighed knowing what was going on. "I do, because they camp is uder attack, but you can stay here with... Mike and do something." Vaas casually smiled and looked over his shoulder to see which pirate it was. "I'm Mick, Mike died last week." Mick announced. "Shit, from what?" Vaas turned around and questioned. "Tiger ate him alive." Mick cringed with his answer. "Rest in pieces, Mike. To be honest though, I'm not really bothered. Everyone looks the fucking same with these shades and scarfs on your faces... Now, look after (Y-N) and make sure she doesn't go swimming with the fishies or whatever." Vaas gave Mick clear orders and ran back to the camp with a hand gun at the ready.
Time Skips 30 Minutes.
"Mick, I'm bored. Can we go home now?" You groaned and lied out on the sand. "Not till your dad has stopped yelling, can't be long now though." Mick looked up at the camp noticed that there was more of Vaas' yelling than shooting. "What handgun do you have?" You noticed the fancy gun at the side of Mick. "HS2000 be careful though it's loaded." Mick passed you his gun and kept an eye on you.
"Mick!" Benjamin called him from another side of the beach with a dog on the chain. "Benny." Mick turned around and took a few steps forwards his friend. "Vaas said you can bring (Y-N) back now." Ben told Mick and leaned forwards as Sparkle seemed rather excited to see you.
*BANG* You pulled the trigger on the gun you had in your hand and tensed up in shock.
"I thought Vaas said to supervise (Y-N) if she has a gun?" Benjamin widend his eyes at Mick. "I literally turned around for two seconds!" Mick panicked and rushed over to you. "(Y-N), are you hurt?!" Ben and Mick kneeled down to your height and had a look to see if you were injured. "Awch." You lifted your left hand up and noticed your pinky finger was missing. "HOLY SHIT!" Benny held his face and let go of Sparkle's chain. "VAAS IS GONNA KILL ME!" Mick quickly took his vest off and covered the wound up straight away with shacking fear. "NEVER MIND THAT, FIND THE FINGER AND WE MIGHT BE ABLE TO PUT IT BACK ON!" Ben planned and had a look round. "Sparkle has just eaten it." You pointed out with your other full hand. "Ohh crap." Ben and Mick dropped their jaws and watched the dog lick around his mouth.
"HEY, YOU USELESS, FUCKS! IT DOESN'T TAKE TEN MINUTES TO WALK BACK TO THE CAMP! WHAT'S THE HOLDUP?!" Vaas shot his gun in the air and got all of your attention. "Crap, it's Vaas." Benjamin stood up and searched for the dog that was sprinting at Vaas.
Vaas just easily shot the dog in the face as he had the feeling he'd done something and then ran straight past the dead dog over to you.
"What happend?" Vaas quired Benjamin and looked down. "Mick wasn't watching (Y-N) while she had his gun, (Y-N) accidentally shot her little finger off, Sparkle ate (Y-N)'s finger and you killed my dog." Ben listed to his boss and stepped back. "YOU FUCK!" Vaas roared at Mick and shot him at least five times in the body, with it then killing him. "Vaas?" You started tearing up as you held the vest on your finger. "It's ok. It's just a useless little finger and it's that assholes fault for not watching you. Benny, get a nurse, doctor, medic or what ever." Vaas held your bleeding hand and gave Ben some simple orders. "Ok." Benny nodded and ran back to the camp.
Time Skips to Age 13.
Now it's official, you are now a teenager and the world seemed a lot bigger to you now. You still lived with Vaas as he stilled cared and looked after you, but the world only seemed bigger to you now because you were fully capable of handling all weapons you were given with the wilderness outside of your home. If Vaas told you to pick out an AK47 and shoot a bear you'd be able to do it, if Hoyt told you to pick up a green tree python, you'd search all of the snakes on the island and find one. You still had much more to learn from Vaas, but for a young teenager to know how to handle knives, build and use guns, to make equipment from animals skins was extremely impressive, even some of Hoyt's fully grown men struggled to reload a RPG.
"Now then, (Y-N). Soon as you're officially classed as a teenager and soon as Vaas is doing some 'important' shit back at his side. It's my responsibility to look after you." Hoyt sat down in his office and put his feet up. "In other words Vaas just got a load of useless slaves and doesn't want me watching him murder them." You corrected Hoyt. "I really shouldn't agree to that, but yes that is basically true." Hoyt nodded and looked down to the side. "I don't see why Vaas doesn't want me seeing that stuff though. I've killed people myself and I didn't find it scary or anything, yeah it was weird at first, but now it's like something I'll do every week." You folded your arms and took a seat in Hoyt's office. "That's not the point though, (Y-N). Vaas is head mental and basically lost his sanity before you were even born. But it doesn't stop Vaas from having respect for you; and I know you see Vaas as you dad and a softy to you, but if you saw him tutoring people you'd have nightmares and see him the way others see him." Hoyt honestly told you and got a fair point across. "He's really that bad?" You raised an eyebrow.
"Yep, but that doesn't mean good old Uncle Hoyt can't have a laugh with you for a couple of hours." Hoyt clapped his hands together and picked up a box that he put on the table. "What are we doing, shooting some new guns or something?" You questioned and had a look at the box. "Not quite, I've been experimenting with different weed flavours and Uncle Hoyt here got a bit high, and didn't label the bags with different flavours in it..." Hoyt started telling you his little story of his new money making plan. "And you want us the smoke different flavours so we know what is what?" You guessed to Hoyt. "Yes... There are five bags, that have no labels, look the same and kinda smell the same." Hoyt opened the box showing you the different types of weed. "Won't Vaas shout at me for getting high though?" You questioned Hoyt and had some very big doubts about this. "Of course not, you're basically his daughter, I'm his boss and I'm pretty sure Vaas got high at a younger age than you." Hoyt slid a lighter across to you and passed you the first bag. "You have a point." You shrugged and just did it anyways.
Time Skips 30 Minutes.
"Well?" Hoyt asked you as you were on the third bag. "I don't know, I'm concentrating on floating and thinking about this wasp in front of me." You comfortably leaned back in your seat and pointed at the wasp. "That's no wasp. (Y-N), stay still." Hoyt had a look at the insect himself and noticed what it was. "Why?" You tried to touch the flying bug that was pretty far away from you face. "It's one of those Yak Killer Hornets, now Vaas would try to kill me if that would have touched you." Hoyt loaded his gun and managed to shoot the gun without killing you. "That was sooooooooo close." You tensed up with a rather surprised look. "It was at least a meter away from your face, plus I know how to shoot a gun so I don't shoot my finger off." Hoyt commented to you and wiggled his little finger. "I was six years old, I didn't know any better." You mumbled an gazed at where you finger was.
"Haha look, it grew back." You smiled and waved you're hand in Hoyt's face. "I'm putting that down as mushroom flavored weed." Hoyt listed and labelled the bag. "Ohh yeah I knew that,.. It also tastes like shrooms." You grinned and stood up from your chair. "Stay sat down you'll end up damaging yourself... Wait,.. How do you know what shrooms taste like?" Hoyt sat you back down and then watched you because of your words. "Yeah, you know those little red mushroom things with white dots?" You questioned in a cocky tone. "Yeah..." Hoyt nervously relied. "Yeah I ate two of them a while back." You grinned. "No wonder you were a sick child." Hoyt sighed and shacked his head.
Time Skips a Couple of Hours.
"(Y-N)? You still conscience?" Hoyt walked back into his office with you still sat in your chair. "I think I'm dying." You mumbled and held your chest. "You'll be fine. Come on, let's go." Hoyt stepped in front of you and pulled you up. "Where we going?" You groaned and gazed up at Hoyt. "Some Privateers are taking you home." Hoyt told you and escorted you to the helicopter.
"Right then. Don't touch her, make sure she doesn't fall out of the helicopter or die and make sure Vaas doesn't kill you because I got his daughter stoned. Understood?" Hoyt helped you into the helicopter and gave straight orders to his men. "Yep." His men answered. "Good." Hoyt patted your shoulder and jumped out of the copter before if set off.
Once you landed back at Vaas' camp, some of the weed had worn off so you wasn't as bad as you was back at Hoyt's place. Your plan was to go straight to your room, because you really didn't want Vaas to see you in this state... Even though he was addicted to drugs himself. Speaking of Vaas being a drug addict, as you were on your way to your room, you noticed Vaas' door was wide open with him lying out on the floor.
"Vaas?" You stepped in Vaas' room with a bit of a worry. Vaas didn't answer you, so you ran straight up to him. "Vaas, it was funny when I was a kid, but not anymore." You checked to see if Vaas was breathing... And he wasn't. "VAAS, WAKE THE FUCK UP!" You pulled out your gun and shot it a few times to see if that did the trick.
"What the fuck was that?!" One of Vaas' pirates from outside questioned. "(Y-N) or Vaas are shooting something. Best go have a look." Benjamin mentioned and looked up at the rooms that were high up.
The next thing you knew was Benjamin and three other pirates behind you doing CPR on their boss and your dad.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" One pirate blurted out in pure surprise. "Jodido infierno, Vaas debe haber tenido una sobredosis de drogas!" Another pirate pointed out and spoke in Spanish. "I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SAYING, NO NEED TO SPEAK SPANISH!" You looked over your shoulder while doing chest compressions on Vaas. "(Y-N) just keep doing what you're doing and don't stop. If you get too tired I'll take over." Ben kneeled down behind you and kept you calm.
After doing CPR for what must have been twenty minutes, Vaas started come round a little. You could hear him groan in pain because of the pressure you were putting on his chest and you could see his face tensing up a little, but his eyes were still shut, so you carried on going.
"Fuck sake, Vaas. You're taking the piss now." You mumbled out loud with your aching arms and the odd tear coming out of your eye. Then a couple of seconds later, Vaas coughed and opened his eyes being fully conscience now. "Shit the bed, what happened?" Vaas sat himself up and held his head. "VAAS!" You went in and tightly hugged Vaas once he sat up. "Well done, (Y-N)." Benny stood up in relief. "Someone tell me what happened!" Vaas started to get agitated and put his arms around you for comfort. "You had a drug overdose so I did CPR on you for twenty minutes and now my arms are really hurting." You answered Vaas while looking up at him with your eyes filling up with tears. "Thank you... Wait a minute, are you high?" Vaas rubbed your back to distress you and then noticed the red eyes and smell of weed on you. "I poked myself in the eyes when I saw Uncle Hoyt earlier on today." You made up the perfect excuse and hoped you'd get away with it.
"That is the best and funniest excuse I've ever heard." Benjamin couldn't help but laugh out loud as he knew you was stoned. "For fuck sake, Hoyt." Vaas sighed and didn't bother for shouting at you for getting stoned.
Time Skips to Age 16.
Now that you're a tiny bit older, you're allowed more freedom and control of yourself. Vaas still made sure you were alright though. If you went out for a drive, he'd make sure you were driving safely with the car in good condition.
On the current day you're on now, you were sat on the beach underneath a pine tree with a bottle of water in your hand. It was only in the middle of the day so you had plenty of time to chill out before you had to go back to the camp. In the distance you saw a boat that must have had four or five people on it. So you stood up and and went over to the water as the boat was pulling up onto shore.
"See I told you someone would be here." A man spoke as he jumped off the boat. "Yeah, some kid who is most likely lost." Another boy spoke and stood up. "I'm not lost, I live here." You shacked your head and spoke. "What how? On an island in the middle of nowhere, doesn't it get boring?" The guy who jumped off the boat walked closer to you. "Chris, stay back!" A girl who looked your age stopped her friend.
"Why?" Chris stopped and turned around. "She has a gun sticking out of her trousers and a knife in a pocket attached to her belt." The girl pointed out and noticed you were armed. "Ohh shit, she does and all." Chris stepped back and held his hands up. "I'm basically harmless, I just use these to defended myself from dangerous animals here." You shrugged and held you gun in one hand and your knife in the other. "How did you lose your finger?" Another voice popped up and asked you. "I shot it off by accident when I was six." You casually answered and looked at where your finger was. "Err." All of the travellers let out. "How old are you if you don't mind us asking?" Chris questioned you. "Sixteen." You answered and put your weapons away. "And you're handling heavy dangerous weapons?" Chris followed up with. "Yeah, ever since I was two apparently." You easily answered him. "Wow, what drugs are your parents on? If my mum saw me with a potato peeler she'd freak out." The girl put out there. "My parents are dead." You put straight forward. "Ohh... sorry to hear that, I guess." She then widened her eyes and apologised.
"Look I'm Chris, this here is Titus, Conor and this girl is Zarina. My friend Titus got his license to drive a boat and we're lost and short on suppliese." Chris told you the reason why there were on Vaas' island. "So?" You asked while nudging your eyebrows up. "Can you help us?" Zarina blurted out. "Zarina, be more polite, she could have our brains out in seconds." Conor nudged his friend and pointed out that you seemed rather irritated by this girl. "Sure thing... I'll help you, follow me." You looked at Conor then back at Zarina and turned around back to your car.
"I don't know about this, Chris. Can we trust her, she looks pretty crazy." Conor held Chris' should back to talk to him. "We're all alone and need help. This girl is our last hope otherwise we'll just die at sea." Chris honestly mentioned to his friend and then started following you again. "You four coming? Three in the back and one in the front. I've got better stuff that needs doing today." You called them over and started up your car. "I guess, but if we end up dead I'm gonna kill you again in Hell." Conor went with his stomach and got in the back of the car.
"So you can also drive?" Titus closed the car door behind him as he was the last on in. "Yep and if I were you I'd put your seat belts on. To you not wearing it might be cool, but it's not so cool when someone you know drove a car at eighty miles an hour, crashed into a rock, smashed though their window and died once they snapped their neck." You started the car and hinted that you'd be going at a similar speed. "Did that really happen though?" Chris questioned you and clipped himself in. "Yep, was a shame, he was a nice person." You put your foot down and started driving. "Do you have a licence?" Titus quired you and leaned forward. "Of course not." You peeked in the front mirror and answered him. "Isn't that obvious? She's sixteen. Where we cone from she can only drive bikes and scooters." Zarina crossed her arms and sighed. "Do me a favor would you." You stopped the car and looked in the mirror again. "What?" Zarina sighed again and rolled her eyes. "SHUT THE FUCK UP! I could kill you if I really wanted to, but no, I'm helping you,.. So shut the fuck up!" You pulled out your gun and pointed it at Zarina that seemed to have woke her up. "I think I'll get out now." Conor reached for the door with Titus. "OI, stay seated other wise things are gonna get messy." You aimed your gun at the two dudes in the back. "Ok, ok." Titus held his hands up and remained seated.
After your fourty five minute car drive back to Vaas' camp that was rather quiet and awkward in a way. None of the travelers said a word and didn't even make a sound till you stopped the car.
"Here we are. Stay here, while I get someone to let us in." You stopped the car and got out with your keys.
"Ok, Chris we need to run NOW. This girl is gonna hurt us or even worse." Conor tapped Chris on the shoulder that snap him back into reality. "I know, she's bonkers." Chris attempted to open his door. "Mine won't open either." Zarina tried hers and it didn't nudge. "Crap." Chris sighed and rested his head back. "Well maybe Zarina just pissed her off too much and this is how she reacts. She might actually be trying the help us." Titus mentioned and tried to look on the good side. "Yeah, what help are we gonna get from Snipers on the roof." Zarina pointed out and noticed the guards. "Fuck... We're fucked." Conor closed his eyes and covered his face.
"Ok, let's get you all sorted." You got back in the car and drove though to the middle of the camp and stopped the car with the doors now unlocked. "What do we have here then, (Y-N)? You really wasn't lying when you said travelers came onto the island." Vaas walked up to you and put an arm around your shoulders.
"Ohh crap this looks bad." Titus looked out of the window and watched pirates surround the car. "He looks even crazier." Zarina commented and had a look herself. "I know right. Looks like we're done for guys." Chris said and kept himself inside the car.
"Hola, you four. Come out, we won't hurt you." Vaas opened the back car door for the travellers. "He said he won't hurt you so get out!" You folded your arms and raised your voice. "No, we'll stay in here thanks." Titus grabbed the door and shut it. "Talk about a piece of rude shit." Vaas raised his eyebrows.
"HEY! YOU LITTLE FUCKS! GET OUT OF THE CAR RIGHT NOW BEFORE I PETROL BOMB THE SHIT OUT OF IT AND GET MY BOYS TO SHOOT YOU ALL TO YOUR DEATH!" Vaas punched the car window open and snatched Titus' neck so he started turning blue. "Ok, ok we'll come out." Conor gave in and agreed to come out. "Brilliant. BENNY, ORLANDO, MATTY, JAKE You all know what to do!" Vaas called out some pirates and gave them commands on what to do. "W-what you gonna do with us?!" Zarina stuttered and got caught by Benjamin. "You'll see." You insanely laughed just like Vaas and kicked the girl in the face. "NICE!" Vaas impressingly looked at you and patted your back.
Time Skips to 2am.
Right now the four travelers were all in cages covered in cuts, starving, dehydrating, wide awake and petrified to fuck from what was happening. The four men Vaas called out to take care of them made them all freeze and not say a word. As for you, you couldn't sleep so you went for a walk around the camp. Benny was awake so you went to go talk to him soon as he was on a night shift.
"Y-you. Help me... Please." A terrifyed female voice called out. "No I'm good." You shrugged and carried on walking. "Please. I'm sorry if I came across as a bitch earliey. I didn't mean it." Zarina announced to you. "Don't care. I do what my Dad does and what help my Uncle out." You turned around and put your head in between the bars. "I thought your parents were dead?" Zarina questioned you with a cough. "They are. The man who found me as a baby sixteen years ago is basically my only father figure, and the man who I claim is my uncle is actually my fake dads boss/close friend so he's like an uncle to me if you see where I'm going?" You explained to Zarina and hinted Vaas and Hoyt to her. "So that mentalist with the scar down his face took you in and raised you?" Zarina raised her eyes. "Yep. Now if you don't mind I'm busy." You nodded and turned around.
"NO! PLEASE!" Zarina rattled the rope around her wrights and screamed. "HEY! SHUT THE FUCK UP! SOME OF US ARE AT WORK IN FOUR HOURS! " Vaas came out of his room and yelled his usual. "I know we're in a drug and slave business, but can I kill her, please?" You took your knife out at the ready. "Err no. Hoyt is expecting four slaves to be transfered to his place tomorrow. Remember what happened last time?" Vaas replied to you and shacked his head. "But she brought up my dead parents." You sighed and lowered your shoulders. "Go on then. I'm sure your uncle will understand." Vaas smiled and leaned over the balcony to see what you were gonna do. "Benny, do we still have those rabid dogs?" You walked over to Benjamin and whispered in his ear. "Yeah, think they're asleep in that same cage." Ben answered you. "Brilliant." You smiled and opened Zarina's cage.
"You're letting me go?" Zarina tensed up. "Of course not." You cut her ropes and tightly held her by the neck so she struggled to move. "Then what are you doing? You're not really gonna kill me are you?" Zarina paniced as you came to a stop. "No, but these two will. If you're still alive in six hours I'll let you go home." You chuckled and quickly threw Zarina into the cage with two rabid dogs inside that then soon woke up. "What? No! You can't do this! They'll eat me alive!" Zarina leaned though the gaps of her new shared cage while begging for her life. "That's the point." You yawned and casually walked away.
Time Skips to the Morning.
When you woke up in the real time that would be classed as morning for most people, you got up, changed into your usual clothing and then went outside to see what was going on. Hoyt was here and talking to Vaas, some of Hoyt's men were taking their three slaves back to Hoyt's place for sale and you went to see if Zarina had survived.
"About ten minutes after you left her throat got ripped out." Benjamin came up behind you as you looked inside of the cage. "Aww I really wanted her to live." You let out a massive exhale. "Really?" Ben looked at you with some surprise. "Just so I could shoot her myself." You grinned and left the cage as it had a terrible smell to it. "Can I just compliment your insanity? You're not even related to Vaas and you act so much like him, it's what this place needs." Benjamin thought to honestly come out with. "I appreciate the compliment,.. but really? You think this place needs another mentalist that is adicated to drugs, sex and yelling? The only difference is the gender." You lightly laughed and went over to Hoyt and Vaas. "Aren't all of us?" Benjamin quired and followed you. "I suppose." You agreed as Ben wasn't wrong.
Time Skips to Age 18.
By now you are classed as a fully grown adult, even though eighteen is still a teenage age, Vaas and Hoyt now treat you like a fully grown adult. But Vaas still knew you were his little girl he found eighteen years ago.
On this current day, it was practically your birthday, no one knew the real day you were born on so Vaas just went with the day you were found. Right now you was doing what the classic teenagers do, and that's sleeping. It was eleven in the morning and you were still in bed, even though you were a active person and Vaas got you into a routine of being up at least six or seven in the morning, you still slept in on purpose on your birthday because you hated it. Only because you have no clue on your real birth date, you haven't celibated one with your real parents and for all you know you could be fifteen again. Every year you begged Vaas AND NOW HOYT to do nothing for your birthday and to just act like it's a normal day where they do crystal meth or blow someone up with and RPG.
The only reason why you now ask Hoyt to give you nothing for your birthday is because on your seventeenth birthday he bought you a new fancy car that had been imported from somewhere called Italy. You were very greatful for it, but you never used it because it was too difficult for you to use mentally. Plus you'll just hit a deer and smash the window in five minutes like you always do because you're a nutter.
"Yoo-hoo, (Y-N). Wake up." Vaas came into your room and closed the door behind him. "No." You mumbled. "Come on, I've got something you might like." Vaas attempted to persuade you as he sat on the edge of your bed. "Vaas, you know I hate my birthday, can you not please? You do this every year." You heavily groaned and aggressively sat up. "Ok, ok chill." Vaas held his hands up as if he was incocent. "Thank you." You nodded and put your head back on your pillow. "But... can we talk later on night? Just us two." Vaas also chucked into to conversation. "Yeah, just let me sleep." You waved your hand that signaled you wanted Vaas to go away. "Meet me on the beach at seven tonight then." Vaas got up and left your room. "Ok." You grouched.
Time Skips to Seven O'Clock.
As you promised Vaas, you'd gone to meet him at the beach at seven. As far as you're awere of, all you know is that he wants to talk to you and you really couldn't say no to him. After everything Vaas has done for you over the years, you had to go see him. Plus you haven't had any one on one time with Vaas in ages. So you had a drive down to the beach and for some reason, you felt like using the car Hoyt gave you last year. You don't know what got into you, you just changed your mind, started it up and had a drive to where Vaas was.
As you drove down to the beach you knew you would have to go pretty fast, because of the steep hill. Even though going slow may be best in some situations, you figured out if you went fast, nothing could ambush you and you'd be crash free... But this time you were a bit unlucky. As you got half way down the hill a Komodo Dragon popped out of nowhere and gripped it's teeth into the tires.
"SHIT!" You screamed as the tires went flat while your car uncontrollably rolled down the hill. "I see you're using the car Hoyt gave you?" Vaas casually looked to his left as the air bag hit your face. "Yep. A Komodo Dragon bit the tire and I lost control of the car." You got out of the car in a struggle as you replied to Vaas. "I can tell, it's squashed into the tire." Vaas pointed out the mingled lizard. "For fuck sake." You sighed and glimpsed at the bloody wheel. "It'll be an easy clean. Now follow me." Vaas shrugged and then put his arm around you shoulders. "What is it?" You curiously quizzed since it was pretty rare Vaas would want to talk to you on your own, and especially like this.
"I won't say anything so I'll just give you it." Vaas handed you a little brown card bored box. "Vaas..." You puffed out some air and lowered your shoulders. "It's not a gift, you just need to see it. You're basically an adult now, so you need to see this." Vaas told you and forced the box in your hands. "A photo, a small bracelet and a babies blanket?" You went a head and opened the box while listing the things inside of it. "When Benjamin and I found you, this braclete was around your wrist so we continued calling you (Y-N) as we presumed it was your name. You can clearly tell you were wrapped in the blanket when we found you since it's pretty small and you were a small baby to be honest..." Vaas went though the objects with you as you looked though all of them individually. "And this is a photo of baby me with my parents." You told your guess to Vaas while looking at the picture. "Yep, it's the only one we have." Vaas nodded and gazed at the family photo himself. "Wow... You can see my parents in me." You noticed the genetics your parents had that looked similar to you. "Yep, just a shame you have my personality." Vaas agreed with you and got out his own opinion. "It's not that bad... Like I am sad I've never met my parents because they died and I really don't want to know how... But I like the way I've turned out. I know you're head mental and addicted to sex and drugs, but I've turned out the same way; and I am greatful... because you took me in when you could have easily left me and you're basically my only parent, you're my dad." You gave Vaas a bit of a touching speach and called him dad for the first time pretty much. "Te quiero hija mia." Vaas put his arm around your shoulders again while speaking a bit of Spanish. "Love you too, dad." You gave Vaas a full on family hug and closed your eyes. "Just remember, you're the best thing that ever happened to me." Vaas rubbed your back making you feel loved and wanted.
The End.
