Play it when it comes "He clicked the audio"... ik some of you read stories offline and some prefer to not play any music while reading, but please hear it once as its required for upcoming chapter too, I promise u won't regret the cover, thanks :D)
Taehyung sat there, phone in hand, staring at the texts they'd been sending each other. His heart was racing, everything about their conversation felt electric, his body buzzing like he was still in the middle of it. But then reality hit.
He knew Jk had a boyfriend. That thought sat heavy in his chest, no matter how good the texts made him feel.
"Why do I keep doing this?" Taehyung muttered to himself, fingers tracing over the screen. It was so easy to get lost in the moment, caught up in the excitement of their messages. But when the rush wore off, all that was left was the ache of knowing Jk wasn't his.
"Fucking hell..." Taehyung groaned, tossing the phone on his bed, leaning back and covering his face with his hands. "I'm so screwed."
He picked up the phone again, scrolling through their chat, reading over the things Jk had said. It felt so personal, so intimate, and for a split second, Taehyung could forget about the boyfriend. But the guilt crept back in, like it always did.
"How is this happening?" he whispered, staring at Jk's words, feeling his chest tighten. He wanted more, but every time Jk's name came up, it was like a punch to the gut.
But damn, it felt good too.
Taehyung clenched his jaw, annoyed at himself for letting it go this far. But the thought of stopping? It hurt even worse.
He was ready to toss his phone aside, mind swirling with all the confusion, when his screen lit up. A message.
From JK.
His heart skipped, fingers freezing mid-air before he quickly swiped to open it.
[@Jk_moon_1997]
Improvised that violin
tune u liked...
sent u a recording.
Let me know what u think.
The attachment sat there, waiting. A voice recording.
Taehyung blinked, feeling his chest tighten. Of course, JK would do something like this, something so damn sweet right after they'd just been exchanging... those kinds of messages. It's like JK knew exactly how to pull him back in.
He clicked the audio.
(Please play and enjoy ;)
The sound of the violin flooded his room. Soft at first, then it built, like a wave. Taehyung closed his eyes, letting it wash over him. Every note, every shift in the melody felt personal, like JK was speaking to him through the music.
"Damn..." Taehyung whispered, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He couldn't help it, despite everything. It was beautiful.
His phone buzzed again.
[@Jk_moon_1997]
U there?
Taehyung bit his lip. He typed quickly.
[@Vantae30_u]
Listening rn. It's...
wow.
[@Jk_moon_1997]
Haha, 'wow' good or
'wow' bad? 👀
He laughed, shaking his head.
[@Vantae30_u]
Good, you idiot.
[@Jk_moon_1997]
Thought u'd like it.
Kinda reminds me of u.
That made Taehyung's heart stumble. Of him? JK was too much. This back and forth, the music, their conversations-he was drowning in it all.
Taehyung typed back.
[@Vantae30_u]
Ur something else, man.
[@Jk_moon_1997]
Only for u 😉
JK's reply was teasing, but Taehyung could feel the heat behind it. His stomach flipped, thinking about how things had changed between them.
Before he could stop himself, he replied.
[@Vantae30_u]
Wish I could
hear it live tho.
JK's message came a second later.
[@Jk_moon_1997]
Soon.
Taehyung stared at that single word. Soon.. What did JK even mean by that? The thought of seeing him in person made his heart race, but the reality of JK's boyfriend? It sat there, heavy in the back of his mind.
But he couldn't stop smiling.
the way JK talked to him... the way his words pulled him in so effortlessly, like it was nothing, like they belonged to each other.
His phone buzzed again. Another message from JK.
[@Jk_moon_1997]
What you thinking
about?
Taehyung hesitated. You, he wanted to say. Always you. But instead, he went with something safer, something that wouldn't give away the storm going on inside him.
[@Vantae30_u]
Just this tune.
Got me thinking about life
and stuff.
U got a way of making
things hit different.
[@Jk_moon_1997]
Haha, deep thinker V.
Gotta hear more of those
thoughts sometime.
The teasing tone was there, but beneath it, Taehyung could feel the sincerity. Eventually, he downloaded the tune and set it as it's caller tune-a daily reminder to love Jk more and more.
Jeongguk sat in his room, holding his phone in one hand and his violin in the other. The recording of his violin tune for V was done, but he couldn't stop himself from playing it again.
He set the phone aside, pressing play on the recording to hear how it sounded, while his other hand grabbed the bow and started gliding over the strings.
(You can play that violin cover again! <3)
The sound filled the room, soft at first but gaining intensity.
"Damn, this sounds pretty good," he muttered, his fingers moving automatically as he got into the rhythm. He was completely focused, the bow making the strings hum and vibrate. It was like the music was a direct line to V, pulling him in.
"Fuck, I wish you were here," Jeongguk thought, his mind drifting to V. Every stroke of the bow felt like a touch, each note like a whisper of his name. "Can you even feel this through the damn phone?"
He played harder, faster, letting the music build and swell. Each note was an echo of how much he missed V, how much he wanted to feel him close. He pictured V in his mind, smiling, his eyes bright. "Man, it's like I can almost see you right here."
The way the bow moved, the vibrations through the violin-it was all mixing together, making Jeongguk feel like V was somehow in the room with him. "Shit, this is wild," he said, getting lost in the music. The more he played, the more intense the longing grew. "If only you were here to hear this live."
He finished the piece, letting the last note linger in the air. The room fell silent, and Jeongguk sat there, breathless, feeling a mix of satisfaction and frustration. "Gotta let you know how much this meant," he thought, picking up his phone again. "You'd love this, V. For real."
He drafted a quick message, his fingers flying over the screen.
[@Jk_moon_1997]
Yo, just played that
new tune again.
It's fire.
Wish you were
here to hear it ;)
Jeongguk hit send, feeling a twinge of hope as he waited for V's reply. The music had been his way to bridge the gap, to send a piece of himself across the distance. For now, he'd have to settle for that and the hope that V could feel even a fraction of what he was feeling right now.
Jeongguk wrapped up his violin session and checked his phone. V's message popped up.
[@Vantae30_u]
Damn, that tune was lit.
Felt like I was there with
you, lol.
[@Jk_moon_1997]

[@Jk_moon_1997]
Def.
Can't wait for that day.
They joked around a bit more before V signed off for the night. Jeongguk put his phone down, feeling a mix of joy and longing. "Guess it's just me and the quiet night now."
He lay back, V's laughter still in his mind, and let himself drift off with a smile.
V's messages still making him smile, when his phone buzzed with a message from Shezam. Panic hit him as he saw Shezam's name.
Shezam:- "Hey, just thinking about you. How's your night?"
Jeongguk's heart raced. He knew he had to be honest, but the thought of breaking Shezam's heart was gut-wrenching.
He took a deep breath and typed back.
Jeongguk:-"Hey, it's been a bit crazy here. You?"
Shezam:- "Just missing you. Wanted to know if you're free later."
The tattooed guyhesitated, feeling the weight of his words.
Jeongguk:- "I've been thinking... we need to talk."
He stared at his phone, his mind a whirlwind of thoughts. Shezam's message about missing him echoed in his head, making him feel a deep pang of guilt. He knew he had to talk to Shezam about his feelings, but the words just wouldn't come.
He ran a hand through his hair, feeling the weight of it all. "Man, how do I even say this?" he muttered to himself.
He thought about V, the way their texts made him feel, and how it all contrasted with what he had with Shezam. "This is gonna hurt so bad..." he groaned, sinking deeper into his bed.
Jeongguk swiped through the old messages, trying to find the right words but coming up empty. "Gotta talk to Shezam, but... damn, I don't even know how."
He just stared at his phone, knowing he had to make things right, but feeling totally stuck on how to do it.
Taehyung sat across from Hoseok, his shoulders slumped as he tried to organize his thoughts. He took a deep breath before speaking.
"So, I met JK on Wattpad, right? We clicked right away, but then they shut down the chat feature. We switched to emails, which was kinda a blessing in disguise. We ended up talking a lot more. That's when I realized I was falling for him," Taehyung explained, his voice carrying a mix of nostalgia and frustration.
Hoseok nodded, encouraging him to continue. "And how did that develop into something more?"
Taehyung continued, "Well, as we kept emailing, I opened up about everything-my struggles, Han Jisung, all of it. JK was super supportive. We moved our chats to Telegram, and that's where things got intense. We had all these deep conversations, and he really made me feel understood."
Hoseok listened attentively. "So, you developed strong feelings for him. Was there a turning point where you realized you were in love?"
"Definitely," Taehyung said, running a hand through his hair. "It started with the emotional support and just how well we connected. But then, he mentioned he has a boyfriend. It threw me off because suddenly I'm not sure where I stand. We've shared so many intimate and spicy texts, and it feels like a whirlwind."
Hoseok leaned in, interested. "It sounds like you've developed a strong bond with JK, but now there's the complication of his relationship. How does this impact how you feel?"
"It's a mess," Taehyung admitted, frustration evident in his tone. "I've got these powerful feelings for him, but knowing he's with someone else complicates things. I'm caught between wanting to explore what's happening with JK and not wanting to hurt anyone or create chaos."
Hoseok nodded thoughtfully. "It's clear you're struggling with the intensity of your feelings and the reality of his relationship. How are you handling these emotions?"
"I'm all over the place," Taehyung confessed. "One minute I'm thrilled about what's happening with JK, and the next, I'm anxious about the reality of his situation. It's like I'm stuck between excitement and confusion."
The eldest one smiled sympathetically. "It sounds like you need to give yourself space to understand your feelings better. Being honest with yourself and with JK about where you both stand could provide some clarity."
Taehyung sighed, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, I need to figure out if this is real or just a fleeting feeling. I want to make sure I'm not making decisions based on emotions alone. It's time to clear my head and understand what's best for both me and JK."
His therapist, Hobi offered a reassuring smile. "You gotta take some time to chill and really think about this. Being straight up with yourself and JK is key. It'll help you figure out what's real and what's just all in your head. That way, you can make the right calls and get a grip on what's going on."
Taehyung trudged down the street, his mind racing and his mood heavy. He'd been so caught up in his intense chats with JK that he hadn't really thought about what it meant in the bigger picture. But now, something had clicked-
As he recalled their conversations, it hit him-he was falling into the same pattern he had hated years ago with Han Jisung. He'd been so focused on the thrill and the connection with JK that he hadn't considered how similar this was to the betrayal he had once experienced.
Jk and him were actually having a fling behind his boyfriend's back.
"Damn, what am I even doing?" he muttered, feeling the weight of his actions. "I thought this was different, but now it's just the same shit again."
He stopped abruptly, the realization that he was cheating on someone who trusted him gnawed at his conscience. Even though JK often brushed off the seriousness of his relationship with his boyfriend, saying it was all cool, Taehyung couldn't shake the guilt. It was like he was justifying his actions instead of facing the reality.
Kicking a pebble, he watched it skitter across the pavement. His frustration was palpable, his breaths coming out in short, frustrated bursts. "Why am I doing this? It's like I'm in the same trap, just a different label on it."
The sense of wrongdoing hit him hard. He had been wrapped up in the excitement and connection he felt with JK, and it had blinded him to the fact that this was not just a harmless fling. It was becoming a complicated mess he didn't want to be part of.
"Fuck, this isn't right," he said to himself, feeling the weight of his actions. "I've gotta talk to JK and figure this out. I can't keep lying to myself."
(a/n:- i know you like the tune, don't you? Anyways, now its time to get something angst😈)
