The curly haired boy entered his black truck, starting up the engine and backed out of the driveway into the street. The windows rolled down, and November Rain playing lowly on the radio. He inhaled the smell of morning rain and the wet earth, admiring the vibe of this monday morning.

Monday, of course Richie hated Monday, the boy nearly hated everything, everyday of the week, his parents, his hair, the overrated girls that tried to flirt with him at school, the school itself.

But he hates his friends the least, after all they, are just like any family that Richie never had, and he's very grateful of that.

The wind blowing in Richie's hair reminded him of the summers he would spend with his friends. Riding their bikes till dusk, the wind flowing past his face as he laughed and joked with his friends throughout the town of Derry.

He arrived in the parking lot of the school. He parked in the closest lane by the entrance of the school. Richie hopped off his truck, slammed the door shut and leaned against the door. He silently waited for his friends, watching the cars in the lot pass by.

Soon Big Bill and Stan the Man (at least that's what Richie likes to call them) arrived. Bill carpooled with Stan every morning. Richie walked over to their car, ready to start the day with them.

"Hey Losers." Richie greeted with a grin that made both Bill and Stan smile too. "So Stan could I maybe use your test to che-" and with that Stan sighed, the smile on his face completely vanishing.

"No." Stan cut him off as they started walking to the building. "Come on Stan the Man, you're my friend" Richie cooed. The two argued on and on, all the way to their lockers, not even noticing Beverly, Ben and Mike approaching the trio.

"Hey guys." Mike greeted along with Beverly. Bill smiled at both of them, lifting up his hand with a wave as he greeted Bev and Ben.

By the time they've all reached their lockers, Richie finally gave up on Stan and decided to go with his fate of getting an F.

"So what do you guys wanna do tonight?" Richie asked as he threw his history book in his backpack. He zipped his back up and threw it over his shoulder.

"We cu-could go t-to the Qu-quarry?" Bill stuttered. He speech impediment wasn't half as bad as it was when they entered highschool.

"Are you crazy, Bill? It's like -20° celsius outside!" Richie exclaimed. Stan rolled his eyes, completely done with Richie's shit. "It's not even November yet, dumbass." Stan retorted with a glare.

"Yea but it's still cold. Fuck that, I'm not risking getting hypothermia." The whole group sighed with annoyance, causing Richie to grin widely.

"But you know what we can do? Go to the arcade!" He exclaimed like a child.
"That's all you ever want to do." Stan groaned.

"Yea besides your mothe-"

"Sh-shut it Ri-Richie!" Bill barked with a tint of anger in his voice. As the Losers half argued and agreed at what they were gonna do. Instead of the arcade they settled on going to see a movie, a scary one to be specific.

Although Richie wasn't very fond of horror movies he still decided that'd he go. The bell finally rang signalling the school day had official started. They said their goodbyes and "I'll see you next period." And went their separate ways, besides Bill and Richie, who shared the same classes together. In all honesty Bill wished he would have more classes with Stan than Richie, cause that boy can be a pain sometimes.

The students poured into the classroom before the tardy bell could ring, but Richie didn't care, Bill and him walked slowly to class, talking of all the things that had happened over the weekend. When they opened the door, their teacher didn't seem so surprised that they were late once again.

"Late again, Mr. Tozier and Mr. Denbrough." The teacher mocked as he stared at them through his thick glasses and tapping his finger on the watch on his wrist. "You know it." Richie clicked his tongue and giving him finger guns. The students snickered.

When Richie turned around he noticed a boy sitting in his seat that he sits everyday. Annoyance built up in his body as he walked over to the unknown boy.  Richie heard that there's a new kid in Derry so that must be him since everybody knows that's his seat and nobody ever bothered to sit there.

"Hey new kid, that's my seat." Richie towered over the fragile boy who wore a blue polo shirt with tan cargo shorts. He looked up at him, with fear caught into his eyes. Richie lost his breath as he met the most beautiful nut brown eyes he's every seen. The small, barely noticable freckles splattered across his face like stars in the sky, made him go into a trance. In fact, everything Richie was looking at made him go into a trance, his soft skin, shiny nut brown hair that was nicely combed, his long eyelashes. Everything.

His heart was beating out of his chest, so loudly he was sure the rest of the class could hear it. The curly haired boy just stared, afraid he might drool all over the desk cause Richie has never seen something so divinely gorgeous.

"I-I'm sorry. I-I'll move." His soft voice made Richie's whole being want to melt. The sound was mellifluous, and Richie thinks it's the most beautiful sound he's ever heard.

"No! Y-you can stay." Richie shouted loudly, certainly not intentionally. Shame filled Richie's eyes as he watched the small boy full up with fear once again.

"Um, I'm s-sorry." Richie gulped as he his cheeks turned cherry red with embarrassment. "It's fine." The brunette smiled up at him a small blush on his cheeks. Richie's face got redder as he smiled at him, his heart beating so fast it felt like it was going to fall out of his chest.

Without another word Richie turned on his heels and walked down the isle of desks until he settled by Bill, who wrote down notes from the board.

The rest of the class period, Richie was completely love struck with the boy three seats away from him. He didn't even get his name, but he didn't care.

Zero remarks or foul mouthed humor came from the trashmouth the whole lesson, it made Bill feel weird. Occasionally Richie would stretch out his limbs or act like he's getting something from his bag, just to look at the new kid in awe. He was all he thought of, he was Richie's smoke cloud surrounding his head and  making him feel high and in love.

Eddie Kaspbrak walked through the large crowd of students in the corridor. Occasionally being pushed or told to move out of the way. He tilted his head down once he saw Henry Bowers and his goons, walking  meters ahead of him. Anxiety filled him as he tried his best to avoid any eye contact with him. He sighed in relief as they passed him.

But the relief was gone when Henry gripped his backpack and pulled him backwards, Eddie struggled to stay on his feet but soon failed when he came in contact with the tiled floor. Students laughed and pointed at him.

Eddie's eyes filled with hot tears as his lip quivered in fear. Once he attempted to get off the ground, Henry's large foot stepped on Eddie's small hand. He winced in pain as Henry twisted his foot, and stepping harder on Eddie's hand.

"Looks like you need a hair cut, new kid." A devious smile spread across his face as he pulled scissors from his pocket. Eddie's free hand grasped Henry's wrist in an attempt to stop him. The small boy shut his eyes, preparing for whatever torment was to become.

Before the blade could come in contact with his hair, Henry was violently shoved to the ground. A figure stood in front of Eddie, protecting him. Eddie sighed in relief as he smiled up at Richie, who blushed and smiled back.

Richie may or may have not been following Eddie since they left class, but had lost him in the crowd. Richie was pissed when he found him with Henry Bowers torturing him. He wasn't about to let Henry go without a scratch on him.

Eddie got up from the ground, close behind Richie. His goons stayed behind, watching Henry process what had just happened.

He looked up to see Richie standing above him, with a gleam of anger in his eyes.

"Stay away from him." Richie gritted his teeth as he stated down at Henry.
"Oh yea? What are you gonna do, pretty boy?" Henry pulled himself off the ground. The two boys stared at each other, both hatred vibrating off of them. The bell rung and students cleared the halls.

"That's what I thought, Tozier." Henry scoffed pushing past him with a salty shoulder push. The mullet boy spit on his hand and wiped the saliva on Eddie's face, who was still behind Richie.

Eddie groaned in complete disgust as he wiped the spit off his cheek Richie watched them leave until they were finally out of sight. He turned around, hoping to see Eddie but he was nowhere to be seen.

Before Richie could look for him, Bev tapped him on the shoulder, nearly scaring him to death.

"Jesus! Bev don't do that!" He exclaimed as the red head giggled. Richie loved the vibe Beverly gave off, she was a soft, loving girl that could be sweet but violent if you hurt or say anything to her friends. The losers thought of her as their sister, well besides Ben, who was her boyfriend.

"Hey Bev, what do you do when you like someone?" Richie questioned. The short haired girl raised an eyebrow. Realization spread across her face as she covered her mouth.

"Holy shit you got a crush on someone, don't you?" Bev squealed with excitement. "Yea yea, don't tell anyone." Richie sighed.

"Is she pretty? Where'd you meet her-" Questions poured of of her mouth like wildfire, but was interrupted by Richie.

"He, Bev. I like a boy." A small blush came across his cheeks. Beverly had no form of disappointment in her face, instead her whole body jolted with excitement and energy.

"And yea he's a very pretty boy, perfect if anything, with sexy brown hair and the cutest freckles and his voice, god I wish I could hear it again."

An electric pulse shot throughout his body everytime he thought of him. Richie was madly in love and was so aware of it.

"Wow he seems great and so out of your league." Beverly giggled playfully, knocking Richie out of his daydream. "Of course he is, he's out of everyone's league." Beverly rolled her eyes playfully, noticing how much love and admiration radiated of Richie for this mystery boy. "What's his name?" The giddy girl asked.

"Um unkown." Richie said, not even knowing his name either. Beverly punched him softly. "Come on, I won't tell anyone."

"No really, cause I dont even know his name since I just met him today." Richie shrugged. "Okay fine, but you're telling me everything after school cause I really need to get to class." Beverly waved goodbye before walking off to her class, leaving Richie  alone in the corridor. He sighed before turning the other way and walking to his own class.
