Book of the Month
This month, we interviewed xxsoteria for their story, Princess Thief for our book of the month, an exciting tale of a princess by day and a thief by night. There are a lot of wonderful themes of self-discovery as she finds herself, and we encourage everyone to check it out!
Did you know we have a submission form to be considered for High Fantasy's Book of the Month? Each month, we select a story we believe represents the genre well, and is something readers can enjoy. Please be advised we cannot select everyone and due to high volume, we can't provide feedback for why a story is not selected. Please pay attention to things like grammar, a clear narrative, and relevance to the profile. At this time, we do not accept fanfic submissions (Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the profile).

Please note, we do not provide feedback for why a story is selected or declined. If you would like to confirm we have received your story, you are welcome to do so, but due to the high volume of submissions we receive on a monthly basis, we can not respond to every inquiry for why a story didn't progress. If you would like to resubmit your story for consideration, please pay attention to grammar, readability, and relevance.

Fantasmical 2023
In August, we announced the winners of Fantasmical 2023. We had a lot of wonderful entries, and are pleased to congratulate our High Fantasy winner – colourfulmouth – for their story Trial of the Dragon! Check their winning entry out here.
Book of the Month
During August, we featured our fourth author MichaelSToledano with their book The Circle of the Paw in our book for Book of the Month. You can read the interview with them here.
Monthly Activities
In July, we hosted the Challenge Poetry #1 in our book Monthly Activities. During August, we announced the winners of the Flash Fiction on our Message Board.

In August, to warm our community up for Shiver Me Timbers 2023, we ran a small pirate exploration contest with talesofthedeep called Dead Men Tell No Tales. Our judging team is in for a rough ride with all the wonderful entries we received! We look forward to releasing results sometime this month.
In September, we start off the month with a fresh collab with talesofthedeep and many other profiles that some of you may be familiar with: Shiver Me Timbers 2023. This choose your own adventure pirate adventure contest encourages all users to write about your fictional travels as a pirate in West Asia. The first checkpoint closes on September 30th, 11:59 PM EST and activities will close on October 31st, 11:59 PM EST. Available languages: Arabic, Hindi, and English. XTheXSarahX - No, I wont. I want them to love me for who I am. Even if I am desperately looking for someone. It Will not work if it isn't True love. If I don't find someone I guess it was meant to be😅 I also hope that nobody Will Use it on me, if someone doesn't love you, hè Doesn't love you, live with it. So no. If someone Will ever love me tho, I hope so.
