Approximately 14 hours later the twins make their debut with Riley arriving first. An hour later they were allowed visitors, the grandparents knock and enter their room.

"Chris...Amaiya, is it okay to come in?" His mother leads the pack.

They find Chris in tears as he is looking at the two bundles of joy in his arms. "Grandma, grandma, and grandpa...meet your first born grandchildren, Riley Simone and Christopher Michael, Jr. Aren't they the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?"

His mom kisses his tear stained cheek. "Oh Christopher, they are just perfect." Chris hands them over to her parents and hugs his mother, she wipes his tears. "Oh, honey, I am so happy for you and Amaiya. You're parents!"

He looks at her as she slept. "She's my world, mom. There's absolutely nothing I could say or do to show her how much she truly means to me."

A smile forms across her face while opening her eyes. "You do know I can hear everything you say." She slowly sits up and is surprised when he plants a long passionate kiss to hers in front of their parents.

"Chris...our parents!"

He looks around, her noticeably blushing. "I love you so much, from the depth of my soul. You've given me the gift of fatherhood and I can't wait to enjoy just being a family and start this journey with you, sweetheart." She places her hand on his face and he leans into it.

After the twins' first breastfeeding, the nurse takes them so she could rest. Chris lies in bed next to her playing in her hair. "You should go home and rest, our bed is way more comfortable than this one."

He wraps his arms around her tighter. "You think I would be able to sleep at home without you? I am exactly where I want to be with you and our babies. If I could I'd knock you up again right now."

She looks at him in shock. "That is not funny. Thank goodness you have to wait six to eight weeks before there can be any activity. I know how eager you are, but you did not just carry two babies and deliver them. I'd like to get my figure back before you go trying to knock me up again, thank you." They share a laugh, he kisses her hand.

"I'll try to behave myself but you're just so unbelievably sexy this will be the hardest two months of my life. I mean that figuratively...and quite literally." They both look down and she bites her lip before giving a sly smile.

"Don't worry baby, I'll make sure to still take good care of you. You definitely want me to heal properly or she may never feel the same again and you know how she feels when you're around or when you play with her." He hugs her tight kissing her over and over.

"You're killing me, Mai. When you get cleared, we'll do a stay-cation at the W, The Presidential Suite and full spa package. I'd love to spoil my baby before I make love to her all night." He snuggles up to her, his light touches all over causing her to giggle. "Let's get used to these two before you go trying to add to the family."

Just then the nurse comes in for a quick hour bonding session. He takes Riley and she takes CJ. Riley wraps her hand around his finger at the same time she opens her eyes, they are the warmest brown and he starts tearing up again.

"How's daddy's little princess? I love you so much, you're so beautiful just like your mother."

Amaiya attempts to feed CJ while they were in the room. "I tell you I don't think this will ever feel normal." She sighs as he latches on to feed.

Chris kisses her forehead. "That is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Motherhood looks perfect on you." She smiles as she tries to fix her hair.

"Thank you but I feel a mess right now. I think I'm still in a cloudy haze and really just realizing that our babies are here." She swaps with him, attempting to feed Riley. Riley latches on for a minute but then stops.

"She's not as hungry as CJ, I see who's going to be the greedy one." Chris burps CJ and places him in the crib while attempting to burp Riley.

Amaiya goes to take a shower and freshen up. "Thank you, babe, for bringing my stuff, I feel so much better, like myself again." She notices the twins were not here. "The nurse came and picked them up?" He nods while patting the spot next to him.

"About ten minutes ago and now it's time for mommy and daddy to rest, this could be the last full night we get for a while." She enjoys the feeling of his arms wrapping around her but then there was a knock on the door. He sighs, separating from her and she laughs while answering, "Come in."

Chris' head coach, Mike comes in with a huge floral arrangement and a diaper cake.

"Mike, so good to see you! Thank you so much for letting Chris have time off so that he can help with the twins. Oh, you just missed them, the nurse took them for the night."

Mike sets down the gifts and shakes Chris's hand.

"Amaiya, you don't even look like you just had twins. Congrats to the both of you, I wanted to stop by and let you know the team is so happy for you and we will be awaiting your return after some much needed bonding time. Now, if you need more time just let me know, all I ask is that you keep up with your conditioning so you're not too rusty when you come back. We're going to do you proud while you're out."

Chris brings the bouquet closer to her. She inhales the fragrant flowers. "They smell wonderful, tell the team I said thank you so much for everything." He hugs her gently. "Will do, you just keep Chris out of trouble, we need our star co-quarterback." She gives her word.

After Coach leaves Chris smiles and snuggles up to her again, kissing her on the cheek. "You promise to keep me out of trouble?"

She looks down and sighs. "Hmmm, I may have bitten off more than I can chew. The twins seem easier to deal with than their father. Guess we'll find out soon enough."

He plays in her hair and stares at her for a few moments. She gazes in his eyes and sees the purity of his love for her. She breaks the silence.

"I love you."

He leans in for a sweet kiss. "And I love you."

They fall asleep until the morning when the nurse brings the twins in for feeding.
