I needed a new pad. It should be the last one I need until next month. I went into Marie's bathroom to get one. But as I grabbed one from the cabinet, the bathroom door burst open. Marie stood there looking very angry.

"What are you doing in my room, in my bathroom, and in my bathroom cabinet!?! What are you trying to steal!?" She shouted, pointing an accusing finger at me.

I stood up and faced her. "I.... I-" I tried to say, holding the pad behind my back.

"Show me what your holding behind your back!! Now!!" She yelled. I blushed, and held it out to her. She snatched it away from me, and realized what it was. "You...... You...." She said with a flustered expression.

I bowed to her and apologized. "I'm sorry!! I-it was my first time!! And I didn't know what to do! So I just used some of yours, I'm sorry!! I'm sorry!" I said.

"Well, you could have just asked!" Marie snorted. "This kind of thing is a nesesity! All girls have this!" She glared at me. "Why didn't you ask?" She said.

I straightened myself and looked to the floor as I answered. "I wasn't thinking, its my fault." I said. "After all, I'm not worth more than dirt...." I mumbled under my breath.

She stared at me "Stick up for yourself! Seriously, I wonder how your still alive." She moved her hand to slap me, but saw the mark Marcus made on my cheek. She looked at it closely "What's this?" She asked.

I covered the mark again. "Its nothing, it was my fault." I replied quietly.

Marie looked at me sternly. "That's a hand print! Honestly, how do you slap yourself in the face so hard?" She seemed irritated. She thought I did this to myself? So be it..... She tossed the pad back to me. "Y-you need that right? Well, go away now, and don't come back unless I order it!" She huffed.

I left that room as well, but realized I'd left my head band thing in the bathroom. I went back to get it, but when I opened the door I saw Marie changing her clothes. Her face went red and she threw something at me. A book, and it hit my collar bone, causing a large lump of pain to form.

I dashed away back to my room. I sat on the bed for a while, felling depressed. I didn't even have anyone to talk to... I was the only slave here.

Mew!

Starlight? I looked over to see star under my bed- wait.... No, 2. There were 2 stars. 2 cats under the bed they crawled out and climbed up onto the bed. The looked the same, except that one had yellow eyes. Hey, wait.... Another cat came out from under the bed. 3 of them?!

I touched stars yellow eyed look alike, and discovered that it wasn't white. It was covered in flour or something! I scooped up all tree of them, and went to Katie and Caleb's bathroom. I washed each kitty carefully in the sink with warm water. I hushed them back to my room.

I sat all three of them on my bed. There was starlight, the white kitty with black stripes and blue eyes just as abnormal as mine. There was an orangeish redish cat, that had been cover in flour before, with yellow eyes like fire embers. Then there was another orangeish redish cat, except this one had amber eyes and its coat was a bit lighter then the other cats.

They mewed happily at me. "How did you even get in here? Where did you come from?" I asked them "Will I dream of you to?" I whispered. I sighed and laid down on my bed. What should I name them? The amber eyed kitty had to be called amber. And they looked like twins.... Ember? Amber and Ember. That's good. They all cuddled up against me. And for the first time outside my dream in a long time, I felt happy.

Hhmmm.... Its so warm... I hugged the warm thing and cuddled up against it. Dad! Dad! Help me! I heard someone say. Nolan? My eyes opened. I yawned, and looked at what I was holding. I was hugging Nolan. He was looking to his dad for help. His dad shrugged. I gasped and pushed myself off him. I fell off the couch and bit my tongue. "Ow!" I said.

"Oh hey! You alright?" Nolan said, a worried expression on his face.

"I'm fine!!" I squeaked. I think my tongue was bleeding a little bit...

"Sumer breaks ending in a bit. Do you want to go to school? I'm sure I can get you in last second!" Nolan's dad said.

"I, um... What's school?" I asked.

He looked at me like I was a cockroach. "OK, you're going." He left without another word.

"So, that happened..." Nolan said.

"Nolan..?" I asked.

"Hm?" He replied.

My stomach growled. "I'm hungry..." I said softly, my face redining at the loud sound my stomach made.

"Oh, right. You would be wouldn't you? Do you... Want to go into the city today? We can eat out, have you ever had a burger? I'll call jay! Yeah, let's do that!" Nolan raced off.

"I, wha?" I said to no one. Starlight rubbed against my leg. "Hey star... How are you doing?" Amber and ember followed. I sat down and let them crawl all over me. "Heheh, silly kittys." I cooed at them.

Star crawled inside my shirt and poked his tiny head out of my shirt collar by my neck, licking my chin. His fuzzy fur tickled. He kept snuggling against me, which tickled me even more. "Heheheh, stop!! Star! Heheh!!" I giggled.

Amber and ember kept fighting over who got to sit in my lap. I lied back on the floor, trying desperately to get star out of my shirt to keep myself from laughing. When I finally manged, he looked irritated. I held him above me, and ember and amber had finally both managed to fit together in my lap comfortably.

"Star... Don't do That, OK? Its not nice!" I scolded him, and touched our noses. I placed him on my chest, and he curled up into a ball. With three kittens napping on me, I couldn't move. I just lied there on the floor. I sighed. This was nice... I felt safe here. Safer them I had in a long time.

I hope this moment never ends....
