Sigh....

I was sitting in Nolan's room, on his bed. He was cleaning up the room out there, and had called the police to pick up the robbers. But the fourth guy gotten free, He'd stolen a police car and drove it away. Nolan banished me to his room until later. I didn't have to listen to him, but I felt bad for having a part in the rooms destruction.

When he was done, he came and sat next to me on the bed. "So, you bit his hand pretty hard.... Why?"

"He said I was a boy..." I told him, pouting.

"What? That's not that bad..." He said surprised.

"Well, it is to me!" I said and turned my back to him.

"No seriously, why?" He asked, Grabbing my shoulder. I pouted, and shook my head.

I remember.... "Hey! Elaina! W-wait for me!!" I yelled to my sister. She stopped and sighed "You're so slow!" She huffed. We arrived at the playground we were going to. Elaina went over to a random kid sitting with her family, and asked if she wanted to play. The mother was hesitant "its ok, she's 6 years old, she'll be fine." The father said. Elaina smiled.

I finally caught up to her, just as she was introducing her self to the kids parents. "I'm Elaina, nice to meet you!" She saw me come over. "That's Ellen, she can't see right without glasses. She's like a scared little boy!" Elaina laughed at her own joke

"I'm not a boy I'm a girl!" I told her.

Elaina looked at me confused "Oh? Mommy didn't tell you? She said you've always been a boy, she just didn't tell you."

I was horrified, and it must have shown. Elaina laughed. "Wow, you'll believe anything, won't you?" She grabbed the random girls arm and ran towards the playground.

"Wait! I wanna play to!" I yelled to her.

She came down and snatched my glasses, then she went back to the girl she was playing with. "No-boys-allowed!" She sung.

I pouted "I'm a girl!! Gimmy back my glasses!"

She swung them just out of my reach from her position on the playing equipment. "Oh? You don't want them?" She said.

I tried to jump higher "I do! I do!"

She dropped my glasses, and I caught them. I put them back on and tried to catch Elaina. She was to fast for me though, I couldn't catch her no mater how hard I tried. "You're just a stupid little boy!" She yelled back at me wile running and laughing.

It was getting harder to run "No, I'm not!!!!!" I yelled.

Back to reality! Or... Dream, if this is... Never mind....

Nolan just didn't get it.

"I wanna go outside." I said to him, and walked out of the room. I walked through the room I had previously destroyed. Nolan had done a good job cleaning. I felt something fuzzy rub against my leg. It was the cat on the window sill from earlier. It was so cute.

I opened the door, and left the house for a walk. I had a very long walk. I walked so far, I ended up on a big grassy hill, overlooking the whole town. Mew! I heard a meow. I looked over to see Nolan's cat had followed me. I sat down in the grass, and the cat climbed onto my lap. It was a white cat, with little black stripes running down its back. Its blue eyes looked just like mine.

I was hit with a sudden wave of drowsiness, and I fell asleep.

"Heeeeyyyy!! Hey! Ellen! Ellen girly! Up time now!" I heard someone say. I sat up really fast, and bonked heads with someone. I fell of the bed, clutching my forehead.

"Wha, wha, huh?" I said. I was back in the mansion.... This is reality, I thought to myself.

"Oww!! You have a hard head!" It was master. He had come to wake me up. Oh no, I should have been the one to wake him up.

"I'm sorry master, I should have woken up sooner." I said as I sat up.

"What? No, you were super tired last night! I made you clean that whole floor, remember? You deserved to sleep in a little bit. Now get up! My family's coming today!" He said.

"Oh, ok- wait... What? Family?" I said surprised.

"Oh ya, I'm not the master of the house! My dad is. I'm only 22, he's so much wiser. Him and my siblings." He replied.

I nodded and went over to the table, which had a maids dress on it. It was different from the one I was wearing currently. I picked it up and looked at master. He left the room. "When you're done, come down to breakfast! I made toast!" He yelled through the door.

When I finished changing, I put my old dress under the bed. I put the picture of Ann and the others in the drawer in the desk. I then went out to join master. I got to the kitchen, and he had set out a plate with toast on it that he shoved towards me. "Here. Eat." He said with his mouth full. I was surprised. Why was he so nice? I was a slave...

"Why..." I said.

He looked at me "hhmm?"

"Why, are you so nice? I'm... I'm a slave. You shouldn't treat me like this." I said.

"What? I shouldn't treat you like a human? Well, I see a human in front of me, so shut up, eat your toast, and tell me I'm awesome for making it." He said as he took another bite of his toast. I sat down and ate with him.

"Well!" He said after we finished. "The family should be here anytime soon! When they come, you bow and greet them 'welcome master' OK?"

I nodded. "OK! Let's go wait by the door for them. They'll be happier if you open the door five seconds after they knock." He told me.

I waited at the door with him. The door bell finally rang, and I opened the door for the figures in front of me. "Welcome, master." I said as I bowed. I stepped back and held the door open for them. After the four figures walked in, I closed the door and turned to face them.

"Oh? That's the slave? Looks pretty weak, if you ask me."
