Disney's Classics

We know it as The Happiest Place on Earth.
We know it as The Most Magical Place on Earth.
We know If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.

If those words speak to you, you likely have been brought up in the company of the Disney renaissance and know all the classics. Should that be the case, hold on to your fairy dust and your glass shoe, as we today dive into the nostalgic world of Walt Disney classics!

The Disney name is something everyone can recognize and has heard of at least once in their life. The brand has brought many joys, good laughs, and even a few tears for a very long time. This is precisely why the name brings so much nostalgia for many.

But do you know how old Walt Disney actually reaches back in time? And do you know who the first Disney character was?

Did you guess Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny? You are not completely off. Both Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny were among the first characters Walt Disney created along with his brother Roy. However, the very, very first original character to meet the world was actually Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in 1927. Mickey first debuted a year later with Minnie Mouse in 1928.

Characters such as Pluto appeared in 1930, Goofy in 1932, Donald Duck in 1934; Huey, Dewey, Louie, Daisy Duck in 1937, and the list goes on. The period between 1930 and 2010 is what most people would call the Disney renaissance, where Disney's most well-beloved franchise debuted.
