This time I walked up to Jughead as he walked in his normal jacket. Not Serpent jacket. "Aww, missing your jacket that much?" I ask and pout and Jughead sighs.

"It's not fair, I agree with you, Jug. See it from someone who couldn't even tell anyone that she's a Serpent nor wear her Serpent jacket" I say and Jughead realises I'm right.

"What the hell? Guys?" Jughead suddenly says and I look up and see Sweet Pea and Toni in uniforms—Sweet Pea in a goddamn Turtle neck!!

I burst out laughing at the sight of Sweet Pea in a turtle neck and clutch my side.

"Weatherbee gave them to us" Toni says and I pull my phone out while laughing.

I snap a picture of Sweet Pea as he cross his arms trying to look badass in his turtle neck and he glares at me in the process.  "Jesus Christ!" I laugh and wipe my eyes.

"Said he understood that not every Southside student has the means to purchase Riverdale high-acceptable clothes. He thinks this will help us fit in" Toni continues.

"Where's Fogarty?" I ask. "He wouldn't wear the uniform, so they got rid of him" SP says and my face falls.

"What?" I say in disbelief. Oh Weatherbee, you and I are gonna have a chat.

"So, our choices are conform or be cast out" Jughead says and I frown.

"Yeah" Toni says with a sigh. Jughead scoffs and we stay quiet. "Nah—not the rules we live by" I say and walk away, I head towards Weatherbee's office and knock on the door.

I hear a 'come in' and I barge in. "Weatherbee, with all due respect—I know that the Bulldogs plays for this school, but that graffiti—wasn't the Serpents, they weren't even near it! It was Reggie, he was the first one there—probably the one who told you about the graffiti. The Serpents doesn't do graffiti! It's not right to let yourself get fooled by people like Reggie, who wants to see the Serpents thrown out! They didn't do anything! They don't deserve to get thrown out, because people set them up! And force them to wear costumes" I rant.

Weatherbee looks at me blankly. "Detention after school" He says and I scoff in disbelief.

"Well, well, well. Aren't you just a peacemaker" I scowl and storm out of his office.

"What did you do!" Toni hisses as she catch up to me. "Nothing" I growl and she grabs my arm and yanks me back.

"I got detention for defending you, okay? That's what I did" I say and glare at Weatherbee's office.

"You went in there to defend us?" Toni asks surprised. "Halloooo—I'm a Serpent too, I'm just playing along with the rich Northsiders, here" I remind her and she nods.

"That's true—but seriously? You just barged in there and handed his ass to him?" Toni asks.

"Yup, so—where would my boyfriend be, if he got suspended?" I wonder.

"Trailer" Toni and I say at the same time. "I'll pretend that never happened" I say and raise an eyebrow at her.

"And I'll tell Sweet Pea about this! I would have loved to see Weatherbee's face" Toni says and I chuckle, before deciding I have an early break. Then I pay my boyfriend a visit.

Fangs surprised face when he opened the door, was worth detention. If I get back in time though.

"Happy to see moi?" I ask and wink at him.

"What are you doing here?" Fangs asks surprised and pecks my lips as I walk in past him. I've been staying with Veronica for the last two nights.

"I tried to defend the Serpents from Weatherbee's new costumes and I got detention, then I got stubborn and now I'm here" I say and smile.

"I really don't want to make it worse with those costumes—but I really need to show you a picture of SP in turtle neck!" I say and laugh a bit. Fangs shakes his head at me and kiss me, before letting me find the picture.

I show it to him and he starts laughing. "He looks so not like himself" Fangs says and laughs at SP's Face.

"You should give the costumes a try, babe—I bet you would look hot in it—and I miss my boyfriend in the halls" I say and pout.

"No, Maia—I'm not gonna look like SP, Toni may look great in it, but us boys? No way in hell" Fangs says and I narrow my eyes.

"Did you just—did you just say that Toni looks great?" I say and cross my arms faking my jealousy. Well—not all fake...

"What?" Fangs asks puzzled. "You like Toni now?" I continue and Fangs moves back as I take a step towards him.

"What? No? She's more into girls and I have a girlfriend—you" Fangs says confused.

"Then prove it" I say stubbornly. "How?" Fangs asks confused and takes another step back as I take a step forward.

"Come to school tomorrow—wear the stupid costume, and kiss me in front of everyone" I say and smirk.

"What? I'm not gonna wear that stupid uniform, Maia! You can't play the jealous card on me. It's not working" Fangs says and cross his arms. I raise an eyebrow at him daringly.

"Really? Then I guess it would be fun to run into Reggie and apologise for being rude against him, maybe I should find a way to make it up to him?" I say dead serious. But I don't mean shit of what I'm saying.

Next thing I know, I'm pinned to the wall by a furious Fangs. "Don't ever! Say something like again! Not even for fun!" Fangs says in this different tone.

I crash my lips onto his and he kisses back immediately. Oh well, he needs something to cheer his mood up.

A/N: Maia is moving around from friends—Fangs and her are trying not to be too much together all the time, and Maia is waiting for her mom to call and let her come home.
