I just called the toilet 'the loo'

I am an American calling the toilet the loo.

I also called fries 'chips' at a restaurant once. Though I might  have done that on purpose to embarrass my mother.

I need to stop watching so mainly bloody British shows. 

Ugh. I need some tea.
