Why does everyone assume Slytherin are evil? I got Slytherin on my house test, and I'm not evil, so what's up?

Most aren't really obsessed about the Pureblood thing.

Each house has produced the same number of dark wizards, they just don't admit it.

And guess what, Merlin was a Slytherin.

So seriously, is being a Slytherin that bad?
