I don't know the exact date; it's either the 10th, 11th or 12th of October, but one year ago I started watching Beyblade Burst.

I'll tell you how I came to be watching it.

I loved Pokémon at the time (I still do!) and I was watching Pokémon Sun and Moon on TV and I was scrolling through the channels to see if there was anything to watch after Pokémon.

That's when I saw it: Beyblade Burst, it was on at 6:30pm, right after Pokémon was over.

I still remember what episode of Pokémon was on by the way.

Anyway, o had heard of Beyblade before, and was planning on watching the original series anyway. But I decided that since Beyblade Burst was on now, I decided I might as well watch it.

So then Pokémon was over, so I switched channels to go watch Beyblade Burst. It was episode 4, where Valt makes the beyclub, and Rantaro and Ken join it.

I found that by reading the synopsis of the episode, that the main character's name was 'Valt'.

Weird name, even for an anime, I thought.

So I began watching it, and my first thoughts were: dang, that Valt guy is cute.

Also, that opening is pretty epic.

Also, funny story: I legit thought Toko was a girl for a really long time lol.

Anyway, then I saw Rantaro, and I was really confused about why he always had a lollipop in his mouth. And I actually thought he was a background character for a minute!

Anyway then I saw Ken, and I wondered why he always talked using his puppets.

And then, Shu came along. I didn't think Shu was hot at this time, but what I did think, was this:

Welp another white-haired, red-eyed anime character. This is the guy all the girls will like.

And I was right.

Basically I was very confused to what was supposed to be going on. I didn't know that beys had names, so I was wondering why Valt kept going 'GO VALTREYAK'.

Or why he was talking to his bey at all.

ITS AN INANIMATE OBJECT!!!!!

Anyway, those are my first memories of Beyblade Burst!!!
