You used to be a normal girl, just your average woman, until you met him. The day you met the archangel Gabriel was one you'd never forget. That night you were walking home in the dark, you felt as though there was someone following you, you were right. As soon as you passed by an alleyway someone grabbed you and pulled you down into the shade of the alley. The figure pushed you up against the wall and pulled a blade up to your throat.
"Where is he?" He shouted at you, tears were pouring from your eyes now.
"Where is who? I don't know" You begged, desperately trying to stay alive.
"Liar." He hissed pushing the blade slightly in to your neck, starting to draw blood. You yelped in pain, repeatedly begging them to stop, all he did was laugh.
"Want me to stop? Then tell me where your little archangel is." He chuckled when you screamed. You told him that you didn't know over and over again.
"Well then, I guess you're useless."He said blankly, you felt him draw back the knife, about to kill you, you waited for the blow, tensing up as you tried to prepare yourself.
"Stop." You heard someone say. The persons head turned towards the voice, you saw the figure place his hand on the attackers head.
"Shut your eyes" The figure whispered, you did as he said, not wanting to get hurt. You felt a bright light shine against your eyelids. When the light died down you felt someone touch your wrist and you opened your eyes again, you saw a man standing in front of you. He had long golden pushed back hair and eyes the colour of sun shining through honey. He smiled at you warmly and you smiled back before looking at the floor.
"Th-Thank you for saving me." You muttered, looking up again. His whiskey eyes staring brightly in to your (e/c) eyes. His hand reached towards your neck, his fingers lightly brushed your cuts, they suddenly felt warm. Once his fingers left your neck yours instantly went up to where his were just moments ago. You were amazed to find that the cuts from the blade were completely healed.
"How?" You questioned. He chuckled a little.
"Gabriel, the archangel, at your service." He bowed slightly to you.
"(y/n)...Angel? Really? I didn't think angel existed." You replied, Gabriel frowned slightly.
"We do and there are lots of us." You smiled at him.
"Well, thank you for saving me Gabriel the archangel." You giggled slightly.
"I couldn't let that disgusting creature harm you (y/n), demons, always a pain."
"So, er, why did you save me?" You questioned, suddenly worried about any ulterior motives. A slight blush filled his cheeks.
"Well, that's erm, a bit of a strange topic, considering we just met, but angels, they have a bonded, also known as a soul mate, a special human made just for them, and you, you just so happen to be mine." He said, nonchalantly.
"You're my soul mate?" You asked, you felt your cheeks getting warmer.
"The one and only." He replied, eating a lollipop that appeared out of nowhere.

You remembered everything, the laughs, the fights, the smiles, the kisses, all of it, the good and the bad. After meeting Gabriel for the first times, he started taking you on dates around the world, on your first anniversary he suddenly appeared in your bedroom one day.
"Hey (y/n) happy anniversary, I've got a little surprise planned for you!" Gabriel snapped your fingers and you were suddenly wearing clothes fit for the beach. You grinned at your angel boyfriend as he grabbed your hand and zapped you far away. You turned and took in your surroundings, you were on a beach of white sand with the sun beaming down on you.
"Where are we Gabe?" You asked, grinning.
"Australia, I thought we'd check out the great barrier reef." He said smiling at you widely. It was your dream to see the beautiful coral reefs, but you never thought it would happen. You smiled at him in awe and pulled him close to you, placing a short sweet kiss on his lips. He chuckled. Gabriel grabbed your hand and started running towards the sea, you laughed as you tried to keep up with him, clinging on to his hand. The two of you ran into the water hand in hand. He pulled you under and you began swimming deeper into the ocean. Gabriel clicked his fingers and a pocket of air appeared around your mouth, allowing you to breath under the water. You swam around, exploring the coral reef together, watching as fish glided through the beautiful array of colours. It was breathtaking. After watching the fish and exploring the reef for a while Gabriel pulled you close to him, and up to the surface. Gabriel kissed you deeply before pulling away.
"I love you (y/n)." He whispered in your ear, you smiled.
"I love you too." You said before splashing him with water. The two of you spent the rest of the afternoon laughing and playing in the sea.

A tear slipped down your face as you remembered one of the best days of your life. Gabriel had zapped you into a forest, he had set up the area beautifully. There were fairly lights woven into the trees, illuminating the scene. There was a large picnic blanket spread across the clearing, neatly placed underneath a large tree. On the blanket was a picnic box, inside it were all your favourite delicacies, and some chocolate for Gabriel. The two of you sat down while beautiful instrumental music played in the background. The two of you sat down, eating, talking and laughing together, until Gabriel looked you dead in the eye.
"(y/n), you are my soul mate, my everything, and I love you more than anything. I am so desperately in love with you and I want us to spend the rest of our days together, and I can think of no better way than doing that, so, (y/f/n), would you do me the honour of marrying me?" Gabriel said sweetly while getting on to one knee and pulling a ring box out of his jacket. He opened the box revealing a beautiful ring, the band was silver with a gem the colour of Gabe's eyes on top. Engraved on the inside of the ring were the words "For my angel." You hands were rested on your face, tears filled your eyes.
"Of course Gabriel, I love you so much." You whispered to him, not wanting a tear to fall down your cheek. Gabriel took your left hand in his and gingerly placed the ring on your finger. He was beaming at you when you pulled him into a kiss. Gabriel was your everything, and you had no intention of letting him go.

You and Gabriel got married on a small hillside overlooking the sea, it was a beautiful ceremony, your family attended as well as a few of Gabriel's brothers, like Castiel, Balthazar and Michael, Sam and Dean also attended. You stood under a white arch, covered in flowers and vines, white ribbons connected chairs and poles forming the aisle. The scene was gorgeous, like nothing else. You were at your happiest, but it didn't last long, with the apocalypse looming over your heads how could it?
Now you were kneeling beside your husbands body, your fingers clutching his shirt, your head buried in his chest, tears streaming down your face. You looked up to see Lucifer standing over you, watching you as you cried.
"You did this! How could you? He was your brother, your brother! You son of a bitch, I'll kill you!" You screamed at him. He had killed Gabriel, your Gabriel and you couldn't hold in your anger, although you knew it was dangerous you shouted anyway. You stood up to face Lucifer, you pointed an accusing finger at him, jabbing him in his chest.
"You killed your brother, my husband, you dick." You shouted at him, pushing him backwards. Lucifer scowled at you, using his powers to push you to the wall.
"He gave me no choice, he made me do it." You felt the anger pumping through your veins as he said that.
"No one makes you do anything, you're an archangel, there were other choices, you just chose the wrong one. Gabe was trying to kill you because it was the right thing to do, to save the world, to save everyone, he had a cause. You killed Gabriel, you don't have a cause. You're just a child, having a tantrum because daddy brought home someone better. You're pathetic. I swear to God, I will hunt you down, and I will kill you." You said, meaning every word that you said, Lucifer scowled at you one last time before you heard the sound of wings and he was gone. You would avenge Gabriel's death. You would kill Lucifer for what he did to you.
