Lady of the House - Reiji x Reader
'My, my, you have such a beautiful home!'
'Why, thank you! Please come in. My husband is just making tea for us all. Why don't we wait for him in the dining room?'
'Excellent idea!'
(Y/n) beckoned in the two guests standing on her doorstep. One middle-aged woman and a middle-aged man. The woman had her hair pinned up in a tight bun and was wearing a hideous emerald-green suit. It looked as if it had been tailored to her once upon a time, but she had gained weight and now it was stretched in places it shouldn't be.
The man looked like he hadn't been outside for six years. His skin was horribly pale and covered with fading freckles. A thin patch of ginger hair clung to his scalp, thoroughly combed so it was parted perfectly in the middle. He had a rather forced smile on his face.
The young woman in the doorway closed the door behind her visitors, leading them through carpeted hallways and into a fancy dining room. They took a seat around the large mahogany table.
The kitchen door swung open, revealing Reiji carrying a silver tray, filled with teacups on saucers, a plate of varying biscuits and a teapot.
Setting the tray down on the table, he reached over to shake hands with his guests before sitting down beside his wife.
'Welcome to the Sakamaki household,' he greeted, pouring scalding tea into each cup. 'Help yourself to biscuits.'
'Thank you, Mr Sakamaki,' the man began. He cleared his throat and threaded his fingers together, resting them on the table. 'I'm Mr Crestwall, and this is my wife. I'm here on behalf of my company, Crestwall Housing.'
'Yes, I was made aware of that,' Reiji informed, sipping from his cup. 'What was it you wanted?'
Mr Crestwall twisted his fingers. 'I was hoping for a large plot of land. It lies just two miles North of this property. I believe you own it. One of my teams went out to have a look at it and judged it a prime location to build a large block of flats.'
Reiji rested a hand on his wife's thigh underneath the table, looking at her. 'Would you be so kind as to fetch the files for me, dear? They're in the top drawer of my desk.'
'Of course,' she smiled, rising from the table. Nodding to her guests, she quickly excused herself and left the room.

'(Y/n)? What are you doing up here? I thought you and Reiji were in a meeting?'
(Y/n) turned to see her little sister standing in the middle of the hallway, flanked by Kanato and his teddy bear. The young girl, looking to be about 15 or 16, crossed her arms, pursing her lips.
'If you must know, Reiji sent me up here to collect a file for him.'
'You mean this one?' (S/n) grinned, holding out a stack of papers. 'I sent Ebony downstairs to snoop on you. We were curious as to how the meeting was going.'
(Y/n) snatched the papers, holding them to her chest. 'You and your bloody cat minion will be the death of me. If Reiji found out you're spying on us, you'd be in for it.' She took a deep breath, stroking her sister's head. 'Why don't you two go to your room and rest? I could've sworn I bought that movie you wanted yesterday...'
'You mean Pitch Perfect?!' (S/n) squealed. 'Oh my God, you're the best! Come on, Kanato, let's go watch it!'
The silent vampire allowed himself to be carelessly dragged away down the hallway.
Chuckling to herself, (Y/n) hurried downstairs to the dining room. She paused to fix her hair and smooth her blue-and-black dress. Reiji had found the whole blue-and-black or gold-and-white business hilarious, and decided to buy that very same dress for his wife as a joke. He never dreamed that she would wear it. Much less look so good in it. Satisfied with her appearance, the young woman slipped back into the room, sliding into her chair and placing the file carefully on the table.
'Thank you, dearest,' Reiji hummed, examining the papers. 'Mrs Crestwall here has been complimenting our home.'
'It's such a lovely place!' the woman twittered. 'Absolutely stunning! Especially the artwork! Was that an original Van Gough I saw in the entrance hall?'
'Indeed,' (Y/n) smiled stiffly. She was quickly losing patient for this little woman with her awful dress sense. 'It was a wedding gift.'
'You must have very influential friends,' Mr Crestwall noted, nibbling on a biscuit. 'Anyway, now that the files are here, Mr Sakamaki..?'
Reiji's knuckled tightened for a brief moment before he smoothed out the folder. 'Yes, of course.' He pushed his glasses up his nose. 'I must say, I've never had anyone come to me with such an idea.'
Mr Crestwall puffed out his chest. 'Crestwall Housing prides itself on a trusted, responsible and capable company. I can assure you that if you gave us that land, we would pay you handsomely for it.'
A white cat mewled, jumping onto (Y/n)'s lap. The small feline stared at the Crestwalls, scaring them slightly.
'Mrs Sakamaki, your cat is... just a tad unnerving.'
The young woman grinned, daintily scratching her pet under the chin. 'Oh don't mind Ivory,' she chirped. 'She's just judging you.'
Reiji finished his tea and swallowed the rest of his biscuit. Ivory jumped onto the table. Standing up, the man offered a hand to his wife and pulled her up.
'Mr and Mrs Crestwall, it's been lovely to have you here. After careful consideration, I've decided that I shall sell you the deeds to that land. The paperwork is in my office. Please follow me. We can sign it now.'
The middle-aged couple eagerly rose from their seats, trotting after the owners of the large house. As they left the room, the cat followed them with her yellow eyes. They missed the way they briefly glowed red as the door closed.
Reiji gripped his wife's hand, quickly raising it to his mouth and dropping a kiss on it. She giggled, bumping him with her shoulder. All the while, Mrs Crestwall watched enviously. It had been years since her husband showed such affection to her.
The four made their way down a staircase, into a basement-like room. It had a cell-like door, completely blocking anybody from going inside. Reiji pulled a key from his pocket, unlocking the door. He beckoned his guests inside.
'Mr Sakamaki, I thought you said the deeds were in your office?' Mrs Crestwall shivered. Her eyes raked over the chains on the walls, the bloodstained, wooden tables, the medieval-looking torture instruments. 'Why on Earth did you bring us in here?!'
Reiji wrapped an arm tightly around his wife's waist, looking down at her affectionately. 'Why don't you tell them, lover?'
(Y/n) sneered at the pitiful humans in front of her. 'I so hate boring business meetings. It's a shame you didn't offer us anything beneficial, otherwise you might have left with your lives.' She strode to Mrs Crestwall, lifting her chin up with a finger, peering into her wide eyes. She smirked at her.
'Reiji, can I have this one? She's so innocent - like a lamb waiting for slaughter.'
'You are the lady of the house,' Reiji chuckled, teleporting to wrap his arms tightly around Mr Crestwall. 'Why don't you dine first?'
With that, (Y/n) sunk her fangs into the annoying woman's neck, gulping down her blood. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Pulling away from the corpse, the woman realised that no blood would ever surpass that of her husband's. Reiji had already drained the man, stealing his blood in a short series of large gulps.
'I suppose Kanato and (S/n) have another set of dolls to entertain themselves with,' the vampire spat. 'What disgusting blood he had.'
'Drink mine instead,' (Y/n) offered, snaking her arms around his neck. She breathed out heavily as Reiji's nose skimmed her cheekbone and neck. He gave her skin a brief kiss before plunging his teeth into the curve of her shoulder and neck.
