Lucifer let a smirk cross his face, and he threw you to the side by your throat. You hit the ground and gripped your neck, burning under cold fingertips. You turned your eyes to Gabriel who looked at you, soulful and almost sad. He smiled at you and you knew, you gasped hurrying to stand and race to him.

There was a flash of silver peeking from his sleeve, and with a snap of his fingers you were in another place. You slammed your fists into the wall that appeared in front of your face, your screams falling deaf in the silence. You fell to your knees, sobbing, fists still against the wall, knowing you'd never see him again.
