You and Seamus will be in the same year for all these unless i say

4th year

Walking down the halls back to my dorm, I'm usually walking alone - obviously i am now, but i do  have friends! My main best friend is Seamus Finnigan, a fellow Gryffindor. I'd known him for quite a while, since we we're kids in fact! I'm just going say now - i may or my not have a small crush on him. Ok i know its bad but I can't help it! it his accent and his - AGH i just can't.

i turn a corner as I'm going back to dorms. I turn and i see what i hoped I'd never see. Seamus is friends with most girls like me - but i look who he's with, its Parvati Patel. But he wasn't just talking to her.

As if by slow motion i see they're lips touch. I felt my heart in my chest fall into a million pieces.

"Seamus?" I say, bottom lip quivering. He stops and looks my way.

"Y/N?" He says. I can feel my eyes fill up with tears. He starts walking towards me.

"Y/N look-" he says but i don't hear the rest as I'm already running down the corridor to the common room, eyes ready to burst they're so full of tears.

I run up the stairs to the dorms, luckily no ones there. So I sit on the couch, knees to my face, face in my knees crying. I hear the common room door open.

"Y/N whats up?" i hear Seamus say.

"leave me alone" i mutter, just some can hear it and i walk up to my dorm, but as i get to the entrance, I'm grabbed by the wrist and turned around. I see a pair of blue eyes staring right back at me, with a slight hint of guilt in their eyes - and i could see whose eyes they belong to and i tear up.

" I said leave me alone" I yank my arm from his grasp and go to my bed.

"I said leave me alone" she says. I see the tears in her eyes. How could i do this to her? i thought my feelings for her had gone. I should probably tell you now, i had a crush on Y/N. But then I suddenly started getting feelings for Parvati , i asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes... only now i don't feel i love Parvati anymore... i love Y/N. i have to tell Parvati i can't be with her, seeing Y/N like this is killing me. I walk down the hall to where i'd left her.

"Oh hi Seamus" she says winking

"Hi, erm Parvati i need to tell you something- " i start to say but she cuts me off

"i see you got rid of your friend" she sniggers. I look up, with anger filling inside me. I clench my fists to stop me slapping her

"i can't be with you anymore, its just - i can't" I say through gritted teeth and walk off.

"Oh" is all she manages to say. I'm not that close but i hear someone say

"Why don't you run off with your little princess 'Y/N'  then?" and i can just guess who it is

"ATLEAST SHES BETTER THAN YOU!" i scream, not able to contain the anger. She goes white and walks off while i run to the common room.

As i get there i see Y/N sat on the sofa, reading.

I see seamus run into the common room with tears in his eyes

"Seamus?" i say as he sits down. I put down what I'm doing and walk over and sit with him. I put my head on his shoulder

"I'm sorry seamus for being such an idiot, if this is whats made you like this -" he cuts me off

"Don't apologies Y/N, its not you - me and Parvati are over, I just didn't feel like myself around her, it felt as though i was being bossed around. Telling me to go here there and everywhere with her. It just didn't feel right" he says into his knees.

"wait what?" i say confused. He's finished Parvati. But why?

"Y/N, seeing you like that was killing me" he says and looks at me. "i couldn't stay with her any longer" he says and i smile.

" Well it was your decision, and you chose to get rid" I say. he holds his arms out, offering a hug and I gladly take the offer. I take in his scent and we sit there for about five minutes. He tells me something i only hear faintly.

"sorry?" I say and put my head up just to make sure i hear it right.

" I.. I lov... love you" he says and looks into my eyes. I'm shocked. but i've got to tell him now.

" i.. i love you too" i say back, smiling. His eyes light up.

"soooooo... Y/L/N will you take the offer of being my girlfriend?" he laughs

"of course finnigan" i grin back. He my cheek in his hands and brings it closer to his, then places his forehead on mine. I get too impatient and place my lips on his. it wasn't too long but it felt perfect. The sweet taste feel beautiful.

We let go and i smile.

"seamus?" i say

"yea?" he replies

" you'll stay with me forever won't you?" I ask looking up at him. He looks down

" Through whatever Y/N, through whatever" he says kissing my forehead.

I smile and as i feel my eyelids slowly closing. I fall asleep in seamus's arms, where I've always wanted to be.
