I've never seen outside the fence in the flash

I cut my knuckles while punching things in Dauntless

And I'm not proud of where I came from

It was a nice town, everyone was selfless

Cause everyone was like, help them, do that, put others needs before yours. Go to school, come home, do what you have to, they don't care, it's just part of their job

But my life was like, do better, be smart, I'm not raising any liars,be quick, think fast, this is for your own good, my dad never cared. I won't be stuck in his grasp for long

My friends in Dauntless stuck with me, we did dares on the train, I got a tattoo

And everyone that knows me knows, that I'm not fine with this, I just did it for fun.

Cause Dauntless is like, be strong, train hard, learn how to shoot a gun, be quick, think fast, you never want to be last, it's how we train, it's not just fun and games.

Cause trainings like, punch bags, hit targets, make sure you shoot it straight, push ups, sit up, whatever it takes. I don't care, it's better then where I was.
