A Ruby? Sapphire thought. A Ruby was really the best escort they could give her. She needed a little assistance checking a Kindergarten, not help building it.

But Ruby was no happier about the arrangement. Being with a stuck up Sapphire who would just boss her around, wasn't Ruby's favourite pass time.

Sapphire delicately stuck out a gloved hand, "Sapphire," she said in a slow voice. As if mocking Ruby.

Ruby grabbed with a strong hand and squeezed it tightly, "Ruby," she said it a rough, put off voice.

Sapphire grunted lightly, "lets just get this over with," she and the Ruby went into the nearest ship to travel to the Kindergarten. They didn't speak to eachother the whole trip, trying to pretend one another didn't exist.

They managed to get to the Kindergarten in record time, Sapphire was trying to get it over with as fast as possible. Which was going well. They hadn't spoken, yet. She just needed Ruby to check things off on a pad and they could go.

Sapphire ran a gloved hand across the wall, "good," she said, running the dirt between her fingers. Normally she would be checking her future vision often, but she didn't now. It would waste time. This needed to be over.

A loud grumble came from behind a rock. Their heads snapped up to look at where the sound was coming from. They looked at eachother, "What was that?" Ruby asked in a bushed voice.

Sapphire looked through her mind, it was a corrupted gem. It was a hideous monster, covered in rocks and mud, "a corrupted gem. It seems strong, there's a few chances you will be forced into gem form, more that I will be and a few more where we both live."

Ruby laughed, a laugh with no humor to it, "It's the last option I'm going with." Her gem sparkled and she summoned her boxing gloves and ran at the noise. Sapphire outstretched her hand wanting to grab her.

It was too late Ruby was going for it. She jumped up and smashed into the gem. Sapphire could barely see the fight going on behind the rock. She floated up slightly so she could see what was going on.

Ruby was smashing the gems as well as she could. She was clearly having issues. But Sapphire couldn't do anything but watch. Ruby then jumped up clicking off the wall and shoving her fists into the gem. It shot up in light and fell to the ground in its gem form.

Sapphire heart was pounding pretty quickly. He face was slightly blushing. Ruby was pretty hot beating the gem. She floated back down to the ground in front of Ruby.

"Thank you, " she smiled. Ruby blushed slightly.

"Ahh it was nothing," she lightly punched Sapphire's arm.

"Come on," Sapphire said handing Ruby back the pad, "lets get this over with."

Ruby took it from Sapphire's small hands, "whatever you say Sapphy."
