In an unknown au

The C.O.R.E was melting down. Everyone knew it. Alphys was trying to get the monsters to the specially built, blast safety zone for situations like this. Sans had built the zone himself, not that anyone knew that. He had no intention of going in there. If he pulled this off, the channeled power of the C.O.R.E's blast would break the barrier. But someone would have to be at the panel to channel the blast. He was going to be that someone. He already slipped the note in Papyrus' pocket, his reasoning behind the whole ordeal. The reasoning behind his sacrifice. Al got everyone inside and was trying to make her way back out. Sans was already closing the bunker door. A simple shortcut had been all it took as he waved goodbye to the startled dino monster. She didn't know the C.O.R.E like he did. She didn't know that the main energy of the core C.O.R.E was built of the seven human traits and the magic of several erased monsters. That could, and would, kill a monster. Already having determination, patience, and justice in him, he had the best chance, though still slim, chance at surviving. He shortcutted to the control panel. "heh. guess i'm going out in a blaze of glory.."

Epic POV

Mettabruh and I were working on upgrading my epic blasters when he literally materialized out of nowhere. I'd been in the multiverse alot, but never, have I seen a Sans like him. His bones were perseverance purple, with a justice yellow T shirt, determination red jacket, kindness green shorts with bravery orange stripes, and integrity blue slippers. "wait where's patience- oh, his hands. probably feet too." Mettaton looked at me. "It doesn't bother you that his appearance is akin to yours?"
"nah bruh. what bothers me is the fact that he has the seven human traits. help me carry him."

Taking a look at his soul.. it looked like the C.O.R.E's core power source. It made me wonder what happened to this bruh. Something to do with the C.O.R.E obviously, but what? Running tests on him, his soul reacted like that of the core. Did he absorb the core of the C.O.R.E? This guy just got a thousand times more epic. Did it change his magic makeup? Did he have new abilities? Could he light up an au with the snap of his fingers?!

C.O.R.E Sans POV

Ever felt utterly exhausted and wide awake at the same time? That's how I was feeling. I wanted to get up, yet lay here forever. It's annoying. "i'm.. alive..?" I muttered quietly. A head poke into my vision. "yeah bruh. welcome back to the land of the living and what not." He.. looked like me? But with a crack over his socket and purple clothing. Alternate Universes exist? I forced myself up. "i feel like i was torn apart molecule by molecule then reshaped as something new."
"Accurate description, darling." Mettaton commented. Wait Mettaton!? That's freaky. "huh. where i come from you're a superstar, not some lab assistant wannabe."
"he's actually a pretty good partner." Other me pointed out. "really? so what are you the royal scientist in this au or something?"
"exactly bruh. i'm epic sans, the royal scientist." He introduced. "uh.. c.o.r.e sans.. former royal scientist and supposed to be dead. if i'm not dead though.. then i absorbed it?" I asked, not really wanting to look. "according to your results, yes. explosion?"
"explosion." I nodded.
