Relationship With Love Interest: At first Mack hated Diego because of what he was doing to Clay, and she really only hated him because her friends hated him. But, she knew that was wrong, she shouldn't hate someone by association, and she wanted to make her own opinion on Diego, so she got to know him so he could prove to her that he was not as bad as everyone made him out to be. That ended up causing both of them to develop feelings for the other, and that's were their relationship stemmed from.

Background: Makayla 'Mack' Reed, grew up as the youngest of the two children in the Reed household, her only sibling being older brother Scott Reed. Mack and Scott where super close, they were each other's best friends, and no one could change that. This family was definitely not one to ever be messed with, as they were all very protective of each other and always defended each other. "Family over everything" was the Reed household motto, and they stuck to that motto.
