Now, not all 'Fan' Editions are bad, but what annoys me about them are the titles. I will not read a 'Fan' Edition if the second word of the title has been canonly used (i.e _________'s Journey, _________'s Prophecy, _________'s Vision, etc.). It is honestly uncreative, and what I look for are creative things. Look for something that hasn't been used by the Hunters, or better yet, by anyone!

The picture above is an example of a great 'Fan' Edition cover and title, first off, it's not about a total mary-sue OC, but about a canon character that had little light shone upon him in the canon books. Secondly, it has a great title. And thirdly, the art style looks just like what the Hunters use on their (old) books, aside from the fact that this doesn't have the traditional Super Edition background, but it still looks amazing.

Now, this next one is... meh...

I mean, it's not bad, but it uses Quest as the second half of the title. Hello, Firestar's Quest already exists. And it's about a leader... I mean, leaders are fine, but literally the only thing about the title that has changed from Firestar's Quest was the prefix of the cat...

But then... *breathes in and out slowly* I found this...

No words need to be spoken... First off, "Rosepelt" is literally just Tigerstar with purple eyes... second of all, it used the Sign of the Moon (correct me if I'm wrong) background image, and they didn't properly capitalize the title... oh my StarClan... So many things wrong with this book... but the damn editing is the worst part about it... Oh yeah... and Destiny... SkyClan's Destiny, anyone?

Welp... Just gonna leave it at that... Down in the comments, tell me about the worst 'Fan' Edition you've read. And 'Fan' Editions that were made to be bad don't count, such as Starkit's Prophecy and things like that...
