Lafayette's POV

For those few moments when he was talking about Alex, I could no longer see the crazed shell of my friend that would do anything to get him back but a heartbroken boy just needing to be helped from the consuming darkness of loneliness and loss.

Before I could do anything to call off our original(of killing him) plan Herc put a bullet through his brain.
