Bruce Wayne was staring at the huge crowd of people that were currently in his manor.

He had invited a lot of people, as always, but the one person he didn't expect to show up was Diana Prince.

His eyes settled on her as she walked in. There she stood she was in a purple dress that fit her body perfectly. It had a small tear up the left leg to her mid thigh. Her raven hair was parted at the right and went down past her shoulders in waves.

She was gorgeous to him. Bruce was in love with her. In all their years of working together in the Justice League she had somehow managed to worm her way into his heart. He had shut people out for so many years, to afraid to get close to someone for fear of actually having someone to lose.

She's proven time and time again that she can take care of herself and Bruce always believes her.

" Bruce. "

Bruce was even hesitant to adopt his kids. He's glad he did, it's been one of the best experiences of his life getting to watch them grow.

Though after what happened to Jason, Bruce shut himself off to everyone including Alfred. So much to the point where Alfred called her because he was worried for Bruce.

When she arrived she forced him out of the Bat Cave and got him to his bed. She took care of him and managed to get him to relax. That's when he had broken down crying. She never judged him. Of course she wouldn't, he had the best reason for being so upset. She just held him until he cried himself out.

" Bruce!"

That's when the two got closer, she made monthly visits. Well it was more like weeks visits until it didn't hurt so much without her there.

She meant a lot to him now and she was one of the best things he had ever somehow managed to get in the crazy life he lived in.

" Bruce!! "

He snapped out of his deep thoughts to his name being called. There in front of him was Diana. She was smiling at him.

" What has you so deep in thought?" She asked.

" Normal stuff. How long have you been calling me?" He asked.

She chuckled. " About five minutes. It was kinda cute to see you just staring off in the distance with a peaceful look on your face. " says Diana.

Bruce didn't respond to that, but he could tell by the little laugh that left her after she said that, that his cheeks had turned pink.

" What brings you here tonight?" Asked Bruce.

" You did Bruce. You still owe me that dance. " says Diana.

A memory of the two of them dancing at another party flashed into his mind. He had promised her the two of them could continue their dance.

That was about two years ago. Bruce gave a smirk. " So you came all this way just to get a dance out of me? " says Bruce.

She smiled. " Don't make this a bigger deal then it's supposed to be. It's just a dance. " says Diana.

His smirk changed to a smile. " Yes I know. A dance I've owed you for a long time now. " says Bruce.

She smiled sweetly at him. A song then started.

Come to me in the night hours, I will wait for you.

Bruce looked at her and offered his hand. " May I have this dance?"

She laughed and took his offered hand. " You may. "

The two walked together onto the dance floor and got into position.

The two started dancing. Bruce was not one for letting someone close. He never had been, but somehow she found her way into his heart.

She was staring into his eyes and they danced and he twirled her once. Part of him want for him to tell her how he feels, but there's another part of him that doesn't want to for fear of her rejecting him. He doubts she would because the two love spending time together.

Stay with me a little longer I will wait for you. Shadows creep and want grows stronger. Deeper then the truth.

" I love your blue eyes Bruce. I just got to look at them and it's like I get lost. " says Diana.

Bruce twirled her again. She was really all he wanted, the perfect woman. Beautiful, strong, independent.

She placed her arms over his shoulders and clasped them together behind his head.

Everything stilled. " I'm in love with you Bruce. " she said. His eyes widened. She loved him back.

It was like a dream come true. She looked him in the eyes. " Say something. Please? "

He sighed. " You know what. I'm not good with words. I'm good with doing. " with that he closed the distanced and kissed her.

He pulled her closer and depended the kiss. It was as if every cell in his body came alive. Where she touched tingled, man did he love this woman.

They finally broke apart. Both breathing heavily. " I love you too Diana. Have for a long time. " says Bruce.

" Good, so have I. " she connected their lips again in another perfect kiss.
