First persons POV of Shannon1300

Finn Hudson is the quarter back to William McKinley High Schools football team.

I never thought I'd be dating a jock, but here I am, dating Finn Hudson. He's tall, handsome, and the most loyal friend you could ever ask for.

The only bad part, which is necessarily a bad part. It is just something we can work on. He has a bit of a temper and tends to act before thinking.

Gets him in trouble every now and then and his brother Puck is no help in that field.

Tonight Finn and I decided to have a date. We couldn't really go anywhere because it was a school night. So his parents decided to let us have the dinning room and they are on the back porch. Puck are upstairs in his bedroom.

We set the table up with a fancy looking table cloth which is really just one we got at the dollar store. We laughed about it the entire time.

We set up some candles and played some romantic music. Finn is the biggest softy for music and for me.

He's always been so sweet. " Seriously, that happened?" I ask. We go to the same school, but I have different classes as him, so while I'm in class he is in the hallway. ( a/n. I homeschooled all my life. Graduated now, but I know nothing of public school. )

" Yeah, Karofsky was heading straight for Santana with a large slushee, but when things seemed at their worst." He slams both hands together and makes a loud clap. " BOOM!! It's Brittany to the rescue. She knocked his feet right out from under him. He hit the ground and the slushee landed right of his head. "

I laughed. It was always good to see that bully get what's coming to him every now and then.

" Man, I would have loved to see that. " I say.

" It was crazy. He was so angry afterwards, but that'll teach him to never mess with Santana.  " Says Finn.

The two of us laughed. He leaned over and kissed me, connecting his lips with mine in a kiss that held nothing, but the love we have for each other.

" Aww, if it ain't the two lovebirds. " says a voice at the door.

Of course he couldn't stay away. He's never give up a chance to tease his brother.

" Nows not the time Puck. Go back upstairs. " Says Finn.

" And miss this fun date. No no, don't worry about me. I'll just watch and make commentary every now and then. " says Puck.

" You are just trying to make fun of your brother. It's childish Puck. " I say.

" Well I am the baby of the family. " he said with a smirk.

I roll my eyes at that. That's always his excuse to try and get away with things. It doesn't always work for him, but he tries.

Puck pulled out a chair and sat down. " Aww candles. " he made fall back in his chair dramatically and dropped an arm over his forehead. " Oh Soo Romantic. It's almost to much. "

Finn growled in anger. His hand balling into a fist under the table. I set my hand over his to try and calm him down.

His brother always manages to get under his skin. He doesn't care if he gets in trouble, he just wants to mess with Finn. Gotta love brothers. I roll my eyes at that sarcastic thought.

" Puck, go away now!" Says Finn.

" Why? Am I making you mad? You two just look so cute. I just want to help. " says Puck.

" We don't need your help. Go away. " Says Finn.

He stands up and walks up to Puck. " Finn don't do anything rash. " I say.

It's too late though. Finn has grabbed Puck by the shirt and pulled him out of his chair. He then shoved Puck forward.

" GET OUT NOW!!" Yelled Finn.

I sigh at that. They are going to get in trouble. I lean over and blow out the candles.

" Sorry bro, I ain't leaving. Not until I take a sample of the sweet dinner you made for..." he stopped half way when he was met with a punch.

Finn had hit him. Puck yelled in anger and tackled Finn. The two hit the table of their way down and  everything went flying.

The two of them were yelling and fighting. I had rushed off to get his parents. They could handle this.

The two ran in and pulled the two boys apart. " Stop fighting. This is ridiculous. Your both old enough to know better. " says their mother.

" Because of this and the fact you two clearly can't grow up. You are both grounded. Go to your rooms. " ordered the father.

Puck looks like he has realized his mistake and looks at Finn. Finns face just breaks my heart. He's got tears rolling down his cheeks.

He simply turns and runs off to his room. I look at his parents and they bit, giving me permission to go after him.

I do and run up to Finn's room. Finn is really upset. He's crying pretty hard by the time I get there.

I sigh and walk forward. " Finn, oh baby it's ok. " I say sitting down and hugging him.

He just turns and buried his head in my neck. His tears leaving my skin wet. " No it's not. You told me not to do anything rash and I just... gosh I messed this entire date up. I'm so sorry. " he cried breaking into more sobs.

" Sweetheart it's ok. You didn't mean for this to happen. It's ok. " I say.

" Can you forgive me for acting so stupidly?" He asked looking at me.

" There's nothing to forgive Finn. You did nothing wrong. This date was perfect. Thank you. " I say.

He just smiled at me. " Your the best you know that." He say.

I smirk. " I know. " I say. That gets a laugh from him. " Now, next chance you get you make up with your brother ok. He may be a pain, but that's what makes him Puck. "

He nods. Then there's a knock on his door. I look and see his mother. " I hate to say it sweetheart, but since he is grounded he can't have visitors. " says his mother.

" That's ok. Thank you. " I say. I quickly turn and hug Finn tightly before kissing him once more on the lips.

" I'll see you at school tomorrow. " I say.

I then get yo and walk out. Him saying bye to me as I go. I turn and say bye as well.

I wave to Puck as I pass his room door. He looks guilty, but I just give him a smile and walk out.

I hug his parents and thank them before wishing them a good night and finally leaving out the door to head home and get ready for a good day and school tomorrow. Gotta love boyfriends and their craziness. I can't help, but to smile at that thought.

Finn and his brother may always be at each other's throats and yes, they may ruin a few dates we have every now and then, but that's what family does.

Puck wouldn't do this if he didn't like our relationship. Finn is amazing and I'm already feel like I'm part of the family.

So I'm just going to do what family does, forgive and carry on, and stay excited for what the next day will bring for me and my family.
